A MESSAGE TO AMERICA IN THE ANCIENT GATES OF JERUSALEM

After their dispersion, the Jews began to return to Jerusalem. Ezra led in the rebuilding of the temple and Nehemiah led the rebuilding of the walls and gates. Ten gates are mentioned in the third chapter of Nehemiah. Two gates: “the gate of Ephraim” and “the prison gate”, are not mentioned. Why are they left out? They are left out because they are not a part of the message that seems to be contained in the ten gates. It is like the seven letters written to the seven Churches in the book of Revelation. There were more than seven churches, why were only seven selected? The seven selected were representative churches because the conditions in those churches represented the conditions that would need to be addressed throughout the coming church age.
We will look at the message in the ten gates.
The “gates” in America are broken. Who is to blame? I put the blame squarely on the heads of the pastors and the churches. We are called to be salt and light. The church is here to restrain iniquity. If we lose our saltiness we are good for nothing and are left to be trodden under the feet of men.(Matthew 5:13) This is exactly where we find ourselves today. Christians are terrified to speak out. They do not want people to think they are fanatics or intolerant. (Why are we always supposed to be tolerant, and it’s always sin that we are supposed to be tolerant of.) I see this all the time. Pastors are afraid for their jobs and their church’s tax exempt status.
People go to church and find people who are no different from the rest of the world. They see leadership made up of prominent, proud men instead of humble godly men. They hear worldly music, shallow sermons, church doctrine instead of Bible doctrine. They find gossipers, people fighting for positions, and a media brainwashed congregation who fear men more than they fear God. Wonder why we are losing the fight?
The Church needs to rebuild its gates. America will be good if its people are good
Let’s look at these ten gates in Nehemiah 3.
Vs.1 THE SHEEP GATE “Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it…”
The sheep were led through this gate on their way to be sacrificed.This gate reminds us of the cross and this is the very first thing we need to rebuild.
1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
John 1:29 Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
People no longer know they are lost. We need to pray that God would give an old fashioned, Holy Spirit revival so that they will see their need. They need to come to calvary and have their sins washed away but people no longer know how serious sin is.
Pastors who get their sermons from one another, or even buy their outlines from sermon providers, can never awaken a sinner. It takes a man of God who has spent many hours in prayer, with a fresh message directly from the Word of God to do this. This is too heavy a price for todays hirelings to pay. The greatest evangelist that I have ever known (Jess Hendley) would spend all day in prayer before he preached. He did not have a great delivery or voice, he was a diminutive person in appearance, but I have never been in another service like his. People who came could feel the power of the Holy Spirit. I am not exaggerating when I say you could feel the power of the Holy Spirit when you pulled into the parking lot. We need to rebuild this gate. We need the preaching of the Cross of Christ in power.
The problem is: people do not want to hear this today; they want smooth, ear tickling sermons.
Vs.3 THE FISH GATE “But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build”
The fish were brought into the city through this gate. It reminds us of Jesus words: “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19
We need to be witnesses. We need to bring people to Christ. This is getting harder to do because of the abounding iniquity but our job is to try. We can all start right at home and at work. Two of my bosses came to Christ with just a little effort on my part. What are you doing?
Vs. 6 THE OLD GATE ”Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah;” This was one of the oldest gates leading to one of the oldest paths. It reminds us of the tried and true doctrines of the faith that have come down to us from faithful men of God down through the ages. If it’s true, it’s not new.
Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
Song of Songs 1:7&8 Tell me, you whom I love, where you graze your flock and where you rest your sheep at midday. Why should I be like a veiled woman beside the flocks of your friends? If you do not know, most beautiful of women, follow the tracks of the sheep and graze your young goats by the tents of the shepherds.
The greatest book outside the Bible is Pilgrim’s Progress. Very few read and understand this old book today because we have drifted so far from the tried and true paths.
Vs.13 THE VALLEY GATE. “The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah;” This gate speaks of humility. The Bible has a lot to say about the sin of pride. It is the sin that brought down Lucifer. It is the reason for quarrels in church according to James. Pride hinders spiritual growth. James 4:6 God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
