Passover Rapture: Our Exodus from the End Times?

Discussing current events and how they relate to Biblical prophesy. What are some critical signs are pointing to the imminent Rapture of the Church?

In this message, we examine the Rapture timing from the point of view of current events, the Jewish Exodus from Egypt, the Psalms, and the the Song of Solomon.

 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt: “This month is to be the beginning of months for you; it is the first month of your year. Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month they must each select an animal of the flock according to their fathers’ households, one animal per household…You are to keep it until the fourteenth day of this month; then the whole assembly of the community of Israel will slaughter the animals at twilight. They must take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses where they eat them. They are to eat the meat that night; they should eat it, roasted over the fire along with unleavened bread and bitter herbs… Here is how you must eat it: you must be dressed for travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in a hurry; it is the Lord’s Passover.

“I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night and strike every firstborn male in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. I am Yahweh; I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. The blood on the houses where you are staying will be a distinguishing mark for you; when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No plague will be among you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. (Exodus 12:1-13)

The Jewish holiday of Passover commemorates the Exodus from Egypt. God, seeing the blood, will then “pass over” the houses of the Israelites (Exodus 12:13), while smiting the Egyptians with the tenth plague, the killing of the first-born sons.

Passover will mark the beginning of the New Year, and the end of 2020, according to the Lord’s command: The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt: “This month is to be the beginning of months for you; it is the first month of your year. (Exodus 12:1)

Are we getting close to our “Exodus” from this Earth? Virtually anyone on the planet can agree on one thing – the year 2020 has been extreme in every way:

Political:

A global pandemic shutting down entire countries for months. Riots scarring cities across America with the worst urban violence in half a century. A sitting American president getting infected with a deadly virus, leading to his hospitalization less than a month before a presidential election. And a Supreme Court justice dies months before that election.

In many ways, 2020 has been an unprecedented, even bizarre, year for American politics.

Spy chief releases docs on claim Hillary Clinton cooked up Russia scandal / New York Post, October 6, 2020

National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe on Tuesday declassified documents about a claim Hillary Clinton ordered “a campaign plan to stir up a scandal” by linking President Trump to Russia in 2016 — and that indicate then-President Barack Obama knew about her possible role.

Ratcliffe provided to Fox News an undated set of notes from then-CIA Director John Brennan about a briefing for Obama that touched on the allegation, and an investigative referral from the CIA to the FBI describing the claim.

“Today, at the direction of President Trump, I declassified additional documents relevant to ongoing Congressional oversight and investigative activities,” Ratcliffe told Fox News Tuesday.

The newly released notes from Brennan, who now is a fiery anti-Trump commentator, indicate that Brennan briefed Obama on “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 28 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services.”

Joe Biden may currently be under Federal criminal investigation / Israel National News, October 11, 2020

Intrepid investigative reporter Paul Sperry, has just reported that Democrat Candidate for President Joe Biden is the “subject of an active federal criminal investigation.”

Environmental:

Think 2020′s disasters are wild? Experts say the worst is yet to come / AP, September 10, 2020

A record amount of California is burning, spurred by a nearly 20-year mega-drought. To the north, parts of Oregon that don’t usually catch fire are in flames.

Meanwhile, the Atlantic’s 16th and 17th named tropical storms are swirling, a record number for this time of year. Powerful Typhoon Haishen lashed Japan and the Korean Peninsula this week. Last month it hit 130 degrees in Death Valley, the hottest Earth has been in nearly a century.

Phoenix keeps setting triple-digit heat records, while Colorado went through a weather whiplash of 90-degree heat to snow this week. Siberia, famous for its icy climate, hit 100 degrees earlier this year, accompanied by wildfires. Before that Australia and the Amazon were in flames.

Amid all that, Iowa’s derecho — bizarre straight-line winds that got as powerful as a major hurricane, causing billions of dollars in damages — barely went noticed.

“A year like 2020 could have been the subject of a marvelous science fiction film in 2000,” Cobb said. “Now we have to watch and digest real-time disaster after disaster after disaster, on top of a pandemic. The outlook could not be any more grim. It’s just a horrifying prospect.”

