ITCHING EARS & REFUSAL OF TRUTH

2 Timothy 4:2-4

² Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

³ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

⁴ And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

It is always interesting and frustrating to me that when I post things concerning TRUE SALVATION that fewer and fewer people continue to read the posts and they are almost never re-posted anywhere else. So why is that? Why is the most important issue ever to face humanity not of interest, but news of THIS WORLD is?

Is it because of Jesus teaching us about the STRAIT GATE and NARROW WAY? Is it because Jesus told us to PICK UP OUR OWN PERSONAL CROSS? Is it because Christians have been hardwired to the fake gospel that is warned about all over the Bible? Is it because the Lord has picked their easy salvation gospel delusion?

If I post something about current news of THIS WORLD, suddenly people come to visit. Can anyone give me an answer? Is there anyone out there that realizes with their HEART and MIND the horrific predicament they are really in? Or have they all embraced the FAKE SALVATION GOSPEL OF OUR MODERN CHURCH? Do you realize that this last days Church is a LOST HELLBOUND CHURCH? If not, WHY NOT?

SO WHY IS THAT?

The answer is stated clearly in the scripture above. PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THE REAL TRUTH. They want worldly news because they are IN THE WORLD, they have one foot in the world and maybe, just maybe, they have a toe or so into Jesus. But in reality, they are EARTH DWELLERS, in love with this world and the NEWS of this world!  

The modern-day church is so apostate, and so in bed with their BROAD WAY faith and belief ONLY gospel that they fulfill Scripture prophecy to the letter. The MANY and THE FEW. It is prophecy you know, so it must be fulfilled. The fields are ripe for HARVEST, but the workers forTHE TRUTH ARE FEW. FEW INDEED. TINY, MINUTE. WHAT A SHOCK THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO FACE.

Here is the advice given to all of humanity that He loves with such a deep love there are no words to describe it:

Luke 12:31-34

³¹ But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

³² Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

We might get a better understanding of the absolute importance of this from Matthew 6:

Matthew 6:33-34

³³ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

³⁴ Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Notice the word FIRST:

Neuter of G4413 as an adverb (with or without G3588); firstly (in time, place, order, or importance): – before, at the beginning, chiefly, (at, at the) first (of all).

Now if this does not give one a CLUE as to how important all of this is, then there is no hope for that person.

And now the word LITTLE:

LITTLE

μικρός, μικρότερος – mikros    mikroteros

mik-ros’, mik-rot’-er-os

Apparently a primary word, including the comparative (second form); small (in size, quantity, number or (figuratively) dignity): – least, less, little, small.

This compares with what Jesus said in Matthew 7, concerning HOW FEW would do as they were commanded to find LIFE:

MATTHEW 7:13-14

¹³ Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

¹⁴ Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

THE WORD FEW:

G3641

ὀλίγος – oligos – ol-ee’-gos

Of uncertain affinity; puny (in extent, degree, number, duration or value); especially neuter (adverbially) somewhat: – + almost, brief [-ly], few, (a) little, + long, a season, short, small, a while.

So, the warnings are there, along with GREAT PROMISES to anyone and everyone in humanity that God will give POWER TO ALL WHO BELIEVE TO ACCOMPLISH SALVATION. It is the LORD that gives the TRUE BELIEVER the ability and power to enter in at the strait gate and to walk the narrow way. It is He alone that provides the power to walk the WAY via GRACE. That being so, where is this a WORK, or a LEGALISM? And so it goes, and so it is, and so it will be until the GREAT RAPTURE OCCURS, and then, well, it will be too late for multitudes (millions) of Christians who will be turned away and rejected:

Now then, Jesus REJECTS millions upon millions of Christians – many of whom are on the front lines, watchmen, teachers, preachers, evangelists, miracle workers:

Matthew 7:

²² Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

²³ And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

“I never came to KNOW YOU EXPERIENTIALLY. We never met; you did not COME to the light. Yes, you believed, YES you had great faith, YES you did miracle works, gave prophecies, and did many wonderful works!! But you did not COME TO ME TO BE JUDGED. YOU PASSED OVER JUDGMENT and DIVINE LOVE” in paraphrase.

I would suggest that people drop what they are doing, and post haste BELIEVE JESUS CHRIST AND WHAT HE COMMANDS rather than the FAKES OUT THERE WITH THEIR BROAD WAY THEOLOGY that leads to eternal ruin. Are modern Christians the new Pharisees? It would seem so:

Luke 11:42-43

⁴² But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

⁴³ Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

Why? Because the STRAIT GATE and NARROW WAY are the only way NOT TO PASS OVER JUDGMENT AND LOVE. If you refuse the “way” you will never come into judgment with the Lord, and you will never have DIVINE AGAPE shown to you. You will die in your sins…
