Seeing as congress has passed laws that mean that anyone accused of a drug related crime is subject to forfeiture laws (apart from members of congress that is!!) these laws are so vague that a person can be found guilty and have their assets seized without being able to prove their innocence.

I lived on the third floor of a building across from an unemployment office. I will never forget seeing hundreds of people standing in a line that went around the building and halfway down the block in 10 degree weather to file for unemployment when reagan shut the steel industry down and manufacturing took a dive forever.
