Day of the Lord Hidden in Genesis 7? :

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Bible study is just that, study.  It is not science, it is not infallible for we are the ones studying.  I came across something tonight, and did a palm to my forehead move and started looking some stuff up based on some pretty interesting things I have already spoken of in the past on this blog.  If you have not read about Rabbi Judah the Pious, you really need to hear what he predicted that has come true up until now.  Now, how he came to his understanding is quite different from how I came to the interesting date of 2017, and quite frankly, he has history on his side.  I have bible study and well some belief that as the last generation is a wicked one, they cannot be blessed with 70 years.

Now, I am going to say up front, that determining dates is very risky.  I have not met an angel of the Lord who said, “Reveal this date”.  I am simply laying out the words of Yeshua, and he said that we were not to be unaware lest we be taken in the wrong season by anti-Christ.  He does NOT want us to be fooled.  So, basic things have to line up for certain prophesies to be fulfilled.

1.   Israel had to become a nation again and it is represented by the fig tree, hence the parable of the fig tree.

This amazing thing happened in 1948.  Never before had a nation disappeared from history to be reborn later.  Some would say man did it and was forcing the      issue.  One must consider what prophecy is and is not.  Are we puppets?  Did God not give us free will to choose a path of love over evil?  Is God all knowing and aware?  Is God outside of space and time?  If you say yes, then I submit to you that God told the prophets what WE did.  Certainly God moves upon men, even evil men.  Man always has a choice though, and I believe the prophecies were have been given are much as a news reporter relaying what they saw.  Thus when we do it, we are the ones who made each decision.  So, Israel did become a nation again in 1948 and survived by a few miracles.  The Muslim nations were ready to wipe them out the moment they became a nation and attacked them in two wars ready to drive them into the sea because of the hatred between Ishmael and Isaac.   Israel survived and the desert again began to blossom under their hands where once it was a barren wasteland it is now a beautiful area.

2. Jesus / Yeshua said that the last generation would see increases in disasters as never before.  There would be earthquakes, floods, wars, pestilence increasing upon the earth as if a woman in labor, and it has happened exactly as prophesied.  Look at this graph.  Note the year all these things began increasing:

1948 Begins the Increase

We would see the increase of troubles in the world and they would get to such a state that if God does not intervene we would all die.  Could this refer to nuclear annihilation?  Could it be the complete end of all believers?  I think you can read that particular passage spiritually and physically.   We are promised that the days of anti-Christ are cut short for the sake of the elect who will be delivered up before anti-Christ and must not keep the Holy Spirit  from speaking through them in that hour.  We are not to premeditate what to say, just say what we are given.  I hope you know the bible and truth for that is what Yeshua / Jesus answered Satan with.  If you love God though, have no fear for you will be given what to say.  If you love God you should know the bible intimately and have it stored up with in you to withstand the lies of the evil one.

Jesus was asked by his disciples what the end would be like and he said:

Mat 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Many read verse 36 and stop right there.  “See, you can’t know the day nor hour, so you can’t possibly know when it will be!”  I have heard this many times, but Jesus said he did not want us to be taken unaware.  Taken by whom? Taken by anti-Christ.  Anti in the Greek does not mean opposite or against, but “instead of”.  It would be like a waiter asking you if you would like “Equal” instead of “Sugar”.  It’s a similar substance, it tastes similar, but it isn’t the real deal!  Lucifer is coming to play Christ.  He comes in on a white horse with a bow, but in the Greek the word is “Toxon” which means a cheap fabric imitation which is not the real deal.

Rev 6:2  And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Bow there is :

G5115
τόξον
toxon
tox’-on
From the base of G5088; a bow (apparently as the simplest fabric): – bow.

Where as Messiah comes in and we see this:

Rev 19:11  And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Why did Jesus tell us these things if we are not to be aware of what is coming.  Prophecy is given for us to know the season.  Jesus said, the last generation is that of the fig tree.

