But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.   (2 Timothy 3:1-7)

Beware! Around every corner is a demon waiting for you!

Part 3, Demon Chronicles, My Demon Lover

by Jade Fox | November 26, 2013 | Before It’s News

“…as it was in the days of Noah…”

Cooking With Demon

We stood in the kitchen cooking while the children all played outside. The aroma of sauteed boneless chicken, with fresh garlic, Sauvignon Blanc, onions, and peppers in extra virgin olive oil filled the air. Sounds of music and the laughter of children echoed in the background as the evening sunlight began to set.

He stood behind me with his arms wrapped around my waist talking and whispering as I giggled. I wasn’t quite used to all the attention I was getting, as every few moments he turned me around and kissed me passionately.

All at once, his blue eyes were peering into my bashful, amber eyes. With sincerity and depth, he announced, “This is the most fun I’ve had in the longest time. I feel like I belong, and it feels like family—the kids all playing, cooking dinner together, the music—it’s all so nice,” he paused to smile, “I really like it,” he paused once again to kiss me, “I really like you.”

Being a little shy, I was speechless. Even though I stood at 5’7″ tall, he was much taller than me. He leaned down and kissed me again, making my speechlessness okay.

Demonic Confrontations

After the kids all went to bed, we sat down on the couch in the living room together.

He ran his fingers through my hair, pulling me closer to him, “Jade. I think you can tell how much I really like you.  For once in my life, I am happy. You’re beautiful, smart, talented; and whenever I am away, all I can think about is you.”

I blushed, not sure how to respond. I was never one to think so highly of myself. Quite the contrary. I cleared my throat and set my glass of white wine down on the coffee table. “Well, thank you. I’m not sure what to say. I have a lot of fun with you, too,” I paused nervously as I glanced down, and then back up into his face, “It just feels right.”

He stood up and slowly walked over to the patio doors, glancing out into the clear night sky. “Jade, I need to ask you something, but I’m not sure how,” he turned to look at me, and I could see concern scattered across his face.

I remained seated, unsure what was wrong. Had I done something?  Said something? I didn’t know what to think! “You can ask me anything,” I assured him.

He suddenly walked over to me, took my hand, and stood me up in front of him, kissing me first before speaking.  “How would you like me to move in here with you? We could split the costs and I could help you. I can only see good things for us. What do you say?”

I hesitated. Sure, I had a rough past and had done a lot of bad things I was not proud of. But I had never lived with a man outside of wedlock. Here I was trying to get my life right with God, and this didn’t seem like a move in that direction.

I wasn’t sure how to answer his question. Everything was happening so fast. I did really like him, but I wasn’t necessarily ready after a little over a month to move in with someone. And what about my children? I had so many questions, and so many uncertainties.

I stepped back slightly, quickly looking away, in an attempt to conceal my uneasiness. This seemed very important to him.

He reached up and grabbed at his hair, “Damn! I knew I should not have asked you this. I’ve just screwed everything up, haven’t I?” His voice reeked of concern and regret.

Quickly, I explained, “Oh no! Not at all.  It’s just that I have children and this is something I have to think about. I’ve never lived with anyone before outside of marriage,” I hesitated, “I’m sorry. I don’t mean to worry you.”

Just like night and day, his expression changed. While his face lacked any emotion, his voice was cool and wounded, “I see. Well, Jade, I understand. I need to head home now. It’s late.”

He kissed my cheek and left, just like that. I couldn’t shake the heaviness that weighed on me as if I had done something horribly wrong. But what? I was extremely confused by his erratic behavior.

Making Decisions Without God

A half hour had gone past when the phone finally rang. I was lying in bed, unable to sleep, when the loud ring broke the silence. Quickly, I answered, not wanting to wake the children.

“Hello?”  I said, groggily.

I was surprised to hear HIS voice, Demon, on the other end of the line.

“Look, I’m sorry for the way I acted,” he explained, “but you need to understand something. I’m really falling in love with you! And if you feel even close to the same way I do, you won’t have to think about it.” He sounded as if he was almost angry with me.

Switching ears real quick, I answered, “But I do have feelings for you. What you’re asking me is something that takes a great deal of thought. It’s a big decision.” I couldn’t have been more sincere, although in the back of my mind, I was also afraid of what my family would think of me for doing such a thing, as well as how it would appear to my children.

“Here’s the problem, Jade. Things are going well for us, but my lease is up,” he paused, then corrected, “Okay, basically, I’m getting evicted. I will have to find somewhere else to go, but if I do that, I’m going to have to sign a lease with someone. Let’s say things work out with you and I, which I know they will, and we end up getting really serious. I’ll be stuck in a lease somewhere. Why do that when we can share a place, and share the bills? That just makes the most sense.”

I thought about it, but because I was in love, I couldn’t see the whole truth behind the pressure he was putting me under.

He added, “Of course, if you don’t feel the same way I do, well, then, I can understand all the hesitation you’re displaying.”

I rolled my eyes in frustration, glancing at the stack of bills lying on my dresser. I sighed, “Okay. Okay. Let’s do it.”

I trudged back over to the bed with a sense of relief and conviction at the same time.

“What? Did I hear you right? You’re okay with it?” His entire voice instantly changed.

I glanced up toward the ceiling, then down at my bare feet. “Yes. We’ll try it and see what happens.” My sixth sense told me I was making a huge mistake, but my heart was blinded by emotion.

His smile came through the phone in his voice, “Great! Well, it’s late. I’ll call you tomorrow and we’ll make a plan. Okay?” I agreed.

We were about to hang up when he blurted out, “And one more thing, sweetheart. Just let me breathe you in while I can. However long you stay, is all that I am.” It took me a moment, but then I remembered it was the lyrics to one of the ‘other’ songs we labeled as ours—All The Same.

Before I lay back down, I leaned forward and stole a glance in the mirror, startled by what I saw. For a second, I thought my neck was bleeding, but then realized it was just a spot of red nailpolish that had somehow managed to stain the glass.

Before drifting off to sleep, I whispered, “Dear Father, forgive me, though I know exactly what I do…” Little did I know how much of God’s mercy and forgivness I would end up needing.

Sick Puppies – All The Same

How could he have known in advance that every time I’d try to leave, I would helplessly come back running? Spiritually imprisoned in a seemingly inescapable hell!
