God has scattered nuggets of profound truth throughout His Word.
They are there for us to dig out and find. There is nothing more satisfying to the soul than to discover one of these golden nuggets.
Here is one of them:
Psalm 104:2b You stretch out the starry curtain of the heavens;
Notice two things
(1)the starry heavens are being stretched
(2) the starry heaven is like a curtain.
The expanding universe.
The Hubble telescope is named after Edwin Hubble. Hubble noticed that the whole observable universe is in Red Shift. Red Shift means an increase in the wavelength of radiation emitted by a celestial body as a consequence of the Doppler effect. When an object moves away from you sound waves or light waves are stretched out; they are in red shift. When it moves toward you the waves “pile up” and are in blue shift. This is called the Doppler effect. This is what accounts for the difference in sound when a car passes by you. Red Shift means the universe is expanding away from us.
The universe is expanding or being stretched out just as the Bible says.
Now, what is being stretched out?
The space-time volume of the observable universe is expanding and Hubble’s law is the direct physical observation of this process.
Space-time is being stretched.
Space- time is usually interpreted with space as existing in three dimensions and time playing the role of a fourth dimension that is of a different sort from the spatial dimensions. Space-time is best pictured as a stretched sheet or curtain. When a heavy object is placed on the sheet, it distorts the sheet. This distortion in space time is what causes gravity.
The universe is like a stretched sheet or curtain.

This information especially about the red shift aspect is out of date. The Universe is not expanding, which originates from Einstien’s Big Bang theory, which incidentally never worked passed the galactic level, hence the need to add String and then Multiple String theories to it. String theory basically amounts to ‘we don’t know so we’ll make it up as we go theory’.
We are finding more of the Universe as our technology improves, does not equate with an expanding Universe. There is no evidence of a single beginning, because there are rivers of galaxies all going in different directions and speeds. A single beginning would show all galaxies etc expanding away from each other from a single point. That is not the case at all.
The universe is expanding faster than we thought
The newly refined value for the Hubble constant is 74.3 plus or minus 2.1 kilometers per second per megaparsec. The best previous estimation came from a study from the Hubble Space Telescope, at 74.2 plus or minus 3.6 kilometers per second per megaparsec. A megaparsec is roughly 3 million light-years.

From the actual paper instead of the blown up claims about in in NBC news report:
” This result, in combination with WMAP7 measurements of the cosmic microwave background anisotropies and ASSUMING a flat universe, yields a value of the equation of state for dark energy, w 0 = –1.09 ± 0.10.”
It’s a hypothesis, not fact.

You’ve given yourself an impossible task with this article, trying to prove the immutable, religious claims, with the flexible. Science is an ever evolving thing, with new discoveries every day. With physics we know it’s wrong, other wise it would explain everything, it doesn’t.
There’s an Iranian scientist who runs the Kersh foundation in Germany, which focuses on technology for space exploration, who is claiming to have discovered the cause of gravity, which if true is as groundbreaking as when we invented the wheel.