Mat 24:32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Mat 24:33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Mat 24:34  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

So, what were “these things”?  They were the wars, rumors of wars, disasters, neighbor turning against neighbor, preaching the gospel to all the world, and a great falling away followed by a time of such distress the world has never known before.  My friends, look around you!  There are immense problems as we have never seen in the world before.  Christianity has been under attack since the 1960′s as never before and it is increasing.  I have shared how some have lost their faith because of the New Age liars who teach them that Christ is a myth. That the bible is some big fairy tale that is really about astrotheology!  These ignorant sheep do not have the word deep within them.  The Church has fallen away!  Only two churches are praised in the book of Revelation, and they knew the secret of those who claim to be Jews and are not, but they are the synagogue of Satan!  Now, be careful there, for some teach that all Jews are liars and of that synagogue, and that is NOT what Revelation says.  Some who claim to be Jews are NOT and they are Satan’s children.  I will not go into that study now, but you can do a search on this blog for the Kenites, and it is a very hidden thing in the bible. They killed Jesus because he told them to their face they were Satan’s kids and were guilty of all the blood of the prophets from Zacharias on the portico of Solomon to Abel!  WHO KILLED ABEL?

Cain killed Abel and who are Cain’s children? Yes, they are the Kenites.   Go look up the study.  I won’t give it to you here.

So, the nation of Israel is the fig tree.  This was very good, so I share it now:

The Fig Tree

The question of great moment, therefore, is what the fig tree represents. Many commentators throughout church history have agreed that it represents the nation of Israel. In this symbolism Jesus is alluding to a vision of Jeremiah.

1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

3 Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

5 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.

6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

7 And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:

9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.

10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

Jeremiah 24:1-10

The prophet saw the people of Israel as two groups of figs, one good, the other bad. The Lord told him that the good figs, representing the godly portion of the nation, would someday be planted like a fig tree, never to be rooted up.

The same imagery occurs more than once during Jesus’ ministry. For example, He uttered the following parable about a year before His death.

6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:

9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Luke 13:6-9

The standard interpretation is that the owner is the Father, the keeper is Christ, and tree is Israel. If this interpretation is correct, the meaning of the parable is transparent. Jesus’ ministry has gone on for three years without any fruit and the Father is ready to set Israel aside, but the Son pleads for the nation, asking that it be cultivated another year and given another chance.

But notice Jesus’ view of the fig tree a year later, after the year of prolonged opportunity had passed by.

11 And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.

18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

19 And when even was come, he went out of the city.

20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Mark 11:11-21

Why did Jesus curse the fig tree—a mere tree whose only fault was that it had not yet borne fruit? The incident is obviously symbolic. The day before the cursing of the tree was Palm Sunday, the day of Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, when He presented Himself to the people and their leaders as the Messiah, in fulfillment of Zechariah 9:9. The response of the nation was divided. Although some individuals accepted Him, the nation as a whole rejected Him. In particular, the elders of the people rejected and severely opposed Him (Matt. 21:15). Therefore, in His justice and holiness, God rejected the Jewish nation. Subsequently, less than forty years later, in A.D. 70, God judged the Jews by destroying their city and scattering them throughout the civilized world.

Now it should be perfectly clear why Jesus cursed the fig tree on the morning after His triumphal entry. The two incidents are linked together. The cursing of the tree was a picture of the judgment that would soon fall on Israel because Israel had rejected their Messiah.

Now it should also be perfectly clear what the parable of the fig tree in the Olivet Discourse means. As the disciples were walking into the city on Tuesday morning after Palm Sunday, they noticed that the tree which Jesus had cursed the day before had withered and dried up. Later, on Tuesday evening, when the memory of the withered fig tree was still fresh in their minds, Jesus spoke the parable in question. He said that when the church sees the fig tree leafing out again, it will know that “it is . . . at the doors.” The Greek for “it is” can also be translated “he is.” In prophecy, “door” is often a symbol for the passageway between heaven and earth (Rev. 4:1). What the parable means, therefore, is that when the nation of Israel revives after its coming disintegration and death in A.D. 70, the return of Christ will be imminent.  SOURCE

Israel became a nation again in 1948

We are told that generation will not pass until all the prophesies of the final generation happen.  The question them becomes what is a generation.  In the bible, we have 40 years in the wilderness as a probation for a generation.  We are told the years of a righteous man are 70, and that man shall not live longer than 120 years.  There was much talk in 1988 being that generational time, but we know that was not true.  Then, I knew the likely time would be less than 70 years because Jesus tells us the last generation is an evil generation.  What is 1948 plus 70?  That would be 2018!