Military:

Russia’s Season of War Games Unites West-Weary Allies / The Defense Post, September 24, 2020

President Vladimir Putin will on Friday oversee massive military exercises as Russia stages a series of drills with China and other allies amid fresh tensions with the West.

The largest of these games, Caucasus-2020, kicked off in southern Russia this week and include land and naval exercises involving a total of 80,000 people including more than 12,000 troops.

China, Iran, and Myanmar are taking part along with Armenia and Belarus. The Kremlin announced Putin will attend the drills on Friday.

“These exercises are the main annual test of the Russian armed forces’ readiness to engage in a large-scale conflict,” Vasily Kashin, a Moscow-based military analyst, told AFP.

The drills that last until Saturday and feature naval deployments on the Black Sea and the Caspian have been organized “for the top echelons of the military leadership,” he said.

Running parallel to the Caucasus-2020 games, the joint Russian-Belarusian drills dubbed Slavic Brotherhood began in mid-September and involve more than 900 Russian troops.

Compared to 2016, when the Caucasus games were last held, Russia has added more drones and artillery to its military as well as fighter jets and air defense systems like the renowned S-400, Kashin said.

Putin has also lauded new “invincible” nuclear-capable weapons, which have yet to be shown off in drills.

Kashin raised the possibility that one of the new weapons — the Kinzhal hypersonic missile — could be tested during Caucasus-2020 as well as the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jet, which has been anticipated for several years.

Pope Francis says New World Order needs to happen now with United Nations in charge / Natural News, October 09, 2020

In his latest Fratelli Tutti (Brothers All) encyclical letter, Pope Francis issues a plea for the nations of the world to hand their reins of power over to the United Nations, which Francis says will lead us all into the New World Order.

Since globalism has already succeeded at weakening the power of individual nation states through the trans-nationalization of their respective economic and financial sectors, the time is ripe to cement into place a system of global governance that can never be undone, Francis contends.

“Given this situation, it is essential to devise stronger and more efficiently organized international institutions, with functionaries who are appointed fairly by agreement among national governments, and empowered to impose sanctions,” he writes.

In calling for “some form of world authority regulated by law,” Francis explains that such an authority “ought at least to promote more effective world organizations, equipped with the power to provide for the global common good, the elimination of hunger and poverty and the sure defense of fundamental human rights.”

The best and most suitable candidate, Francis insists, is the United Nations Organization, to which Francis is a known ally. His support for global warming, open borders, equality and peace has earned Francis repeated praise and laud from the U.N., which stated in the past that Francis is “contributing to reaching many of [the U.N.’s] objectives.”

Ultimately, the plan is to instill a system of “common good” for the entire globe, with the U.N. supposedly ensuring that all “false intentions” and “partisan interests” are restricted from superseding the good of all. Francis believes that multilateral, rather than bilateral, agreements will best serve this end, creating a new system of global governance controlled by one single entity.

Biden Endorses Transgender Activism for 8-Year-Old Children / PJ Media, October 16, 2020

During the ABC News town hall on Thursday, Democratic nominee Joe Biden explicitly endorsed transgender identity and activism for children as young as 8 years old. He suggested that he would force schools, homeless shelters, and other institutions to let biological boys into girls’ restrooms, changing rooms, other facilities, and sports in the name of fighting “discrimination.”

Mieke Haeck, who introduced herself as the “proud mom of two girls, eight and ten, my youngest daughter is transgender,” asked Biden how he would reverse President Donald Trump’s “dangerous and discriminatory agenda” on transgender issues. She framed Trump’s policy moves — which involve rightly referring to people by their biological sex over their ostensible gender identity — as attacks on transgender people.

Biden, who had earlier insisted that there are things “you can’t do by executive order unless you’re a dictator,” declared, “I will flat-out just change the law” on alleged “discrimination” against transgender people.

