USA goes "All in" May 20th gambling on foolhardy aggressive and potentially violent action

Scott Davis shares “May is the fifth month and with the digits for 2013, when added together we get 11, then we add 1 + 1 to tell us that this is an eleven/two month in numerology, which brings a spiritual quality to the month. The eleven/two combination is represented by the Lust/High Priestess Tarot cards which is about being in our strength and in our bodies while experiencing our intuition, independence, self-trust, and self-resourcefulness. May also brings us our first Solar Eclipse of 2013. The time between the Lunar Eclipse of April 25th and the Solar Eclipse on May 9th we are experiencing circumstances that step up the action, with a sense that if we don’t launch ourselves in new directions we may be left behind. We begin the month with the Sun, Venus and Mars in Taurus, joined by Mercury on the 1st, which creates tension with Saturn in Scorpio, that insists we take responsibility and work towards the path we have been shown. This new journey casts off on the Taurus New Moon and Solar Eclipse. By this time taking the “easy way out” is no longer an option, which many will experience as frustration.

     May begins with all the planets appearing to move forward from our vantage point on Earth except Saturn and Pluto which appear to move retrograde or in reverse motion. As I’ve said before planets don’t really move in reverse in their orbits, but appear to move backward much like being in a car passing a slower moving car. There is a point where the slower moving car appears to be moving in reverse when compared to landmarks in the far distance. Saturn appearing to be in reverse motion can be compared to a time period of recuperation or back tracking regarding some obstacle in the path. After its retrograde period we can advance forward toward our goals a little more rested and with a more efficient process as long as we honor it, rather than trying to push through regardless of resistance. With Pluto, the planet of transformation through a death and rebirth cycle, moving retrograde, which is about reviewing the past, and will require releasing anything from the past that is a burden to our new path. We can choose to let go or we can have it ripped from our hands, we have a choice about how we want to react, but Pluto will take our baggage regardless of our attachment, if it doesn’t have a purpose in our rebirth. Pluto represents death, completion, and in Capricorn, the breakdown of structures, to bring about transformation.

    Besides the stellium of planets in Taurus opposing Saturn, and the Eclipses, we have a few other alignments that indicate an increase in intensity and more powerful events on the world stage. We have the third Uranus Pluto Square on the 20th and Jupiter in Gemini conjunct the USA’s natal Mars occurring the day before, so it’s significant in discussing the square. This could mean that the USA may engage in an expansive (Jupiter) escalation of communication (Gemini) related to aggression, anger, conflict and competition to actual military actions (Mars). This will be a time period that breaks down the status quo and relieves us of old habits that have out grown their usefulness as the pace quickens. The chart of the third Uranus Pluto Square has many interesting alignments that should be noted. First of all the Sun moves into Gemini less than two hours before the square is exact, which illuminates intelligence and communications for the time leading up to the fourth square November 1st. With the Moon in Libra trine the Sun our emotions will be aligned with the Sun’s energy which opens our hearts. Mercury which rules Gemini, is also in Gemini, which places even more emphasis on genius thinking and communications. Mercury forms an exact sextile to Uranus and is inconjunct Pluto which will expose the dark energies that are no longer able to pull the wool over the eyes of the majority of the people as more and more of us wake up during the four year process of the Uranus Pluto squares. I believe that we are going to see a significant shift this year, where the masses will say “no more” to the systems of oppression whether they be financial, governmental, or religious. Saturn in Scorpio will not compromise and in a supportive trine to Neptune in Pisces will bring people to courageously share their truth. This may be an uncomfortable experience with Venus in Gemini squaring Chiron in Pisces, which exposes our pain to allow healing. This time period between now and November may be overwhelming in the experiences of human suffering, particularly the suffering of women. This also indicates major weather changes and other astonishing events as the Pluto Uranus square continues to break down the outdated structures of government and corporations through the empowerment of individuals fighting for change. Don’t expect the media to cover the revolution.

   As I was considering that during this square, Jupiter would be tightly conjunct the Mars, in the U.S.A.’s birth chart of July 4th 1776 at 5:10 pm, which brings expansive force to gamble on aggressive and potentially violent situations. The United States government may take foolish risks believing that it can do no wrong, and become hopelessly overextended, most likely in yet another confrontation or war. When I looked at the future Uranus Pluto squares I realized that the April 21st 2014 square would have Pluto exactly opposing and Uranus exactly squaring the USA’s Cancer Sun, and the final square on March 17th 2015 would have Uranus exactly opposing and Pluto exactly squaring the USA’s Saturn in Libra. As difficult as the transits will be globally, the United States has the front row seat on this rollercoaster ride of death and rebirth, transformation through revolution. Which I believe will lead to the complete collapse of the US’s economy when Pluto moves into its 2nd house of resources in 2016. With Uranus conjunct the US’s Chiron June 25 2015, August 26 2015, and April 5 2016, we can expect those time periods to bring intense events of unexpected wounding and healing. I think Nero can rosin up his bow and tune up his fiddle because another empire is about to burn to the ground, at least metaphorically.”