I have only recently been blogging about it, and came across the story of Judah the pious who made astounding predictions about Israel.

JERUSALEM – Judah Ben Samuel was a legendary and prolific German rabbi of the 12th century who made some astonishing and specific predictions about the future of Jerusalem and Israel that came true.

Ludwig Schneider of Israel Today magazine has translated some of his work into English over the last few years, including “The Book of the Pious – Sefer Hasidim” and the “Book of Calculations – Sefer Gematriyot.”

Following the Christian crusades to the Holy Land, between 1096-1270, a regular correspondence developed between the Jews in the Holy Land and the Christian West. Thus, for example, the rabbis in Worms and Regensburg in Germany knew that Saladin’s Ayyubids had been ruling in the Holy Land since 1187.

At this time, Judah Ben Samuel published the results of his biblical calculations (Gematria) and astrological observations and summarized as follows: “When the Ottomans (Turks) – who were already a power to be reckoned with on the Bosporus in the time of Judah Ben Samuel – conquer Jerusalem they will rule over Jerusalem for eight jubilees. Afterwards Jerusalem will become no-man’s land for one jubilee, and then in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”

One jubilee is 50 years (Leviticus 25). It is the 50th year after seven times seven years, the year in which each person should regain ownership of his or her land. Ben Samuel’s calculations were purely theoretical; there was absolutely no sign at that time of their being fulfilled. He himself was not able to experience their fulfillment, for it was only 300 years after his death that the first of his predictions were to come true.

The Mamluks, who had been reigning in Jerusalem since 1250, were conquered in 1517 by the Ottoman Turks. They remained for eight jubilees (8 x 50 = 400 years), that is to say they were in Jerusalem for 400 years. Exactly 400 years later, in 1917, the Ottoman Turks were conquered by the British. The League of Nations conferred the Mandate for the Holy Land and Jerusalem to the British. Thus, from 1917, under international law, Jerusalem was no-man’s land.

Then, when Israel captured Jerusalem in the Six Day War of 1967, exactly one jubilee (50 years) after 1917, Jerusalem reverted to Jewish-Israeli ownership once again. Thereby, according to the prophecies of Judah Ben Samuel, the Messianic End Times began.

But to recap the astonishing predictions: In AD 1217 this scholarly and pious rabbi prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem for eight Jubilees. Now, keep in mind, he made this prediction 300 years before the Ottoman Turks seized control of Jerusalem in 1517. If indeed 1217 and 1517 were jubilee years as Judah Ben Samuel believed, then his prophecy was exactly right, because exactly 400 years after the Turks took control of Jerusalem they were driven out of the city and the holy land in 1917 by the Allied forces under the command of General George Allenby – on Hanukkah, by the way.

But it gets more interesting still.

The rabbi also prophesied that during the ninth Jubilee Jerusalem would be a “no-man’s land.” This is exactly what happened from 1917 to 1967, due to the fact that the Holy Land was placed under British Mandate in 1917 by the League of Nations and literally “belonged” to no nation.

Even after Israel’s war of independence in 1948-49, Jerusalem was still divided by a strip of land running right through the heart of the city, with Jordan controlling the eastern part of the city and Israel controlling the western part of the city. That strip of land was considered and even called “no-man’s land” by both the Israelis and the Jordanians.

It was not until the Six Day War in 1967 when the entire West Bank of the Holy Land was conquered by the Israeli army that the whole city of Jerusalem passed back into the possession of Israel. So once again the prophecy made by the rabbi 750 years previously was fulfilled to the letter.

