when a critic says there are “thousands” of anything in the bible, he is probably talking about spelling variations among the different ancient documents & fragments….remember that the dictionary with standardized spellings was not invented until the 18th century….
What contradictions? There is an answer for every objectionable “contradiction” critics like to cite. You didn’t bother to give any examples.
Factual incorrect information? Hmmm…as time and archaeology move on, the incorrect pieces of information keep going away…recent examples: liberal critics said that the 10 cities on the east of lake Galilee were fictional, since no ruins have ever been found….reality: after the prolonged droughts of the last 10 years, the lake level dropped enough to reveal 10 small ports and stone docks right where they were supposed to be, the Decapolis….another recent example: liberal critics say that the house of David is a fiction like the King Arthur tales since no evidence has ever been found…reality: a pottery piece that mentions king David’s house was found a few years ago (http://www.biblehistory.net/newsletter/king_david.htm)
another liberal criticism: 100 years ago, liberals laughed at the conservative’s interpretation of what happens to the two witnesses. The scripture says that “all the world will watch their bodies lie unburied for three days” (Rev 11:9-10) “Right”, they say, “Sure, the whole world will take a boat trip to Jerusalem and be there on exactly the three days this happens”, the critics said…..reality: the critics stopped making that objection after satellite TV was invented.

*only its form can be altered* – the Big Bang cannot have been the point of creation, only a point of “alteration of form” in accordance with UNIVERSAL LAW and there is ZERO evidence to the contrary
*the universe was not created, but has always existed* – there can be no creator, for that which was not created

prophecy is best interpreted AFTER the events referred to have happened. Let God do the interpreting. All else is mere speculation. Wait and see….more prophecies have been fulfilled since 1948 than have been since the events surrounding the death, burial, & resurrection of Christ.
p.s….Erdogan is the antichrist. He has put together a coalition of 57 muslim nations that are unified in their opposition to Israel. If you add up the total number of people in the militaries of these nations plus all their reservists, it adds up to the army of 200 million that Revelation speaks about (Rev 9:16)….It’s getting scary, folks. One more difficult to interpret and understand prophecy has been clarified.
