This paints a picture of Passover in my mind. Those who heard the voice of the Lord did as they were told and marked their doors with the Blood of the Lamb…So too must we and that Mark will come as a Mark of Faith. We will all be given a choice that only a small part of all Christianity has ever had to make…the choice between Christ or potential harm.
But fear not my friends…that choice comes with a promise to those who chose in His favor…Revelation promises protection and again we are emboldened by Matthew 10 26 – 34.
The trick is this…If you are Gods child trust Him to guide your heart. This is very much like what He was meaning by becoming like children. Do not let the logic or reasoning we develop as we grow to mistrust other people mar your faith in your God and Savior who would never betray His own even if they betray Him.
Yes it will be frightening…but we have to trust that He knows what He is doing and He NEVER makes mistakes….His Judgement is always right on.
Also…People would do well to remember this is NOT Judgement day that is coming…Christ is NOT about to come floating or riding in on anything. Not yet. First comes Tribulation…then a new Time of peace ruled by Him. Look at all the living physical poof of this in the bible itself. So do not be fooled by the one coming soon who will call himself Christ…Be part of the few who will See the Truth of him. Remember this!