He went on to ridicule the idea that a transgender identity during childhood could be a phase. The Democrat mocked “the idea that an 8-year-old child or a 10-year-old child decides, ‘You know I decided I want to be transgender. That’s what I think I’d like to be, it would make my life a lot easier.’”

He then added, “There should be zero discrimination. … There is no reason to suggest that there should be any right denied your daughter … that your other daughter has a right to be and do.”

Economic:

World Economic Outlook, October 2020: A Long and Difficult Ascent / International Monetary Fund, October 7, 2020

The global economy is climbing out from the depths to which it had plummeted during the Great Lockdown in April. But with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to spread, many countries have slowed reopening and some are reinstating partial lockdowns to protect susceptible populations. While recovery in China has been faster than expected, the global economy’s long ascent back to pre-pandemic levels of activity remains prone to setbacks.

To contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and protect susceptible populations, most countries imposed stringent lockdown measures in the first half of 2020. Meanwhile, economic activity contracted dramatically on a global scale. The adoption of lockdowns was an important factor in the recession, but voluntary social distancing in response to rising infections also contributed very substantially to the economic contraction. Therefore, although easing lockdowns can lead to a partial recovery, economic activity is likely to remain subdued until health risks abate.

Without further action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the planet is on course to reach temperatures not seen in millions of years, with potentially catastrophic implications.

All of these developments taken separately are horrific enough, but when combined together can only show that the world is building and converging towards the point of no return. The Bible describes it like this:

” For My people are foolish, 
      They have not known Me. 
      They are silly children, 
      And they have no understanding. 
      They are wise to do evil, 
      But to do good they have no knowledge.” 
       I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; 
      And the heavens, they had no light. 
       I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, 
      And all the hills moved back and forth. 
       I beheld, and indeed there was no man, 
      And all the birds of the heavens had fled. 
       I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, 
      And all its cities were broken down 
      At the presence of the LORD, 
      By His fierce anger.

For thus says the LORD:

      ” The whole land shall be desolate; 
      Yet I will not make a full end. 
       For this shall the earth mourn, 
      And the heavens above be black, 
      Because I have spoken. 
      I have purposed and will not relent, 
      Nor will I turn back from it. (Jeremiah 4:22-28)

The Psalms, which are in the 19th book of the Bible, have a prophetic significance dealing with Israel for each year in the 1900s, carrying over into the 2000s. For example, Psalm 17 points to 1917, Psalm 67 points to 1967, and so on.

Biblical scholars like J.R. Church have found that many of the key events for the Jewish people and for Israel are accurately reflected by the corresponding chapter (year) in the Psalms. As you study the Psalms, please keep in mind that the Jewish years starts somewhere in our month of either March or April, so there is an overlap. This is why a few of the Psalms may seem to reference events form the previous year, of the Gregorian calendar.

The hidden prophecies in the Psalms of Ascents points to the years 2020 to 2026 being the 7 years of the Tribulation Age. These Psalms prophesy the time of troubles and victory, from the perspective of the Jewish people.

2020 and Psalm 120 – A Cry for Peace

What misery that I have stayed in Meshech,
that I have lived among the tents of Kedar!
I have lived too long
with those who hate peace.
I am for peace; but when I speak,
they are for war. (Psalm 120:5-7)

Psalms 120 is a piteous declaration of the unhappy lot of Israel, who is surrounded by the false, the treacherous, and the cruel. One name specifically pointed out is Meshech.

In the Bible, Meshech or Mosoch is named as the sixth son of Japheth (Genesis 10:2), the founder of a tribe (1 Chronicles 1:5; Ezek. 27:13; 38:2, 3). They were the Moschi, a people inhabiting the Moschian Mountains, between the Black and the Caspian Seas. This is the area we now know as Russia.

The name Tubal is also featured in Russia, on the eastern side of the Urals, through the name of the Tobol River and the city named after it, Tobolsk. Though no longer a prominent city, Tobolsk was once the seat of Russian government over Siberia as the Russians expanded east of the Urals.