Isaiah 66:2 These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.
Nothing hinders revival like a church full of proud, haughty people, jockeying for positions.
Vs.14 THE DUNG GATE “But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem” Through this gate all the garbage was taken out of the city to keep it clean. It speaks of the need to keep ourselves from all that hinder our relationship with Christ. People watch all the filth on TV and at the movies, or read filth in books and then wonder why God no longer moves in their church. If we want God to work through us we must purify even our thoughts; it must be inward purity as well as outward. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Vs.15 THE GATE OF THE FOUNTAIN “But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah” Once we have cleansed our life of all that is stopping up the flow of the Holy Spirit He begins to flow through us like a fountain. John 7:37-39 ” On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive
The work of convincing the world of its need of Christ cannot be done in the flesh. The Spirit does the convincing through his cleansed servants. John 16:8 “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:”
Vs.26 THE WATER GATE ”Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto [the place] over against the water gate toward the east” Water was brought in through this gate. This is the gate where the people were gathered to hear the Word of God.(chapter 8)
This gate compliments the previous two. The Water Gate speaks of the Word of God. We are cleansed by the Word. Psalm 199:9 ”How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word.”
Ephesians 5:25&26 Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
We cannot be filled with the Spirit unless we are filled with the Word. Compare Eph. 5:18-20 with Col. 3:16 where it is shown that being filled with the Spirit and being filled with the Word is identical.
Vs.28 THE HORSE GATE. “From above the horse gate repaired the priests, ” The horse is used in the Bible as a symbol for war; the ass as a symbol of peace. When Jesus came the first time he rode upon an ass. They spit in his face, beat Him, and nailed him to the cross. They will not do this to Him when he comes again. He will come for war, riding upon a white horse. In Zechariah 1:8 and Rev. 6 warrior powers are represented as horses. See also Job 39:19-25 where the war horse is pictured: “When the trumpet sounds, he says ‘Aha!’ He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.”
The church needs to wake up and realize that we are in a war for the survival of this nation . When Paul said “we wrestle”, he was referring to the wrestling match that was to the death in the games.The weapon that we use is the Word of God. David could not use weapons that he had not become familiar with and neither can we. We must really know the Bible to use it. Someone said that the Bible is easy to understand, you just have to read it a few hundred times. How many times have you read it? I have been through it cover to cover over fifty times. (I am not bragging; I am provoking.) How can you fight with a weapon you are not used to? Eleazar fought so hard that his sword was stuck to his hand. We need pastors and Christians who will rise up as the mighty moral army of Eleazars and take the battle to the enemy. The Spirit filled Christian is a bold Christian.
Jude 3 “Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.”
Vs.29 THE EAST GATE. “After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.” This was the gate that faced the rising sun and speaks of the Second Coming of Christ. Jesus rode through this gate in Triumphal Entry. Later the gate was closed up and has remained closed to this day. The next person to go through this gate will be the Lord when He returns. He will ascend to the Mount of Olives and enter Jerusalem through it.The enemy will not win. We have read the last page, we know how it ends. I may write a separate article about this gate.
Vs.31 THE GATE MIPHKAD “After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad“
The word Miphkad, means review, or appointment (for judgment). It speaks of the judgment Seat of Christ.This judgment is for believers. We will all give an account of what we did or did not do for Christ. Read this chapter of Nehemiah and you will find the record of those who worked and those who did not. A record is being kept of our service. There is nothing you can do to earn your salvation but you must earn your reward. Those who have not been salt and light will suffer solemn loss. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Vs.32 THE SHEEP GATE AGAIN ” And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.” We started here and we come back to it again. It is as though we are being reminded that the Cross is the most important thing. The only thing in heaven made by man will be the scars on the body of Jesus. We will always be reminded of what it cost Him to get us there. We will never get beyond the cross.

