Proof That The Antichrist is NOT a Man
You have probably seen articles stating that Obama is the Antichrist, and before Obama, it was someone else, and before him it was someone else. And you have probably read that the Pope is the False Prophet as well. Well neither of them are because the Antichrist is Not a Man and I can prove that.
In Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation, the beast or Antichrist comes on the scene. First, lets realize that in the first chapter and the last chapter of Revelations, Jesus makes it clear that he sent an angel to show the Apostle John what would take place in the future and that what John saw was accurately recorded. There are no mistakes, it’s exactly as it is written. In fact in Chapter 22, Jesus gives us a stern warning that we are not to add or subtract anything that is written, in other words, don’t make up your own version, believe what was written.
John said “And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion.” This is exactly what John saw. Did you ever see a man that looked like this? Obviously not because it is not a man. That’s why it’s called a beast. And, no it is not a kingdom either. It is a beast or “a very different looking creature.” How do I know that? Because that is what the Bible says it is.
Then John said “One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed.” Have you ever had a “fatal” wound? Of course not, because if you did you would be dead. That is what “fatal” wounds do, they kill you, otherwise they are not “fatal”. But his fatal would was healed. Already he has shown his onlookers that he is far superior to them.
Then John said “The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast.” The Whole World, not just a few people were so impressed with this dude that they followed him. He must have made quite the impression on them, far more than any man could or ever has for which man has ever had the whole world following him?
And then “…they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”” Now they are not only following the beast, they are Worshipping it. Also notice that it is an “it” not a he. And they are still so impressed that they say, “I’ve never seen anything like this” (Who is like the beast) and they say “We are no match for this beast’s powers” (Who can wage war against it). Does this still sound like a man to you?
There is more. “The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months…And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast…” This beast was given authority (by the devil) to rule over the whole earth for 3 ½ years, and the whole world will not only comply, they will even Worship it. This will be their new “god”. Their mighty, powerful, awesome, superior, god. Is this not what the NWO has been wanting to establish for many years now? A one world government. Finally it will happen, but it will not be a government, it will be a dictatorship and this beast will be in charge. Not only has it set up a one world government and religion, but if you read further in Chapter 13 you will see that it will also set up a one world monetary system by forcing everyone to take the mark. And whoever does not worship it or take the mark will be killed. Simple solution, just kill those that don’t comply.
And I will prove it further. This beast is an eternal being. He cannot die or be killed. Even his “fatal wound” was healed. In Chapter 19 when this beast assembles the world’s armies to fight against Jesus who will come back to earth with his saints, the Bible says “Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.” So the beast and the false prophet (who is another beast) are captured and thrown into a lake of fire. The devil is not. He is chained in the Abyss for one thousand years and then he is released. Upon his release, he gathers a large following to make war against God’s people and this is what happens to him. “And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” So the devil is also thrown into this lake of fire where the three of them will spend eternity. But notice this: the first two beasts have already been there for 1,000 years and they are still alive. Why, because they are not men, they are eternal beings which cannot die. This is why the lake of fire (or hell) was created, it’s a prison for the eternal beings (devils, demons, fallen angels, etc) who cannot die or be killed. This is their “jail”. If they were men, they would have died shortly after being thrown into it.
More proof. Regardless of what you have been told or believe, what the Bible teaches that happens to unbelievers when they die is that they “perish”, they Do Not burn in Hell or the lake of fire forever. If you don’t believe me, look up all the scriptures with the word perish in them and you will see that this is true. For example John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” What this means is that those that believe in Jesus get eternal life, they never die anymore, they live forever. But those that do not, perish. What does perish mean? It means to cease to exist, they are destroyed. In other words, this life is all they get. In Chapter 20 when all the unbelievers get to stand before God and have their “day in court” they are thrown into the lake of fire which is called the second death. Because that is exactly what it is….a second death. This is where they perish. This is not my opinion, this is what the Bible teaches.
So the Antichrist and the False Prophet, both of which the Bible calls beasts, simply cannot be men. They are eternal beings which cannot be killed and which have far superior powers to us. This is why we will let them rule over us when we realize that we are no match for them and are powerless to stop them. These beings are from the devil’s kingdom. I have supported Jango on some other comments, but in my opinion he is failing readers on this topic. The Antichrist is spoken of as both a king and his kingdom, the same as Nebuchadnezzar was spoken of as both the King of Babylon and as (the embodiment of) Babylon itself.
The Antichrist will be one individual man, representing the nation of Mystery Babylon. And he is already in power, holding political office now. In 2 years he will announce who he really is from the site of the Temple in Jerusalem.

