Our Heavenly Father sends us messages and warnings through our dreams today. The Mothman Prophecies Are based On A True Story

It has been long rumored the Mothman is a harbinger of death. That whatever it is, it seems to appear just before a disaster strikes. For the people of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, that disaster happened in December of 1967, as the Silver Bridge collapsed; taking vehicles and their passengers with it into the cold waters of the Ohio River.  Were the Mothman Prophecies a warning from the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob or the devil to warn the locals of an impending disaster?  I believe the mothman who looked very much like a fallen watch and scared people half to death with his red eyes was from the pit of Hell as the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob would never send anyone that evil looking to help His people.  The devil likes to mimick God with foretelling prophecies and could very well have caused the bridge to collapse to fulfill his demonic prophecies.

It all started in November 1966 when five men, who happened to be digging a grave, said they saw a man-like figure soar over them. Three days later in Point Pleasant, a pair of couples claimed they were chased in their car by a figure with a 10-foot wingspan and glowing red eyes. Soon after, papers began to catch on and reported on the supposed sightings that occurred throughout the year. 

The local headlines screamed: “Couples See Man-Sized Bird … Creature … Something!” “Monster No Joke for Those Who Saw It,” “Gigantic, Fuzzy Bird Chases Auto in Storm.”

No, this was not a Samuel Arkoff B-horror production. This was real–or possibly real anyway. 

The time was 1966 in Point Pleasant, W.Va., and something very strange was happening. More than 100 people reported seeing a 9-foot-tall, black, winged creature with glowing red eyes. Some said it spoke to them and forewarned of an impending disaster in their town, a small farming community at the intersection of the Ohio and Kanawha rivers. One year later, their worst fears were realized when the bridge over the Ohio River, connecting Point Pleasant to Ohio, collapsed and 47 people died.

“Mothman”–as the beast was known by locals–was never seen or heard from again in Point Pleasant again.

Mothman has allegedly appeared to many prior to major disasters since the bridge collapse, with sightings claimed before 9/11 and the I-35W Minnesota bridge collapse, nearby Mason County, and even in Chicago, where it seems to have made its new home. At least, according to the most recently reported sighting on Oct. 16, 2020.
