The endless need for oil and energy is driving all these nations, along with the U.K., and the EU, which are reliant on Russian and Iranian oil which is being piped from regions like Siberia to the Caspian Sea, and the Persian Gulf.

The last book of the Bible is the Book of Revelation that refers to the Apocalypse. The word Apocalypse comes from the Greek word, apokaplypsis, which means the unveiling or disclosing of reality that previously has not been received. In the Book of Revelation, we are given a picture of what is about to happen in the near future.
At the present moment, the world is in the most dangerous position it has ever been in since the Flood of Noah. As predicted by the ancient prophets, nations like Russia, Iran, Israel, Europe and Turkey are directly involved in planning an invasion of Israel or appear to be monitoring it closely. In chapter 38 of the Book of Ezekiel there is a reference to “the young lions of Tarshish” looking on while there is an invasion of Israel by Gog and Magog. This is happens when Russia, Iran and an alliance of other Middle Eastern nations invade Israel.
Tarshish was a seaport town along the Atlantic Ocean near Cardiz, Spain. The peoples who settled Tarshish traveled to England and Ireland by boat. Many scholars believe that these settlers than traveled from England to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. All of these nations were birthed from England. These are the nations which appear to observe the conflict and perhaps even protest it, but do not appear to be engaged in it. The World War III build-up that is going on with the U.S., Europe, Russia, China, Iran, Islamic nations and other regions of the world may not be the war of Ezekiel 38 or Armageddon. But, it is interesting to note how many of the nations listed in Ezekiel 38 are involved. In one passage of scripture there is reference to “fire on the isles” which could refer to a nuclear attack on the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
In Revelation 1:7 we read about what happens after the apocalypse, “ Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

I HONESTLY think there are a lot of people who come to this site and ENJOY thinking about the US being nuked or something similar.
I get the fact that we’re being militarized but there are some folks on here that honestly seem to RELISH the thought of Armageddon

What a shame…taking the precious jewel that is the Scripture of God and twisting it and shaping it according to human wisdom (ie, utterly arrogant ignorance and stupidity), and instead of using it for good, for purifying and saving and opening eyes to truth and strengthening faith, it’s taken out of context to create crap that that cannot be known and that only Hollywood could use to create sensationism that sells tickets.

But to pretend to be able to put present day names and places and persons to texts that go many layers deeper and into things far more important (spiritual) than the obvious is to pervert it and pollute it. I’m very much a Ron Paul supporter regardless of this possiblity. If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that prophecy WILL come to pass and there’s nothing that can be done to hinder it.
As far as the prophecy that says God “will send fire on [Magog] and on them who dwell carelessly in the isles.” This could very well have America and Magog in view. I don’t see its fulfillment being beyond 2018 (end of Rev 5th seal). I think it’ll be May of 2015, but that’s just my little prophecy hobby-horse dating paradigm.
I’m not a prophet and can’t predict future events, so don’t take me too seriously.
