Los Angeles police and federal agents seized more than 1,000 firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition after executing a search warrant at a home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood. One man was arrested and is expected to be booked on weapons charges. He was later identified as Girard Damien Saenz from Los Angeles. via YT
More than a 1000 weapons have been seized at a mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles’ priciest areas early Wednesday morning.
After receiving a tip of an “individual selling and manufacturing illegal firearms,” officials with the Los Angeles Police Department and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives conducted a search warrant on the 100 block of North Beverly Glen Boulevard in Bel Air where they discovered a massive collection of weapons, LAPD confirms to PEOPLE.
The collection includes rifles, shotguns and handguns.
“Right now there’s been over a thousand guns seized and there’s an individual being question,” LAPD states.

Damn nice collection confiscated. This is b.s.. If a the guy could afford them, why not… why shouldn’t he be able to own them? As the reporter stated in the 2nd video. If the video is correct and there were “fully automatic” firearms and the owner did not have the stamps for them… that’d be illegal. I looked in the 2nd video but did not see one. But if he did have such….. again, no reason why not. Too, if he was selling in excess of local ordinances and State laws… again, illegal. But a it is not a crime to sell under the line; nor, is it illegal to sell if you do have a FFL. Folks need to not (pardon the pun) jump the gun here and accuse or believe any crime was committed at all. You can own a damned tank if you want in this country. Just get the appropriate paperwork and checks done. And that is just fine by me.
Nefarious activities aside, there is no legal limit to how many guns one can own. There are various restrictions on the private storage of ammunition and or black powder for firearms. This is simply due to fire safety regulations for the most part….
