For many families, busy schedules filled with company parties, school concerts and festive parades can often get in the way of celebrating with loved ones during the holiday season. Holidays are meant to be spent with loved ones but finding a time that works for everyone isn’t easy; Ben’s Kosher Delicatessen Restaurant & Caterers is helping to keep the tradition alive with simple and delicious Hanukkah catering options that eliminate the time and hassle of food preparation and cleanup.

Throughout December, Ben’s is once again offering its Catered Hanukkah Dinner for Six. This classic Ben’s catering package is ideal for patrons who are seeking to preserve the tradition of a Hanukkah gathering, but do not have the time to purchase raw ingredients and prepare a meal. Everyone knows the heart of the meal starts with the meat, so Ben’s Catered Hanukkah Dinner ($129.99) includes three Whole Chickens with stuffing, or 2.5 pounds of Brisket (for an additional $10). Also included are two quarts of Ben’s famous Chicken Noodle soup, one-pound of rye bread, two-dozen mini latkes with applesauce and a small relish tray, as well as a choice between one-quart of Ben’s famous coleslaw, health salad or cucumber salad.

In addition to the Catered Dinner for Six, Ben’s is also throwing its annual “Lotsa Latkes” celebration, which allows people, Jewish or not, to connect to the story of Hanukkah. Hanukkah celebrates the miracle of the oil that burned for eight days when the Maccabees rededicated the holy Temple in Jerusalem after their victory over the Syrian-Greeks. Fried foods like potato pancakes are traditional Hanukkah treats because they are cooked in oil and remind us of the miracle of the holiday.

As part of Ben’s “Lotsa Latkes” celebration, any customer who purchases three-dozen latkes will receive one-dozen free, as well as 25 percent off each additional dozen. This discount offer is only available from December 8 to 24. To top it off, from December 12 to 20, three mouth-watering flavors —sweet potato, zucchini and spinach – will be regularly available. Ben’s latkes are great for school-functions, family gatherings, office luncheons and more. Flavored options will be only available in-stores starting December 12, but can be made upon request with advance orders.

Lastly, Ben’s takeout counter is also ideal for picking up last-minute holiday items, with a variety of options for everything from the main course to soups, sides, salads or desserts.
