Well….I suppose you have a point. They may have escaped the CERN portal, and possessed many that walk amongst us, after all….right? Do you really want to go backward into the ‘burning times’ when many innocents were incinerated under the banner of the cross? You all speak of how you are or have been persecuted, when your kind has done far worse and on a larger, more organized scale. Religious fundamentalism is nothing more than theocracy disguised under the trojan horse of “lovingly ‘rebuking’, isolating, and destroying your opposition, whom you sugar-coat as your ‘neighbors’”. The far left may indeed be sick; I won’t contend with that. But the goals of the religious views of the far-right are far worse, and infinitely more liberty stifling.
Like the guidestones being blown up/taken down. You’d all throw a fit if it were your ten commandment monuments that litter virtually every court across the nation. Which is fine by me. I myself cannot say I supported everything engraved on the Georgia Guidestones, although some of the principles seemed pretty rational to me. But just like you want the right to pray in school, and have your commandments in front of secular courthouses; you cannot, without being a total hypocrite (which is typical of your kind), say that other beliefs and those of other worldviews have no right to speak their minds and erect monuments of their own.