It certainly would be significant if both 1917 and 1967 were Jubilee years, considering the significance of what happened in Jerusalem on those years. But it gets even more interesting, because Judah Ben Samuel also prophesied that during the 10th Jubilee Jerusalem would be under the control of the Jews and the Messianic “end times” would begin. If he’s right, the 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017.  SOURCE

Thus a little known Rabbi from the 12th century has predicted with amazing accuracy what has happened with Israel up until now.  2017 appears to be the year to watch.  Does this begin the tribulation time or is this the end we know as the Day of the Lord.  Things would have to change very suddenly to see worldwide turmoil, but imagine conditions such as were those in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina.  Imagine lawlessness and people just needing food and water.  Could that happen worldwide suddenly?  Just last week we had an incredible near miss of a massive Coronal Mass Ejection from the sun!  What would happen if all electronics were fried around the world?  How would you work?  We in the first world countries are much more dependent on our computers, cars, electricity for survival.  Can you image the chaos that would bring ?  Do you think it would take the criminals of society long to take advantage of this situation?  I think things could get desperate very fast.  What about a limited nuclear war in the Middle East.  With China and Russia lining up to fight America and her allies including Israel?  We could be on the brink of sudden destruction when a miracle man appears on scene to save the world.

Eze 13:10  Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

Despite my problems with Paul, he knew the Tanach. He drew upon the scriptures regarding the Day of the Lord and wrote based on those scriptures:

1Th 5:2  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1Th 5:3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1Th 5:4  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

So, sudden destruction comes when the people believe we have a peace and why will they be crying “Peace, Peace”?  Because they will have come to the brink of destruction and be ripe for great deception!  But, I saw something else tonight. Could Jesus have been laying another gem when he said,

Mat 24:37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Who brought the flood?  Did Satan bring the flood? No, God brought the flood to bring to an end the meddling of the fallen angels whose leader is Satan the Anti-Christ!  He will beguile the world with a flood of lies from his mouth.  But, when was the day Noah entered into the ark?  We are told that it was the seventeenth day of the second month!  Yes, we have been given a day for Noah’s entering the ark!  The day the Lord ended that deception is linked by Messiah to the end time.  When is the seventeenth day of the second month in 2017?

The God of the old testament is Jesus Christ, why would Jesus come to reveal the Father to His disciples if they already were well aware of Him from the Garden on.

Christ said no one has seen or heard His voice, so who did the Israelites hear talking from Mount Sinai??

      Read John one.

Did you ever consider God took their lives because they were living in such a lawless manner they would soon degrade to animals. This is what He did at the time of Noah.

God gave them life in a temporary physical body of dust, they as all will, would soon die.
If He gave them life He then has the power to restore it to them again at a better time.
Its called the 2nd resurrection, read Ezekiel 37.

you have your panties in a knot because you refuse to submit to God’s rule over you.
He is getting ready to explain to the world, you will obey !!! He demands peace, joy, happiness — everything you really want and don’t know how to get.

read the one on the Law and both Covenants, it might take a little of the confusion away. It was posted on the 5 at 8:43

Who needs heavy-weight sainted theologians when we have Unified Serenity and Pix the girls’ locker-room lesbian to explain the true meaning of Holy Scripture? Theological counsel of this caliber is quite a gift. I feel so much more enlightened now.

What you mean as opposed to you, pervertedly obsessed with other peoples sex lives and an immature bully who can only insult people instead of addressing the point?

“The God of the old testament is Jesus…”

Would mean he sacrificed himself to himself in a melodramatic dying duck act. Are you so incapable of critical thinking?

Deleting my perfectly sound comment to destroy the competition is what all dictatorships do because they cant exist in a freewill world. There was nothing in my comment that could be interpreted as insulting. Disagreeing with historical facts is not grounds for removing comments. What’s more, you remove my comment but leave the insulting one by Anonymous, which proves you are nothing but a worthless hypocrite.

This is the first I have seen the comments so not sure about deleting anything. As for graven images, if that is your take fine. So throw out the entire article and not deal with anything. I see it as depicting a future scene. I don’t go around worshiping an image.

As for any issues some may have with what I have presented, why not present what you think is wrong and then we can communicate. Ad hominem attacks are useless and show intellectual dishonesty and one who comes from a point of inability to defend their thoughts. I would hope real discussion happens, but so far, not so much.
