All Inclusive End Time Prophecy Resources - Discern the Times!

Throughout the Church Age, people have always thought that Daniel’s 70^th week, time of Jacob’s trouble, Day of the Lord, return of Jesus Christ…was imminent. When you look back at different times in history, the Catholic Inquisition or the Holocaust for example, you could see why people would think this. However, though those days were prophesied in the Bible, you would be wise to note that many, many prophecies were not on the table or even worth considering to begin fulfillment, and therefore another time in history that has brought us to where we are today. Today, as with the thousands of other Christians who are on board (and even many secularists who see the global collapse approaching), I strongly believe we are living in unique, critical times as we are seeing Bible prophecy literally playing out before our very eyes, and every aspect of the “end times” is in play and rapidly approaching its’ fulfillment. The following are articles, videos and other readings, websites that will have you question the prophesied day we are living in (will be frequently updating @ http://tommyharkey.blogspot.com/). Each category will include Scriptural references for the prophecies related. Many of the posts can be included in every category. No article will be posted that is not based on evident, researchable fact, as well all will relate to the Biblically prophesied time of the coming “tribulation” before the return, second coming, of Jesus Christ. The Bible says these events will increase in frequency and magnitude as “birth pains on a woman/woman in travail/labor pains (Jer 30:6-7, Mt 24:8),” and those with the will and desire to understand, those who are yearning for truth today, are seeing this play out like never before. Every event is in exponential incline or decline, as if getting pulled closer to a black hole’s “point of singularity” where not even light can escape, in relation to the increasing “birth pain contractions” of its’ foretold direction. The sole purpose of this is to grow up a urgency within the reader to share, or believe, the gospel of salvation by God’s loving grace and mercy in the substitutionary, sacrificial death on the cross of Jesus Christ as the complete, perfect atonement for the penalty of our sin; the Son of God – fully flesh yet fully God, who was raised from the dead on the 3^rd day, ascended in glory to heaven at the right hand of the Father, the only intercessor between God and man, and will return!

We will all be physically resurrected one day, putting on immortality and judged; please make the right choice to accept God’s grace and mercy by faith, He truly wants to save you. God does NOT send people to hellfire, they send themselves by their freewill choice to not believe the gospel. If you are feeling convicted of sin or wrongdoing, your conscious is stirring up questions of your faith, why we are here and eternity, if you are realizing that you will never “find yourself,” know that God desperately wants the broken, the lost, the wretched, the sinner — “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for my sake will find it…I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance (Mt 16:25..Lk 5:32).” …I ask that you would please consider my other blog posts http://tommyharkey.blogspot.com/ and youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/t97h1/videos. Our God loves us so much, he is patient, “not wanting anyone to perish, but that all would come to repentance (2 Pet 3:9).” All prophecy is good as it points to Jesus Christ.

I need to add something for Christians. I have learned by God’s Word and guidance of the Holy Spirit, through the countless hours of studying these current events and prophecies, and the time I have spent sharing with other Christians what the Lord has led me to learn, that this lifestyle of studying and sharing “end time” prophecy, or evangelizing with prophecy, is not for all of us. What I mean is, Scripture teaches that we each have a serving purpose in “the Body of Christ” in ministering the gospel (1 Cor 12), and I believe that some Christians are just not meant, called to focus on these things. For example, ‘this Christian’ has been given the gift of witnessing to the youth; therefore, I do not believe it is this person’s place to be concentrating on evangelizing by prophecy as they are needed to grow the youth up in the Church. That said, is it good to be aware of the times, absolutely; God does not want his children to be ignorant of the times. In Mt 16:3, Jesus said, “Hypocrites! You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you can’t discern the signs of the times?” But I just believe that it is God’s sovereign purpose that some are needed in other places of spreading the Gospel and should not have their spiritual gifts convoluted by today’s madness, because if I am honest, it can be VERY overwhelming seeing the path we are headed down. As well, we all have innate defense mechanisms, psychology of “terror management,” and even deceitful hearts to keep us optimistic and in search of a prosperous, pleasure-filled future (do not forget, if we are in Christ, we are from the world but not of it — 1 Jn 2:15-17). And we all have kids, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc., and we do not want to believe any of this is going to happen. I’ve heard it put in this analogy: many people still have a horse in the race they don’t know is fixed – even though the horse is guaranteed to lose, or all the odds are against it, our money is still on it and there is no way we can give up pulling for it. Lastly, a sad fact is, many people are sharing Bible prophecy today and actually leading people away from Christianity. I do not support “date-setting;” people like Harold Camping have really aided in the “scoffing” of today, “Some crazy Christian is talking about the rapture or Jesus coming, we all know that has been said over and over again, pfff.” I will not share current events that really have no significance in evangelizing the gospel in the first place, or may simply cause the hearer or reader to say, “Wow those Christians are crazy, I want nothing to do with that.” I enjoy studying the Enemy; the occult, Satanism, the Deuteronomy 18 practices, the esoteric and Luciferian societies…but much of this does not need to be included in sharing the gospel or discipling, and must be approached very carefully if it is. Many of these things are simply not necessary in planting the seed of the gospel. The #1 purpose of the believer should ALWAYS be to lead other’s to Jesus Christ at the cross, rather than try to fascinate people. With that, do not “sit on the rooftops,” as the Thessalonians. Be active in sharing the gospel! The gospel will always be present here. That is our Great Commission of Mt 28.
