Eric Holcomb’s use of scripture is offensive of where he said where 2 or 3 are gathered together in my name as in saying god only allows 2 or 3 people to be gathered at any one time.
What he was saying was where two or three are gathered in my name there I will be in the midst of them too. he used this as to say it’s ok to limit people who gather for religious reasons. Because he said not 3-500 or more… This is offensive and wrong use of scripture.
First! fo all Holcomb, if you see this Jesus was making the statement about whatsoever anyone will ask in his name and agree the same will be done to him… the where two or three are gathered in my name was just another way to say the same thing as he’d said above about asking for things… not about numbers of people coming together and meeting… His statement is a false statement and used wrongfully.
I hope some preacher in Indiana will school him on this.
