The Changing Picture of the Catholic Church in Bible Prophecy
As today’s headlines ask, “Is the Pope a Catholic?” readers may wonder what the future holds. When asked about the end of the world, Christ said to understand Daniel’s book.
In Daniel’s 7th chapter, the kingdoms of this world were depicted as fierce beasts of prey. Historians say the lion, bear, leopard and dragon fit the kingdoms of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Grecia and Rome. Only God could foresee the future with such an accurate picture for now..
Out of the 4th beast (Rome) grew a little horn that became great. It spoke great words, changed times and laws and was a persecuting power, Dan 7:25. The Protestant reformers believed that this horn, growing out of the Roman Empire represented the papacy.
The ‘great words’ include one of the pope’s titles, “Lord God the Pope.” Pope Gregory gave the Gregorian Calendar which changed the lunar calendar given in Exodus 12 to one where the new month has no relationship to the new moon.
The papacy also claims the authority to change the 10 Commandments. The catechism eliminates the 2nd Commandment that forbids images, Exodus 20–the church is full of them. Rome also changed the Sabbath to Sunday and abolished the biblical feasts that God said were forever in Leviticus 23. Historians also say 50-100 million died by Romish decrees.
None of this condemns Catholic Christians who live the best they know. The Bible says that God winks in a time of ignorance, Acts 17:30,31, but He commands repentance in a time of judgment (like we may be coming to, as Revelation 13 suggests…
The three major players in the end-times are the sea beast, land beast and image beast in Revelation 13. Early Americans generally believed the sea beast represented the Old World Order (papacy) that they fled for freedom in the New World. Having survived the beasts in Daniel 7, the papacy is seen as an amalgamation of them–mouth like a lion, feet like a bear, looks like a leopard and has the total of 7 heads and 10 horns from Daniel 7. The papacy is the sea beast because the waters represent nations, multitudes of the Old World, Rev 17:15.
The 2nd beast (Rev 13:11) emerges from land–unpopulated area–the New World. Its two horns have no crowns as the previous beast–a government without a king and a church without a pope–Protestant America. It brings fire from heaven (Hiroshima) and causes the world to make an image–a look-alike to the previous papal beast. New World Order will look like the Old World Order for its use of force to compel false worship.
The similarity of New World Order to the papacy is supported by so many Catholic nations in the UN. The identifying number, 666, is the summation of the pope’s title, Vicarius Filii Dei–Vicar of the Son of God. The Roman numerals total 666 (u is counted as 5 like v) Google.
In Revelation 17, the church is depicted as a harlot, riding the beast of New World Order and numerous clues only fit the papacy–involved with kings, wealthy, scarlet–color of cardinals, drunken with the blood of saints (satanic rituals in the Vatican) sitting on 7 hills (Rome). In Revelation 18, there’s a call to come out of her to avoid the plagues. Serious times coming.

That has never been used by Catholics. It was started by either a jew or a protestant.

Images are forbidden in the first Commandment.

198. What is the first commandment of God?

Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday and the Father sent the Holy Ghost upon the Apostles on a Sunday. So, God changed it.

Again, the old law is over. Fulfilled by Christ. We are under the New Law, which is Catholicism.

Your interpretation of the book of the Apocalypse is funny. Lets look at what St. Peter, the first Pope, says about this.
2 Peter 1:20 “Understanding this first, that no prophecy of scripture is made by private interpretation.”

Your statements deserve an answer from Scripture that you and other Catholics claim to follow, but after many church councils have debated and changed them to be seen from a human perspective [‘eyes of a man,’ Dan 7:8] I will stop at 10 points
#1. The ‘little horn’ in Daniel 7 grew out of the Roman Empire and the description in every way fits the Roman Catholic Church. The three horns plucked up by the little horn were three Arian kings that did not accept the Triinity view taught by the church, but a homosexual godhead, all male and of the same substance denies the biblical description. St. Paul wrote that whatever may be known of God, may be understood from the things that are made, even His Godhead–this was especially written for the church at Rome , Romans 1:20. #2. Christ did not start the Catholic Church and His statement to Peter is misunderstood by a corrupt priesthood that want to believe Peter was the first pope. When Cornelius fell at Peter’s feet to worship him (give him worth), Peter said, Get up, for I am a man like you, Acts 10:25,26. Why does the pope accept men bowing to him the title, Lord God the Pope is in Roman Canon Law, 1685. This damnable lie breaks the 1st Commandment not to have any other gods, Exodus 20:3..
Peter was married, Matthew 8:14. If priests were married, they would not be raping nuns, burying the infants in Ireland (mass grave discovered) or raping other men as a former priest told me 40 years ago was widespread in the priesthood. Well does Revelation 17 describe the church as a Mother of Abominations, verse 5.
#3. You say, The old law is over. Christ say, “Till heaven and earth pass, not one jot or tittle shall pass from the law till all be fulfilled.” Matthew 5:18. Christ fulfilled the animal sacrifices so that we do not need to confess our sins on a lamb and take its life–we realize Christ was the Lamb, and “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,” 1John 1:9.
But if this is perverted (like most of the church teachings) to pay a priest to confess and the death of Christ means nothing to those who continue in sin and payments, a damnable heresy.
#4. You say, Images are forbidden in the first Commandment, but you quote the Baltimore Catchism. Your Catholic Bible could show you how men have changed it by comparing Exodus 20:4-6 with what the catechism says (and then excuses)
#5. You say, Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday and the Father sent the Holy Ghost upon the Apostles on a Sunday. So, God changed it. No–God says He does not change, Malachi 3:6. And He wrote the Commandments into stone–does that sound like He wanted it changed? The little horn “thinks to change times and laws” in Daniel 7:25, but they will pay a horrible price for trying to change what He gave.
#6. You say, We are under the New Law, which is Catholicism. Evidently Paul who wrote half the New Testament did not understand your “New Law” because he kept the appointed times like Passover with Greek believers in Corinth, 1Cor 5:8 and in Philippi, Acts 20:6 and said, Follow Me as I follow Christ, 1Cor 11:1.
#7. You admit 50-100 million martyrs by the church. “Drunken with the blood of saints” is Revelation 17:6. It continues till now with Eye Witnesses to Pope Francis Killing babies and drinking their blood in Satanic Rituals

The clues re the little horn fit the papacy as no other entity: It grew out of the 4th beast (Roman Empire); uprooted 3 horns (3 Arian kings that didn’t’ accept Trinity), speaks ‘great words’ of blasphemy, claiming the title, Lord God the Pope, changed times (calendar) and laws (Sabbath to Sunday, no images) and persecutes saints as recently as Rwanda–a million Protestant Tutsis, and the UN could easily have stopped it but was ordered to “stand down” and let the local (Catholic) government handle it. Later John Paul said ‘sorry.’ He will go to hell for it.
#9. The clues for the sea beast only fit the papacy–that beast is an amalgamation of the 4 beasts from Daniel 7 that it survived. It had a deadly wound by a sword–the Protestant Reformation was based on the Bible as the sword, Hebrews 4:12 That deadly wound healed as Lutherans had joint communion last fall. Rev 13 says “all te world worshiped (gave worth) to the beast (papacy) Every living US president bowed before the casket of a dead pope John Paul. What a shameful worship. The passage also says the dragon (Satan) gave the beast power and authority. Why not since Satan is worshiped in the Vatican, a word that means divining serpent. #10. The clues for Mother of Abominations in Revelation 17 can only fit the papacy.
