The root Greek word for “shall be caught up” is “harpazo” <Strongs’s concordance #726> and means “to seize, catch up, carry off by force, snatch out or away” which is pretty much the same meaning as “rapiemur” (Rapture).
A Rapture must happen to “transcend” those of the world who have not died, from their flesh and bone vessels to a body which could adapt to a new dimension. This body is incorruptible and eternal; basically, Adam’s body before his fall.

A clean soul is “rapture ready” but it will not occur until just before the total annhilation of the earth, which is its purpose, ie. to save the remnant who have a clean heart and soul for a new life on a new earth.

Final destruction of the planet??? When The entire WORD of GOD is about Jesus Christ bringing the KINGDOM to earth and ruling for 1000 years and the Saints of God will be the kings and priests ruling under Christ here on earth!

If the Saints of God must be snatched to the third heaven to keep them alive then please tell us how “The meek shall inherit the earth”?
Another point, as Paul states – at the resurrection our mortal bodies are transformed from corruptible to incorruptible meaning to SPIRIT – immortal spirit. Immortal spirit can not die thus could not be harmed even IF – IF – earth was to be destroyed which it is not.
The rapture is a false teaching of Satan and the message from Satan is that God’s hand is now shortened and He can not protect HIS own here on earth any longer. That is a lie!

These folks are talking about being “rapture ready” How does that mesh with “enduring all things unto the end”? or growing in kindness and knowledge? or moving towards the perfection that is in Christ?

Is a rapture THE END? Does it occur at the Last Trump? Why are you being spared from enduring? Because you showed up on Sunday and pitched money in the plate?

Why does this not say those in heaven will God send with Jesus? Those that are asleep are the dead! God the Father is sending those that were dead with Christ to this earth. Can you not remember the so called LORD’s prayer? “Thy Kingdom Come” Christ is bring the kingdom of God the Government of God TO THIS EARTH, that is why He is returning.
There is available 30 pages of scripture that completely show the rapture to be another con job of Satan. But no one will read it — they know God wants to keep their physical bodies from harm because THEY have endured all the good times and now the bad times are coming and They are more righteous then the other so called christians.
War, battle, struggle and adversity is always a trial/tribulation, after victory or change for the better comes elation and ecstasy/rapture.
I really don’t get why Christians struggle to understand their own book, it’s not like it’s rocket science. They always twist it into something it’s not.

Actually, there are NO scriptures on hell. In 325 a.d. when Constantine ordered the creation of his “state” religion called the Roman church, and 75 years later it became the Roman Catholic church, he had the Nicean council create a bible that was half pagan and half Christian. That is the first time that the word hell was put into the bible. That was almost 300 years after Christ’s death. Thousands of years after the first 5 books were written. Therefore, all bibles with the word hell in it, or cross, or referencing an immortal soul or referencing a cross are half pagan half Christian. KJV is a DIRECT descendant of the Constantine bible. Realize that Satan brought religion to Earth in the Garden in Eden. No religion existed before that. All religion after that was Satanically inspired. ALL religion. Since all religions claiming to be Christian (they are called Christendom, the world empire of false religion) use a false translation descending from Constantine’s bible, they are all full of lies. Religions, all of them, are mostly lies. None of the original scrolls from which the real Bible came from ever used a word that could be translated into hell, ghost, cross, or contained any references to trinity or immortal soul. In Revelation to John there is a warning to “get out of her” (Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion) unless you want to share in her plagues and punishments. The choice is yours. God has a history of taking his people out from before the destruction. Genesis 19 God takes Lot from Sodom before destroying it. There are other instances of The Bible where this is true.
The ideais to build a relationship with God and understand His ways. That is why I know the Rapture is Fact, coupled with scripture of course.

In 1 Thess 4: 17 where does it say “and then Christ takes the Saints “back up” to the third heaven”?
Verse 16 says the Lord shall descend FROM heaven: this is the return of Christ as King of kings to rule earth and the resurrected Saints of God rise to meet Christ in the clouds which is our lower atmosphere – the air and then Zechariah 14: 4, 5 tell us where Christ and His kings and priests land on earth.
Miggy the whole concept of the rapture that was concocted by Satan is that God’s arm is now shortened and He MUST take His Saints to heaven to protect them —God can no longer protect His OWN here on earth??? Really???
In the old times —before Satan got more powerful is Satan’s point – God could protect Daniel in the lions den and Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego in the furnace — but not now!! Satan is a real power now!
The truth is once the Saints of God are resurrected and changed from corruptible to incorruptible which means to immortal Spirit they can no longer die —-they can stand in the middle of an atomic blast and it has no effect they can travel through our sun, the physical will have no effect upon them.

You are again spouting the teachings of man, not of God. The scriptural letters comprising the Christian Greek scriptures are written by, and addressed to THE ANNOINTED 144,000 only. They will go to heaven before the final battle. ONLY them and no one else goes to heaven ever. So the Lord is not coming back, his kingdom remains in the clouds? In which case you wouldn’t survive long, the cold alone would freeze you death in an hour or so even if there was oxygen to breath. Better go to work dressed like an Inuit on a polar bear hunt pulling a sled with an oxygen supply, if you want to survive your new high altitude existence… I’d still only give you 2 hours… till the oxygen tank runs out. But perhaps that’s what it means, you’ll all be dead and everyone else will be in rapture because no more odiously arrogant dark ageisms politically spun as truth.

It surprises me some of these posts, no personal offence of course. If you recognize there is Satan than you must recognize there is a God. You cannot have it both ways. If you recognize there is a God than you recognize God controls everything. Do you really think that God is going to let His name and Scripture be twisted by Satan to the point of non-relevant? I don’t think so.

Satan is the god of the world, he controls all governments, religions and everything, when he offer them to Christ, Christ did not say “they are not your to give”.
Satan has the entire world confounded and confused and you have seen nothing as yet. Beginning very soon God will turn his back to the entire world and turn it completely over the Satan. The only ones God will hear are His begotten sons, His Saints.
When Satan is just about to destroy mankind off this world God by the 6th Seal stops this from happening.
The 6th Seal is the heavenly signs where God shakes the heavens, plural, and the earth and then the 7th Seal is the Day of the Lord and the Wrath of God upon the Gentiles.
Jesus Christ expect much more then just belief, why do you think He say “Why say you LORD LORD and do not the things that I say?” Christ want obedience.
What makes you think that to be saved, one must go to heaven? That’s insane. Are you forgetting the promise of everlasting life in a paradise Earth as spoken of in Revelation to John, and in many other letters in the scriptures? The annointed 144,000 are to be co-rulers with the Christ, and they will replace ALL human government, and will eliminate ALL religion and religionists on Earth, forever. The annointed and their associates are the only ones to be protected during the tribulation and final battle. You seem also to forget the resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. Those destroyed during the tribulation and final battle, however, will not be resurrected. They will die as a judgement of God and His son, Jesus.