You say “show me the words “anti-christ” in 2 Thessalonians 2: 3”, as if that is some kind of proof that Paul isn’t talking about the one commonly referred to as the antichrist. You can’t show me the words “false prophet” in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, can you? So then, what is your point? You don’t have one.

He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
Who is “he”? The previous sentence says, “the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.” We can further identify him by the content of vs. 8:
“And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.”
Who is it that Jesus destroys by the breath of his mouth? Rev. 19:19-21 is where Jesus destroys the armies of the Beast with the sword from his mouth, and the Beast AND the False Prophet are thrown alive into the Lake of Fire. This is at his glorious coming to earth at the end of the Tribulation.
Put all that together and it means “the man of lawlessness” is the Beast, the Antichrist, NOT the False Prophet who is not the one that Dan. 9 says will sign and then break the 7-year treaty.
That is some excellent dividing of the Word HumanBeing. But unfortunately, I doubt the infallible logic and plain reading of the Scriptures you have presented will break through the blinders of pride Truthseeker is wearing.

In any case, Part 2 is what I just read, but there is a Part 1 and Part 3.
In Part 1 it says: “The Antichrist will be worse than Hitler. He presently is living in the Middle East. He is at a very crucial time in his life, when impressions will influence his future lifepath. Currently in his realm there is a lot of violence, political maneuvering, and corruption.”
Maybe it’s meant that the Anti-Christ does not live in the Middle East but is instead a follower of its predominant religion, Islam.

That could be its true form or a metaphor for its powers or what it represents. More likely the creature will be like Lucifer himself was described: beautiful and charismatic. I don’t know what book you are quoting from but it’s not the Authorized Version of the Bible. John 3:16 says “only begotten son” not one and only son. I think we can all agree that ( things that are different are not the same. ) Acts 18:26
Read the Greek text. No translation is perfect, nor is the KJV authorized by God but only by an ordinary king… and one who demanded that the translators emphasize “the divine right of kings” at every opportunity.
The Greek for “only begotten” in John 3:16 is “monogenE”, Strong’s 3439, and the most concise meaning is “one of a kind”. Neither “only begotten” nor “one and only” is quite accurate, though acceptable, and both expressions MEAN THE SAME THING. Rather, the Greek text shows that Jesus is unique, which I hope you would agree is the case.
So don’t be one of those rabid KJVOs who divide believers against each other. The identity of the Beast can be argued with any translation.

We’ve been discussing the Greek text of the Bible, the original language of the New Testament. This has nothing to do with translations. The best way to get to the original languages if you don’t read them is to use an interlinear:

The way I see it God has always preserved his word in the most preferred language of different time periods. The 1st. Hebrew, 2nd. Aramaic, 3rd. Greek, 4th. Syriac, 5th. Latin. 6th. German and English 7th. hmmm just happens to be the number of perfection or completeness. Don’t think i need the Greek, the Bible interprets it’s self pretty well. Besides, Jesus didn’t speak in Greek, it was Aramaic so if you are going to use that argument, I got some ocean front property in Arizona I’d like to sell you.

The scriptures themselves never say that God preserves his word in the most preferred language of various times, or that he sanctions certain translations and not others. It is up to us to do research and compare the various manuscripts to get as close as possible to the originals. Having early copies ensures that we don’t fall prey to what is commonly called “the telephone game”, where a message is passed on from one person to the next until the final message is garbled. Rather, we keep anchored to the earliest copies, and we keep studying the ancient languages and cultures and history, to improve our understanding.
Knowing the Greek is vital to understanding what the authors meant, so accurate translations can be made from it. In English, the meanings of many words have completely reversed since the middle ages; for example, “let” used to mean “prevent”.
Jesus likely spoke Aramaic, but his words were recorded in Greek. Your insult is thus only a display of ignorance of the point I was trying to make.

Peter referred to Jerusalem as Babylon. 1st Peter chapter 5.
