We Are Still in the Middle of the War Between Western Roman Empire vs. Eastern Roman Empire

I read all these poorly educated preachers teaching end time prophecy, when they know so little about history. Every preacher validates the one before him, with same mistakes and their error becomes accepted as, ‘gospel. And send $29.99 for more goofball predictions’. Most of these boobs claim that Russia is Gog or Magog and will attack Israel. Russia was the third manifestation of Roman Empire. Let’s look at history and see how “real Rome” existed.

Numerous times, the Empire had been divided into Western and Eastern Roman Empires and often had different Emperors. Diocletion (emperor) divided Rome into Eastern and Western sections (even subdividing each into two sections (4 different rulers) in 284 C.E. Over the next hundred years or so, Rome would be reunited, split into three parts, and split in two again. 

Eventually, Emperor Constantine conquered three other Roman rulers, unified Rome into one Kingdom again, and moved the capital from the “city of Rome” to his newly built capital at Constantinople (now Istanbul in Turkey). The power had moved from city of Rome to Constantinople and what was left of the Roman Empire in the west (now western Europe) was overrun/conquered in 476 A.D. by a German tribe led by Odoacer. It ceased to exist. But the Roman Empire continued to flourish in the East until 1453, when the Roman empire (run from Constantinople) was conquered by the Turks.

There were times that city of Rome (Western Roman territories -England, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy proper) was revived, but never was head of Empire again. Western Rome was run by the Pope, a variety of Emperors, Germanic tribes, Lombards and Eastern Empire- Charlemagne of the Franks and later by Otto (Germanic tribes) were considered Emperors of Rome, though just wishful thinking. . To usurp power, the Western Roman Empire purposely renamed the Roman Empire run from Constantinople as “Byzantine Empire”- no such name existed.

The Eastern Roman Empire, run out of Constantinople WAS THE ROMAN EMPIRE- citizens of the Eastern Roman Empire saw themselves as the true Romans, though most of the Eastern Roman Empire spoke Greek, while what was the Western Roman Empire spoke Latin. In 1453, the Turks comquered the last vestiges of the Roman Empire by taking the city of Contantinople. Many people left Constantinople before Turks took the city. These ROMANS went where they could- many to live with allies- the Roman Emperor bloodline, in Sophia Palologina, married Prince of Moscow (highest title of Russians) and the first ROMAN/RUSSIAN bloodline ruler was known as IVAN THE TERRIBLE. Many Roman customs became part of Russian Royalty including title “CZAR/TSAR”, a Russianization of CAESAR (Emperor), ceremonies, double headed eagle flag, most of Roman church Orthodoxy (as opposed to Papacy).
