The Tomb of Nimrod - For Wherever The Carcass Is

For Wherever The Carcass Is

Anyone with an interest in end times Bible prophecy is undoubtedly familiar with Matthew chapter 24.  End times commentary doesn’t get any better than the descriptive words of Jesus Himself.  The chapter begins with the disciples coming up to Jesus to show Him the temple buildings and he saying, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”  This comment apparently piqued their curiosity and compelled them to ask, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Actually, the disciples asked Jesus three questions:  1) When will the temple be destroyed?  2) What will be the sign of your future visible return?  3) What signs will signal the end of the world?

Jesus proceeds to give them a warning concerning the coming deception of many false Christs and then a panorama of wars, natural disasters, false prophets, hatred of the world, and then the sign of the abomination of desolation.  Many books have been written concerning this chapter and it is not my intention to duplicate it here.  My focus will be on verses 23-28

In verses 23-25 Jesus again warns them of false Christs and false prophets who appear to be powerful in their deceptions.  Powerful, even to the point of deceiving the elect if that were possible.  There will be coming some extraordinary displays of deception.  What?  Although I have some opinions, I am not certain, but be prepared because it most likely will be jaw dropping and heart stopping.  In verse 25 Jesus tells the disciples that they should mark His words because He has told them in advance.

Mat 24:23-25  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  (24)  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  (25)  Behold, I have told you before.

In the world of Biblical eschatology, there seems to be a growing convergence of opinions that Nimrod was the original antichrist type and that he will, in some manner, be resurrected or cloned as the final antichrist.  In the early post-diluvian world, Nimrod was the first dictator.  Everyone spoke the same language and Nimrod had collected practically everyone in the world at that time in the plain of Shinar around a city known as Babylon.  Nimrod then initiated construction on a tower that was to be a star gate that would allow humanity to either enter the realm of God or to recapture the lost knowledge of the pre-flood civilization.

Whatever the non-speculative reason actually was, God put a halt to the process by changing the common language into 70 different languages.  He placed an angelic entity over each of the 70 groups and separated them around the planet (or land mass if there was only one at the time).

Deuteronomy 32:8  When the Most High divided the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God. LXX (Septuagint)

When the 70 linguistic groups separated they carried the narrative of Nimrod with them, however, with different languages came different names.  It is suspected that Nimrod is known by a variety of different names around the world.  Some of these include:  Gilgamesh, Baal, Melqart, Adonis, Eshmun, Dumuzi, Dionysus, Bacchus, Orion, Mithra, Apollo ,Ra, Tammuz, and Osiris.

The tomb of Gilgamesh was announced as found in 2003 in the location as described in the Epic of Gilgamesh.  One month later, the American military entered Iraq under the pretext of finding weapons of mass destruction during Desert Storm and supposedly raided the tomb as well as several museums.

BBC) — Archaeologists in Iraq believe they may have found the lost tomb of King Gilgamesh – the subject of the oldest “book” in history. The Epic Of Gilgamesh – written by a Middle Eastern scholar 2,500 years before the birth of Christ – commemorated the life of the ruler of the city of Uruk, from which Iraq gets its name.

Now, a German-led expedition has discovered what is thought to be the entire city of Uruk – including, where the Euphrates once flowed, the last resting place of its famous King.  “I don’t want to say definitely it was the grave of King Gilgamesh, but it looks very similar to that described in the epic,” Jorg Fassbinder, of the Bavarian department of Historical Monuments in Munich, told the BBC World Service’s Science in Action program.

In the book – actually a set of inscribed clay tablets – Gilgamesh was described as having been buried under the Euphrates, in a tomb apparently constructed when the waters of the ancient river parted following his death.  “We found just outside the city an area in the middle of the former Euphrates river¿ the remains of such a building which could be interpreted as a burial,” Mr Fassbinder said.  He said the amazing discovery of the ancient city under the Iraqi desert had been made possible by modern technology.

“By differences in magnetisation in the soil, you can look into the ground,” Mr Fassbinder added.  “The difference between mudbricks and sediments in the Euphrates river gives a very detailed structure.”  This creates a magnetogram, which is then digitally mapped, effectively giving a town plan of Uruk.

“The most surprising thing was that we found structures already described by Gilgamesh,” Mr Fassbinder stated.  “We covered more than 100 hectares. We have found garden structures and field structures as described in the epic, and we found Babylonian houses.”  But he said the most astonishing find was an incredibly sophisticated system of canals.  “Very clearly, we can see in the canals some structures showing that flooding destroyed some houses, which means it was a highly developed system.  “[It was] like Venice in the desert.”

In 1999, Zahi Hawass, the current Secretary General of Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities, claimed to have found the burial tomb of Osiris below the Giza Plateau. It has been said that a joint team of Egyptian and US military is currently guarding and protecting the site from outsiders.

