Not a fan of inter-life karma. It’s seems horribly unjust from our perspective.
The last life is influencing this one and this one is being lived to influence the next one. And we have no idea about any of it so what value does this one on it’s own merits actually have? It’s like keeping a prisoner in jail who has no idea what he’s done. Think you are equal? Think you have as good a chance as the next man? Think you can do it if you really put your mind to it? Think again. The whole thing is more akin to pre-ordained than you deciding it. Even in the bible it talks about ‘crowns of life’. Sounds horrendous to me.
Now karma that hits during the same life I have no problem with. Would save us all a lot of trouble.
Now I freely admit I know nothing about karma or how it works and think it is a neglected subject and could do with widespread discussion. I also acknowledge that we could be avatars, which doesn’t really alter things if we don’t know and think we have individual exptression and free will. Perhaps they matter and we don’t. I don’t know.