Churches are flith, a filthy altar, a filthy eucharist, a filthy system of lay people with spiritual rulers over, and the filthy church collection plate.
The apostles of Christ were JEWS and those apostles carried out Christ’s mission to them to go into all nations to teach people everything Christ taught them (Matthew 28:19). Bible translators got it wrong, it is the seven synagogues of the Lord, not churches. The Gentile churches were found by the false apostle Pharisee Paul, not the apostles of Christ.
Church means a place of worship, so too synagogue means a place of worship. Jewish synagogue/church, Gentile synagogue/church. Jews are the elect of the Lord, not the Gentiles.

Pharisees stared Gentile synagogues/churches for one reason only – MONEY! It is evil and wicked to teach people that Pharisee Paul is of God and that one must follow Paul’s gospel of UN-Circumcision. It is evil and wicked to teach people to bow before altars and pretend to sacrifice the Lord! It is evil and wicked to teach people that they are to be obedient to people who appoint themselves are spiritual rulers (Hebrews 13:17).
No Gentile church is of God, they are all the synagogues of Satan (Rev. 2:9, Romans 2:28-29).

Moron Clinton and many others want to appropriate that which is for the Jews to the Gentiles. There is no analogy whatsoever, as claimed by Clinton in the article. He is a consummate liar and a child of Hell so he is a lover of lies (Rev. 22:15).
People, there is no judgment of God on America, or any other nation until God judges the entire world that ends with the return of Christ to reign on earth. God’s judgment unto victory begins for ONE REASON ONLY: that last person who is killed for giving the testimony of God that with his death completes the total number of those to be so killed (Rev. 6:10-11). The 5th seal souls ask God, when does judgment begin. That means seals 1-4 (commonly termed the four horsemen of the apocalpyse) are NOT the judgment and they are not of the apocalypse! Christ does not explain why the four horsemen of seals 1-4 are permitted to do as they do, we only know that their power is limited to 25% of the earth. And judging by recorded history, the four horsemen have been operating on earth for a very long time!

…(if you think Paul preached that the law isn’t still in effect, you have misunderstood his teachings)
3) If by “Gentile” you mean “nation”, I can kind of see where you’re coming from, otherwise what you’re saying makes no sense. Gentile does not mean “non-Jews”, it means nation or nationality (regardless of genealogy)..Proof of this lies in Genesis 25:23, where both Esau, and Jacob, the patriarch of all Israelites, are both called goyim (the word that is translated “Gentile” in the OT)
4)The “churches” in Revelation are churches, not synagogues…if they were synagogues, the Greek word for synagogues would have been used, like in Rev. 2:9

Pharisees.org is a one-trick pony. His entire shtick is the Apostle Paul is the Antichrist and if you believe Paul is a true Christian, if you believe in the grace Paul taught us about, then Pharisees will call you a “child of hell”. If you check his profile and the articles he has written, you will find he has tunnel vision for the Apostle Paul.
Not only does Pharisees close the door to heaven for himself, he muddies the waters, making it harder for others who are foolish enough to entertain his false teachings to find their way into heaven. Fortunately, for anyone seriously seeking the truth, it’s pretty obvious the fruit he displays is rotten fruit. And should he come back with a comment in this article, you will see his rotten fruit on full display.
Of course, everyone knows that the insignificant piffling small nation of Israel situated in the middle east, who were wiped off the face of Earth in 70 CE by the Roman empire for being odiously arrogant, is all about America 1’943 years later. *sarcasm off* What an ego.
There are many parallels between what happened in ancient Israel and what is happening in contemporary America. In a book named “The Harbinger”, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn details eight uncanny parallels relating the judgements that came to ancient Israel because of their national apostasy and those that are happening in America today.
Clearly, God’s law functions wherever God’s people have been, weather in Israel or in Christiandom.
The Israelites were a tiny nation, wiped off the face of earth by the Roman empire, not your deity. It was started by the mad emperor Nero who didn’t like their arrogance in not bowing down to him as a living god. Where’s the connection or similarity with America?
What sort of entity is so dumb it only has one solution to every problem both small and great, ie the death penalty, infinite punishment for piffling misnomers and premeditated mass murder. Surely an all knowing entity would come up with better solutions than violence. Especially one claiming to be ‘all compassionate’.