From:  praylu.blogspot.com  Now we arrive to the incriminating details involving the discovery of the Tomb of Osiris:
Several artifacts were reportedly found about the chamber, but a list was never released to the public. Later, in an interview with the British newspaper The Guardian, Hawass said that the artifacts retrieved dated the lower tomb, the so-called Osiris tomb, to the New Kingdom, around 1550 BC. Then a report released in 2003 by the Egyptian Antiquities Authority stated that the tunnels leading away from the tomb actually went nowhere, a view that was challenged by a group of Egyptologists in the September/October 2000 issue of Archaeology magazine. Surprisingly, neither Hawass nor any of his associates have ever responded to the charges that the tunnels do indeed proceed farther along under the Giza plateau, a silence that was very much out of character. Additionally, during the dig, it was rumored that the Giza plateau was closed to the public, guarded by both U.S. and Egyptian military units. Why were the U.S. and Egyptian armies placed on high alert while this excavation was going on? Surely, they were not mobilized just to deter thieves from raiding the tomb. This was an unprecedented move, for never before were American and Egyptian armies mobilized to protect an archaeological excavation, which suggests that more is going on here than the Egyptian authorities are willing to admit. Thus far, no outside entities, including historians and archaeologists, have been permitted to inspect the Osiris tomb, the Egyptian authorities citing that the Osiris tomb was “closed due to dangerous instabilities in the chamber ceiling” or high water levels, a move that supports the idea that there is something unusual about this tomb that Hawass wants to keep secret.

This is what Hawass had to say regarding the Tomb of Osiris:

“I have found a shaft, going 29 meters [95 feet, approximately] vertically down into the ground, exactly halfway between the Chefren Pyramid and the Sphinx. At the bottom, which was filled with water, we have found a burial chamber with four pillars. In the middle is a large granite sarcophagus which I expect to be the grave of Osiris, the god,”
—ZAHI HAWASS, (Directed of the Giza Plateau, Egyptologist), In newspaper Extra Bladet (Copenhagen), January 31, 1999, “Sandpit Of Royalty”, By Dorte Quist
This was during the the March 2nd 1999, FOX Network broadcast:
Hawass: “…I discovered that this is what Herodotus talked about, and I found that this is the ‘Tomb of Osiris’. let’s go and see what we’re talking about.”
ZH: “Suzy, this is the ‘Tomb of Osiris’.”

Now back to Matthew chapter 24.  In verse 26 Jesus says, “If someone says that the Christ is in the desert, don’t go” which happens to be where the tomb of Gilgamesh is located.  Next He says, “If someone says that the Christ is in the secret chambers, don’t believe it” which happens to be where the tomb of Osiris is located.  Mat 24:26  Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

Then Jesus explains that He will appear suddenly, in the sky, from the east to the west.  Mat 24:27  For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

After this, in verse 28, Jesus makes a statement that has baffled commentators since He originally spoke the words.  “For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.”  Some have said that Jesus must have meant vultures rather than eagles because eagles do not eat carrion.  However, maybe the Son of God meant exactly what He said.  Wherever the corpse of Nimrod may be found the US military (eagles) will be guarding it.

This is a good article, Ephriam. Nice catch on the Septuagint verse (Deuteronomy 32:8). I doubted the wording of your quote, so I checked the Brenton LXX into English version. Verbatim.

And while there is very little wiggle room vis-à-vis Messiah’s meaning in Matthew 24:28, so that ‘eagles’ should in fact be the preferred rendering, to suggest that the eagle as a symbol should be thought of as uniquely tied to the US Military isn’t really fair. The eagle finds its scowling beak all over European (most notably German) and Russian governmental regalia as well as US. How many eagles are we really talking about centered around a tomb – no matter how ‘important’ the tomb? I look for a broader and immensely more recognizable fulfillment of Messiah’s words regarding eagles and the carcass. I think we’ll know it when we see it, and I think it will be a bit further to the North when it happens.

But with respect to ‘interest’ in gravesites, not to mention emerging ‘resurrection’ (cloning) and ‘stargate’ (CERN) technologies, I think there is meat on the bone whenever Nimrod/Osiris returning is on the menu. The Ancient Mysteries seem to foreshadow it. The Epic of Gilgamesh seems to foreshadow it. The narrative of the global power elite seems to hint at it, regularly – in their enigmatic speeches and in much of the ‘fine art’ they fawn over.

“And the Beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven…”

That could be read to make Nimrod the first king (13th in genealogical line from Adam) and the LAST king – last before the return of the KING OF KINGS, that is.

Who is this Once and Future King? The Arthurian mythos seems to foreshadow it as well.

“Who is this Once and Future King? The Arthurian mythos seems to foreshadow it as well.”

Iran ancient Persia. This is going to stretch you, but bear with me, you’ll see him with your own eyes. If you have an atlas good, if not use Google Earth. Turn the world on it’s side so that West is pointing North and look at the middle east region. You will see Hercules pushing his two pillars apart, with one hand on Europe and the other on Africa. Arabia is his cloak, Turkey is his head, the region where the garden of eden is claimed to have been, is his heart. Iran is the main body going down to India for the legs and feet. He even has a crown, is holding a chalice and has a thorn poking in his side from Arabia.

The reason why I say it’s Iran rather than all is because all used to belong to ancient Persia. It’s a cyclical thing, when we are in an ice age, Persia and the whole region blossoms into a paradise.

I agree with you about the military eagle statement. Even the Roman army that sacked Jerusalem in 70 AD used an eagle emblem and some Jewish Christians at the time commented on it as well (or at least that is what I have read).
The articles I read about the two grave sites mentioned US Military, thus they were included in the article.

This is largely compatible with lectures by Dr. Michael Heiser, an expert in Hebrew.

Perhaps the eagles that are gathered around the carcase are the angels spoken of in verse 31 that are responding to the deaths of Christians and Christianity.
Jesus returns as the Son of man to stop the slaughter and save the Christians still alive on earth during the doom of World War 3.

A possible understanding of Matthew 24 verse 26 is as follows. Christ will not be found standing on earth. He will not be in areas of war conflict represented by the desert. He will not be found in secret chambers, the war council rooms of the leaders of the nations.
One must look up to see Christ coming. The Son of man will attack from above and put a final end to World War 3.