Meshech and Tubal are specifically named as the land from which an immense army comes to invade Israel:

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, turn your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. Prophesy against him and say: This is what the Lord God says: Look, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and bring you out with all your army, including horses and riders, who are all splendidly dressed, a huge company armed with shields and bucklers, all of them brandishing swords. (Ezekiel 38:1-4)

“Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog: This is what the Lord God says: On that day when My people Israel are dwelling securely, will you not know this and come from your place in the remotest parts of the north—you and many peoples with you, who are all riding horses—a mighty horde, a huge army? (Ezekiel 38:14)

The hidden prophecies in the Psalms points to the Ezekiel invasion happening shortly (Psalm 120 corresponds to the year 2020).

The invasion of Israel will be primarily motivated by greed for their great wealth. The recent annexation of Crimea will be their strategy. The Crimean Peninsula was invaded and annexed by the Russian Federation in 2014. They used the excuse of the Ukrainian revolution, and Russian masked troops occupied key Crimean locations, including airports and military bases, following Putin’s orders.

The “hook in the jaw” will be an escalation between Iran and Israel, that will reach the point of no return. As the experts conclude, that ultimate confrontation is inevitable. In fact, it is likely to happen at any moment. Russian will then step in to defend her ally. Putin is inclined to make calculated geopolitical moves, with an impressive sense of timing and optimum use of Russia’s strategic cards.

He is trying to prevent an escalation involving Iran, but when the real war begins, he will use it as an excuse to invade Israel and try to annex it, just like he did with Crimea. This is Gog’s plan – to make Russia great again.

Why would the coalition attack on Passover?

The 1973 “Yom Kippur War” began when the Arab coalition launched a joint surprise attack on Israeli positions, on Yom Kippur, a widely observed day of rest, fasting, and prayer in Judaism. Attacking on a feast day is a strategic decision to catch the enemy off guard. Passover is one of the most important feast days in Israel.

The Lord wants us to trust in His provision for the Body of Christ: the Rapture.

Is it possible that the long expected Rapture will take place on Passover? Could this be our Exodus?

Interestingly, in modern Judaism the Song of Solomon is read on the Sabbath during the Passover, which marks the beginning of the grain harvest as well as commemorating the Exodus from Egypt.

Jewish tradition reads it as an allegory of the relationship between God and Israel, and Christianity as an allegory of Christ and his bride, the Church.

Song of Solomon chapter 2, verses 8-14, is an amazing picture of Jesus Christ coming to snatch His Bride up and away from off the Earth in the Rapture:

Listen! My love is approaching.
Look! Here he comes,
leaping over the mountains,
bounding over the hills.
My love is like a gazelle
or a young stag.
Look, he is standing behind our wall,
gazing through the windows,
peering through the lattice.
My love calls to me:

Arise, my darling.
Come away, my beautiful one.
For now the winter is past;
the rain has ended and gone away.
The blossoms appear in the countryside.
The time of singing[j] has come,
and the turtledove’s cooing is heard in our land.
The fig tree ripens its figs;
the blossoming vines give off their fragrance.
Arise, my darling.
Come away, my beautiful one.

My dove, in the clefts of the rock,
in the crevices of the cliff,
let me see your face,
let me hear your voice;
for your voice is sweet,
and your face is lovely. (Song of Solomon 2:8-14)

Note that the bride’s beloved is pictured as being above her, as if He was coming down to get her:

“Listen! My love is approaching.
Look! Here he comes,
leaping over the mountains,
bounding over the hills.” Song of Solomon 2:8 (KJV)

He is looking at her “through the lattice” located “behind our wall”, which is exactly where Jesus is when He comes to get us. He is veiled to the rest of the world, but He is clearly visible to us.

He does not come down to get the Bride, rather He causes her to “rise up” and “come away” with Him:

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)

“After this I looked, and there in heaven was an open door. The first voice that I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” Revelation 4:1 (KJV)

He who testifies about these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” (Revelation 22:20)

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Savior, now would be an excellent time to ask Him into your life. We each need a Savior! If you are not sure that you are saved, you can accept Christ into your life right now, by praying:

“Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior.”
