An Everlasting Kingdom

 Today I have a much different view of theology than I had obtained from the Church preaching of this age, and I have obtained a much different view of prophecy than I was originally taught.  I asked questions such as this “where do people get this idea that the 70th week of Daniel is separated off and placed way over at the end of the age, for a period of 3 1/2 and some say seven years to be fulfilled before Christ returns?”  What I mean by this is that there are no instructions in the scriptures to do this.  Also in Daniel chapters 2 and 7 Daniel tells us that the kingdom in the last days grows in the earth to over take all of the kingdoms of this world, and that it subdues these kingdoms, and is the one kingdom that shall never be destroyed and last forever.

  Daniel 2 depicts the kingdom as being like a stone cut out without hands that strikes the feet of the image that Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about, destroying the whole image.  And as we know this image was a composite representation of the four beast kingdoms that Daniel had a vision of later on.  We understand from Daniel that this stone is something that occurs in the latter days, after the kingdom and empire of Rome has come upon the scene.  In the Revelation of Jesus Christ written by John we learn that this fourth beast, Rome comes to have seven heads and ten horns.  And then an eight head arises for a short time, of which we today understand is the New World Order and it is modeled after a Greek Democracy since we see in John’s visions that the body of this beast was composed of the same body as that of Greece seen by Daniel.

  The thing that most people miss in their prophecy interpretations is this, Daniel tells us that the kingdom in the last days will overcome and subdue all of these earthly kingdoms, and that even means the New World Order.  Instead we are taught that things will become so bad under an Antichrist global government that God’s people will have to be removed out of the earth in order to survive.  This in effect means that via this scenario Christ returns a second time secretly to snatch away His Bride to escape the tribulations and then returns a third time openly with His Bride.  Jesus only mentions coming back a second time, so this third time scenario is a figment of men. Hence this is not the scenario that Jesus gave us regarding His return and the gathering up of His people unto Him self.  So let us take a real good look at this.  Pay attention to the order of events as He mentions them.

  “Immediately *after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And *then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, *and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”  Matthew 24:29-31

  Here Jesus says that it is “after” the tribulation of those days, that the signs of His return will appear in the heavens, and after these signs then the sign shall appear of the Son of man in heaven.  And then His angels will gather together His elect, His people.

  So here He plainly tells us the order of events, and when we are to look for His return which is after the tribulations of those days, and it is then that after His sign shall appear that His people are raptured or rather gathered up.  Furthermore the true authority on these matters is Jesus Christ who is the Word of God in the flesh.  Regardless of men’s views and opinions on this matter, as pre trib, mid, as opposed to post trib, the matter of truth here is what Jesus says and not the religious views and opinions of men.  Hence we have a choice to make as to whom we will believe, the religious doctrines of men and their end times interpretations or Jesus?  And of course regardless of what men might believe and teach, we have to believe Jesus.  Even when what Jesus says destroys their end times scenarios.

  Now that kingdom that Daniel saw in the last days is the kingdom of God that came in Christ, it is not the old kingdom of Israel, remember the first thing that Jesus preached was that the kingdom of God had come.  And looking now at what Daniel tells us, the stone that smote the great image upon its feet destroying the whole image, grew in the earth to become a great mountain this fills the whole world.  And as mentioned above this kingdom destroys all of the kingdoms of this world and is the one left in the earth as an everlasting kingdom.  And hence based upon this, just as Christ tells us in Matthew 24, we have to remain here in this world for all of this to come to pass.  And we are a part of the army of God outfitted with the whole armor of God with power to tread upon serpents and scorpions who are involved in subduing that last kingdom which is the New World Order.  And if you look at the movement in the hearts of the people not only in the USA at this time but around the world, where even in the EU they are wanting to be like us and are ready for a revolution to put down the New World Order, well we can envision that what Daniel shows us is true and it also fits with the scenario of things that Jesus tells us.  In fact Jesus tells us that His angels will first come to gather up and remove the tares to be burned, and then the wheat, His people are gathered up.  Hence, we have been taught a false scenario about the events of the last days.  So this all being the case, we are not going anywheres since we are going to ride this spiritual battle out and obtain the victory in the end.
