Turkey's Role In Bible Prophecy

There are present tensions on the Syrian and Turkish borders lately. Turkey shot down one of Assad’s planes a few weeks ago and now Syria is bringing up anti-aircraft batteries near its northern border regions to shoot down Turkish planes which may stray into Syria. Two years ago Syria shot down a Turkish jet which ventured into Syrian air space.

Turkish PM Erdogan wants to see Syrian leader Assad’s regime fall from power. Turkey would like to develope a new Ottoman Empire. Sunni Turkey would like to be the leader of the Sunni Arab people’s in Erdogan’s vision of a new Turkish empire. Turkey has a military alliance with the Arabs in northern Sudan. Turkey also has a miltary alliance with Libya. Turkey, Sudan and Libya are all members in the Ezekiel Gog Magog prophecy.

Both Turkish leader PM Erdogan and United States president Obama want to see Assad’s regime end in Syria. Turkey is providing transport for the Sunni Arab Jihadist terrorists to fight Assad and Obama is making sure the rebels are equiped with shoulder rocket lauchers to take out Assad’s helicopters and jet fighters. Turkey also has a military alliance with Azerbaijan and Georgia for Turkey is joining these two nations in their hostility against Armenia.

Will Sunni Turkey achieve its goal in becoming leader over the radical Sunni Arab Jihadist forces? Sunni Turkey’s vision in the creation of the new Ottoman empire will be shattered by Israel one day. Assad’s Damascus regime will be destroyed (Isaiah 17:1) in one night by Israel. (Isaiah 17:14) The Sunni Arab Jihadists living all along Israel’s borders seeing the Arab capital of Damascus destroyed will attack the Jewish nation and suffer massive losses. (Psalms 83:17) Turkey will lose its chance to create a new Ottoman empire, yet Turkey’s hatred for Israel will lead Turkey in a military alliance with Russia as soon as Turkey leaves N.A.T.O. Turkey is already buying weapons from Russia.
