Most scholars, theologians, pastors, and teachers interpret Daniel 8:22 to be about Alexander the Great and his four generals: Cassandra, Lysimachus, Ptolemy, and Seleucid; including those other kingdoms from Daniel 2: Babylon, Media/Persia, and Rome. Indeed this verse is about Greece, but as we shall see, these other kingdoms has nothing to do with those kingdoms from Daniel 2, as most churches postulate.
The verse reads: ”Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power” (Dan. 8:22).
Where it says, “Now that being broken,” this is referring to Alexander the Great and his four generals (which stood up for Greece), that are removed (broken), which then, “four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation.” The word for “up” is amad, which means to tarry, abide, stay put, establish, build, continue, etc. Next, the verse says, “but not in his power.” The word “his” refers to “the nation,” and, “not in his power” means, not by conquest. In other words, these “four kingdoms” come not by conquest, which eliminates those kingdoms to refer to Babylon, Media/Persia, Greece, and Rome, for they came by conquest. And since these “four kingdoms” come not by conquest, yet they abide, stay put, establish, build, and continue, then what else could these “four kingdoms” refer to except to four eras that build upon one another to establish the nation, for they come not by conquest, which in this context refers to the last kingdom on the image from Daniel 2, which reveals not four, but seven kingdoms, that during “the latter times of their kingdom (the seventh kingdom, the U.S.), a king of fierce countenance (dictatorship-like), and understanding dark sentences (duplicitous in speech), shall stand up” (Dan. 8:23).
The image from Daniel 2 reveals those seven kingdoms after the Flood: Egypt, Babylon (who conquered Egypt; Ezek. 29:19), Media/Persia, Greece, Rome, Divided Rome, and the seventh kingdom, the United States of America.
The image from Daniel 2 reveals that seven kingdoms would be given world dominion in their times, respectively.
The seventh kingdom, the U.S.A. (which consist of four eras) was foretold to be the last kingdom before that Antichrist kingdom. Upon reading Daniel 7-8, we come to learn the four beasts refer to eras, which are noun used as adjectives. I won’t take the time here to prove this out, as it would be too time consuming, even though I can, but these kingdoms (eras), which are four, including their span, are:
1st Era: 1789-1913; 2nd Era: 1913-1933; 3rd Era: 1933-1953; 4th Era: 1953-2009.
In Daniel 7 we’re told the 4th Era would have ten kings (vs. 7, 24) that rule or govern the nation (U.S.), which are: 1) Eisenhower; 2) JFK; 3) LBJ; 4) Nixon; 5) Ford; 6) Carter; 7) Reagan; 8) Bush Sr.; 9) Clinton; 10) Bush Jr coming out of WWII under the Roosevelt Administration, which Truman succeeded, who was of his administration, who ordered to drop the bomb, which catapulted the U.S. to become a beast; and dominion was give to it (3rd Era; vs. 6). Then we’re told the one to succeed the tenth king of the 4th Era would be the “little horn” (an ignoble inexperience leader) who comes out of the 4th Era, which is identified as Obama (vs. 8, 20).
A huge misconception with most of the church is made in thinking the “little horn” is the Antichrist, but he is not. Rather the “little horn” (an ignoble inexperience leader; that man of sin, the son of perdition; Obama) works in concert with Islam that gives the U.S. over to Islam, which possesses it after it receives a “mortal head wound” (economic collapse?), which is how the U.S. (beast) is healed (Rev. 13:3).
I could continue, but won’t due to time, but I’m confident to say that after my studies (with the Holy Spirit’s help) that Obama will retain the Office. To retain the Office means he’s not reelected, as in a third term, but continues via some kind of crisis that allows him to continue during and after his second term, which means the 2016 Presidential Elections will be canceled for one reason or another, which crisis should bring in martial law.
Scripture reveals Obama will continue to reign for another 1/2 term (2 yrs), as per Dan. 7:25, which brings us to 2019, as his second term ends on Jan. 20, 2017.
We need to understand that we are living in “the latter days” on “the latter times timeline.” With that said, now let us read:
“When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto His voice;” (Deut. 4:30).
The tribulation or great tribulation is not a seven year period of time; rather it refers to a moment in time, during the latter days, that refers to when the Two Witnesses are killed. The Two Witnesses are not Elijah, Moses, Enoch, or John the Revelator; rather the Two Witnesses are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth (Rev. 11:4). There are 1) national Israel (144, 000) during the latter days, and 2) the “corporate church” that consist of Jews and Gentiles that come to repentance from believing another gospel to receive the love of the truth, which are then known as the Church of Smyrna. These Two go forth into the world being His witness who are then killed after their testimony (Rev. 11:7). The ones that redeem the 144, 000 are the first fruits unto God, and to the Lamb, which are the few, Philadelphia, the faithful that have and do His gospel, who are kept from the hour of temptation (Rev. 3:10; 14:3-4).
Philadelphia are the ones from the last days timeline carried over that are alive and remain during the latter times timeline; being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb (14:4). After the Two Witnesses are killed, 3 1/2 days later the Spirit of God enters into them, and they stand on their feet, which then they here, “Come up here!” (Rev. 11:12). This is the time of Rapture. Thus, this is how 1 Thess. 4: 16-17 should be interpreted:
“For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ [Two Witnesses] shall rise first: then we [Philadelphia] which are alive and remain [from last days timeline] shall be caught up together with them [Two Witnesses] in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thess. 4:16-17).
The biblical timing of Rapture is: post-trib-pre-wrath: after “that tribulation,” but prior to His wrath.
(Romans 13:11) “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”
(2 Peter 1:10) “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:”r
God is: The Father, The Son (Jesus Christ), and The Holy Spirit…….the Big Three!!!
