The pope, and in fact all popes (and no, Peter was not the first pope) are all servants of Satan, not God Almighty. No clergy and no church are scriptural, and are not supported in the scriptures. Clergy seek to gain glory for themselves, and all glory belongs to God. No one involving himself in politics or in the world is acting scripturally either. Jesus taught against religions and churches and clergy quite a bit. In Paul’s letter to the Christian Congregation (annointed Christians) in Galatia, he said that religions were works of the flesh and kept one from inheriting the Kingdom of the Heavens. So if religions can prevent one of the annointed from heaven, think of what it means for the rest of us who have an Earthly hope of paradise and everlasting life. It would never happen if we involve ourselves with religion.
Saint means holy. The scriptures speak of holy ones, and they are the annointed, part of the 144,000. The only ones to go to heaven. they aren’t made holy after death, like churches pretend to do.
