PART 2

Current Jewish thought and writings, including the Kabbala, have altered since the first century and claim that the Jews themselves are the messiah.  This modern Jewish idea may be part or all of the mechanism behind the “new world order” which is equivalent to a one-world government.  Whatever happens in the near future, it is Biblically certain that the antichrist will be pivotal in its final creation. 

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.  (Daniel 7:23-25 KJV)

When the AC starts his campaign and confirms the covenant with the many, the Jews will return to the original messianic idea.

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week:   (Daniel 9:27 KJV)

Secondly he will conquer countries surrounding Israel that are considered  enemies of Israel.  The Jews believe in a military messiah that will lead them to victory.  This will facilitate expanding Israel’s land mass to approximate the kingdom area during the reign of David.  The followers of Jesus were looking for a conquering hero to rid themselves of the Romans, return Israel to its former kingdom design, and extend their land mass to the equivalent of the kingdom of David and Solomon.  The antichrist will attempt to approach similar expectations for the nation of Israel.

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. (Daniel 11:40-44 KJV)

Daniel chapter 11 relates that he will conquer in the North and in the South. It says that he will enter Israel but whether he actually conquers Israel or just passes through is uncertain. Several commentators say the antichrist will attack Israel, but there is nothing in the above scripture which indicates this.  He may possibly enter Israel to eliminate nearby enemies by securing the Gaza strip, the Golan area, and east Jerusalem.

Some areas such as Edom, Moab, and Ammon will momentarily elude him. These countries could possibly be the areas of escape for those Israelites fleeing the destruction of Jerusalem.  It is my belief that “mystery Babylon” is Jerusalem during the last days under the dominion of the antichrist.  People currently searching for mystery Babylon are looking at the world of today and not the world as it will be when the antichrist (or his one-world predecessors) has turned it upside down.  Before God’s destruction of ‘mystery Babylon, the following warning is given.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.  (Revelation 18:4 KJV)

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:   (Matthew 24:16 KJV)

My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.  (Jeremiah 51:45 KJV)

He will conquer and plunder Egypt, Libya, and Ethiopia, but news from the East causes him to go that direction and destroy many areas (currently unknown).  Daniel 11:45 states that he will set up his headquarters around Jerusalem in or close to the Mount of Olives.

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas (Mediterranean and Dead sea) in the glorious holy mountain; (Daniel 11:45 KJV)
