Summer Conventions 2014: Who Qualifies as Earth's Ruler?

This short blog is being written to enhance the truism posted in the picture shown below. The picture is based on a quotation from Ron Paul (and I apologize that I don’t know the name of the person who assembled the graphic. I would like to thank them with due credit.) Ron Paul once said:

For those who are unfamiliar with Congressman Paul’s work and passion, he has written, and spoken, volumes on the subject of out-of-control national debt and the loss of personal liberties that is currently underway in America.

Liberty is the antithesis of Slavery, including Debt Slavery. You might be surprised, but … the very first public speech that Jesus Christ delivered was on the subject of Liberty. That’s right, you read that correctly. Not faith or sin or kindness, but liberty. And here is another secret: The Bible is not a book about Religion. The Bible is a book about Government. It was Christ’s job to “turn the hearts of men” back to remembering the time when God, not Man, was in charge of running the earth as Ruler. Christ’s three-year public preaching campaign was devoted to teaching people that the time for that government, that kingdom, to take charge once again was due to arrive. I will post the words from Christ’s first public appearance down below. But first, as a background to his speech, one needs to be aware of two items that had been all but forgotten in Palestine by the time of Jesus’s arrival on the world scene. 

In Jesus’s speech quoted below, the first thing he specifically mentioned was recognition that his heavenly Father had a personal name and a personal reputation to uphold. By the time Jesus was born, the people had ceased using their heavenly Father’s name in everyday conversation for about 300 years. They were beginning to forget how to even pronounce it correctly.  [ Source: Jewish Encyclopedia ]  How sad that the people had begun to forget the teachings and the customs of their forefathers! Does that sound familiar in our time today?

Secondly, the people were no longer masters of their nation’s finances. Ever since the fall of Solomon’s Temple, the political and financial rulership of the Jews had passed from one empire to the next. Consequently, the Jews no longer held the sovereignty necessary to comply with the one provision of the Law of Moses that would keep the nation free of unpayable debt: the 50-year Jubilee cycle. You see, every 50 years it was the law in Israel that a year of total debt forgiveness would be proclaimed throughout the land. It was a national Financial Reset. Homes that had previously been given up to pay for owners’ debts were restored to the original owners. This event was actually called: a Proclamation of Liberty and Jehovah’s acceptable year. But once the powerful foreigners took control of the nation’s sovereignty and monetary system, the People were technically no longer able to perpetuate their 50-year debt reset cycle. Again, doesn’t that sound ominously familiar in our time? 

With this backdrop in mind, consider the astonishing moment when the newly baptized Jesus Christ stood up in his local synagogue and read aloud from a scroll of the Old Testament book of Isaiah. You can almost hear the deep audible gasp from the audience as he utters the two things that they had not heard for several hundred years: the divine name of their Creator and the proclamation of national debt liberty. This passage is recorded in the Bible at Luke 4:16-21. Dear Reader, many people will read that passage but fail to understand the background of the phrases “proclaim liberty” and “Jehovah’s acceptable year.” But you need not be kept in the dark. Jesus was reminding the oppressed, downtrodden people that their financial misery would be blotted out — and even their illnesses and handicaps would be removed — by a restoration of the sovereignty of their very real heavenly Father.

Jesus then spent the next 3-and-a-half years of his life educating all who would listen about the coming re-establishment of God’s government. And the really good news was that this permanent Jubilee period would not just be enjoyed by the Jews, but by “all nations of the earth.” [Source: Genesis 22:18 ]

Now you and I both know that the Banksters of the world will never let this happen. Therefore, no human-ruled government will ever be able to initiate a permanent Jubilee period for the world. Jesus knew that too. That is why he taught his disciples to pray that their heavenly Father would intercede and not leave the work of governance up to mankind forever. You may have repeated these words yourself many times:

If the idea of living as a citizen under the direct governance of Jesus Christ appeals to you, then you might want to consider attending any one of the dozens of Regional Conventions prepared by Jehovah’s Witnesses earth wide this summer of 2014.  

The overall theme of the convention is “Keep Seeking First God’s Kingdom.” In particular, you will want to attend the public talk on Sunday morning in a city near you, as shown in the handbill pictured below. The title of that talk will be:

“Earth’s New Ruler — Who Really Qualifies?”

By the look of events shaping up in regards to the imminent collapse of the U.S. dollar this summer and the tensions rising between the Declining Anglo-American Empire and the Rising Asian Empire, this convention theme could not be more timely.
