New David Rodriguez: Playing Both Sides? America's Breaking Point!
David “Nino” Rodriguez is an American heavyweight boxer. He was formerly ranked number 13 in the world by the WBC and number 12 by the WBA while 11 in the world by the IBA. During training for one of his fights, Rodriguez survived a brutal knife attack, the result of which was a near-death experience and a facial scar that runs clear from his ear to his chin.
David began telling others about his story through an anti-bullying campaign that started organically but has now begun to pick up momentum. He speaks to detention facilities and school districts openly sharing a story of himself being bullied and in return being a bully to others. David’s book, “When The Lights Go Out: From Survivor to Champion” recounts his journey back from the brink of despair.
Recently, David made headlines after posting a video exposing human trafficking and child pedophile rings prevalent throughout the upper echelons of the entertainment, sports and political communities. You’re wrong! Nino, you’re a good guy but you won’t understand what’s going on if you continue to let your emotions get the best of you. Recall when you boxed. I boxed too. You know when your emotions get to you as a boxer, it’s all over. You must control your emotions and you know that. A quick way that I learned. You relax, find the place in your body where you feel the emotion, then relax that part. Don’t try to get rid of the emotion first and second welcome it and third relax your stomach or wherever you feel it. It’s usually very quick especially after you use it a few times. I will tell you this now nothing in general will be nearly as bad as they say for most of us. Look you know the bad guys already lost. We need the new system absolutely. The old system was evil.
