Behold the Time to Believe!

A complete human person consists of body, mind and soul. God created human beings to be complete persons like this. The Will of God the Creator is that His children should live with Him as holy and imperishable for ever. But, the children of God committed sin and became subject to sin, death and decay. However, God gave them the promise that He will deliver them from the slavery of decay and give them Eternal Life. The Word of God testifies that the true children of God are those who were given this promise and accept it (Gal. 3:7-14, Rom. 9:8).

Eternal Life is the life that remains for ever. This means, Eternal Life is the life that exists in a person who has become immortal and imperishable! Life is in the blood and Blood can remain only with in the body (Lev. 17:11). Then it is clear that only a body that is not subject to death and decay can have Eternal Life (1 Cor. 15:50). True children of God are those who groan inwardly for the redemption of the body from decay (Rom. 8:18-24).

All the Patriarchs, Prophets, Apostles and believers longed for Eternal Life. But the Word of God testifies that so far none of them have received an imperishable body that could contain Eternal Life (Heb. 11:39-40, Rom. 7:16-25).

When will the Children of God receive the promised Eternal Life? God the Creator of all, has given a testimony regarding this: The Eternal Life that He has promised His Children is in His Son; whoever has the Son has Eternal Life; whoever does not have the Son of God has no Eternal Life in him (1 Jn. 2:25, 1 Jn. 5:10-12).
But Jesus Christ did not give Eternal Life to anyone in his First Coming, 2000 years ago. The Bible testifies that the Son of God transfigures the body of the Children of God that has decay in it, into an imperishable body when he comes from Heaven again (Heb. 9:27-28, Phil. 3:20-21). It is through bodily resurrection and transfiguration that the Son of God gives this imperishable body to human beings (1 Cor. 15:51-55).

Will the Son of God give Eternal Life to all? No. The Word of God makes it clear that the Son of God will give Eternal Life only to those who receive him as their Saviour, King, Bridegroom, Priest and God, believe in his eternal Name and wait for him fully prepared (Jn. 1:12, Jn. 3:16, Heb. 9:28). The Name in which we must believe now to get Eternal Life is not the Name that he received 2000 years ago, but the Name that he receives in his Second Coming (Rev. 3:12).

All the righteous ones from Abraham, all the prophets from Moses and all the apostles from Simon Peter believed that the Son of God will come in glory as the King (Jn. 8:56, Jn. 5:45-46, 2, Pet. 1:16-19). But we have already seen that they are yet to receive Eternal Life (Heb. 11:39-40). So what kind of faith in the Son of God is required in order to get Eternal Life from him?

We know that once a person is seen as he really is, there is no need of faith that he exists (Rom. 8:23-25). That is why the Bible defines faith as the assurance of things hoped for and the conviction of things not seen (Heb. 11:1). But we have already seen that Eternal Life is for those who believe in the Son of God (Jn. 3:16).

Most people think that once Jesus Christ reveals himself as coming in clouds they can and will believe in him. But the Word of God warns that they will not be able to do so then. The Bible is very categorical in stating that when the Son of God reveals himself as the Judge, the inhabitants of this earth will not have the opportunity to repent or to believe. On the other hand all people will weep and wail (Lk. 21:25-27).

So, in order to get Eternal Life one must believe in the Son of God before he reveals himself and without seeing him. What is it that one must believe: The Son of God has come again in flesh and his Name is Emmanuel and he will give me Eternal Life.

If one is to believe in Jesus Christ before his glorious manifestation, someone must preach authoritatively that the Son of God has come again in flesh, because faith comes from hearing (Rom. 10:14-17). This proclamation is the Good News. The Good News is the proclamation that Jesus Christ has come again in flesh and he is going to manifest in glory as the Saviour and Judge and he will rule all peoples with an iron rod (Is. 52:7-9, Is. 40:9-10). It has been written in the Prophetic Writings millennia ago that such a Good News will be preached in the End Times.

Jesus Christ declared that those who believe in him without seeing him are the most blessed (Jn. 20:29). Jesus Christ made this declaration about those who would believe in him in his Second Coming without seeing him, but by listening to the Good News that he has come again in flesh. It is quite reasonable that a blessing that no one has received until now – Eternal Life – can be given only to those who are more blessed than all who lived until now.

Behold, the Good News of Eternal Life is being preached now!
