Rapture 2022: the Throne and the Kingdom
Discussing current events and how they relate to Biblical prophesy. What are some critical signs are pointing to the imminent Rapture of the Church?
After this I looked, and there in heaven was an open door. The first voice that I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”
Immediately I was in the Spirit, and a throne was set there in heaven. One was seated on the throne, and the One seated looked like jasper and carnelian stone. A rainbow that looked like an emerald surrounded the throne. Around that throne were 24 thrones, and on the thrones sat 24 elders dressed in white clothes, with gold crowns on their heads. Flashes of lightning and rumblings of thunder came from the throne. Seven fiery torches were burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. Something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal, was also before the throne. (Revelation 4:1-6)
In Revelation chapter 4, John’s visit to Heaven starts with an open door and a voice like a trumpet, and then immediately he is before the Throne Room. This is a preview of our blessed Rapture – our rescue!
I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:50-52)
Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:17)
The word rapture comes from the Latin rapere, meaning, “to seize” or “to abduct.” It is translated from the Greek word that is rendered “caught up” in English Bibles today.
Immediately following the Rapture is the End Times.
And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. (Luke 17:26-30)
In both of His examples, the righteous people were saved first, then came swift destruction for the wicked. There was no apparent warning.
That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. (Matthew 24:39-41)
In other words, the Rapture will come as a complete surprise, and during normal activities. It will come before the Tribulation!
Using another parable, Jesus describes His return this way:
“Now concerning that day or hour no one knows—neither the angels in heaven nor the Son—except the Father. Watch! Be alert! For you don’t know when the time is coming. It is like a man on a journey, who left his house, gave authority to his slaves, gave each one his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to be alert. Therefore be alert, since you don’t know when the master of the house is coming—whether in the evening or at midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or early in the morning. Otherwise, he might come suddenly and find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Be alert!” (Mark 13:32-37)
In Luke 1, the angel Gabriel quotes this prophecy and applies it to Jesus. He is the ultimate Son of David. He will reign forever and ever. The book of Revelation gives us a preview of this situation, since Jesus’ Kingdom is not yet visible to us in all its glory.
All three Bible passages stress that there will be no end to Jesus’ reign.
This promise is like a refrain that unites believers from all times: the Kingdom we are expecting will endure through the ages. Human nations rise and fall, but God’s Kingdom will remain.

Early August 1993 – One morning while walking to work to my job as a Carpenter and Joiner. I was suddenly drawn up and out of my body and “raptured” up to Heaven by Jesus Christ to stand before Him.
He knew me as I knew Him. He telepathically asked me if I wanted to stay in heaven. I said “no thanks”!
Why? Because I wanted to tell my family and the whole world that Jesus Christ and Heaven DID exist and were real – and most importantly I was searching for my wife and I could sense that she was NOT in Heaven.

My eyes were drawn to a line of clouds in the sky which began to slowly drift apart and rays of sunlight began shining down to Earth from in-between them!
As I watched, my soul was suddenly RAPTURED up and out of my body and up to that real HEAVEN itself.
I was a LARGE GOLDEN SPIRIT SPARK standing next to an even larger GOLDEN SPIRIT SPARK.
I knew HIM as HE knew me.
I was surrounded by an uncountable ocean of pinpoints of golden light which were smaller golden spirit sparks sending me emotional thought waves of UNLIMITED HAPPINESS.
Heaven was supremely glorious but I did not want to suddenly leave behind my girlfriend parents and relatives. Plus I wanted to tell everyone on earth that Heaven is real.
I could not see any ethereal people or dwellings, I just felt…

(I began thinking about my parents and girlfriend, and if I died, then they would be heartbroken. But what would seem like a lifetime of grief to them, would only seem like an instant in time for me, until we could be together again eternally).
I was being given the choice either to go back to Earth – so that my earthly body could live. Or my soul and spirit could stay in Heaven – but my Earth body would die.
I decided immediately that I could NOT leave my girlfriend and family alone. I wanted to tell the whole world about my experience.
No sooner had the thoughts left my mind then Heaven began to fade and my soul slowly began to descend back down into my body.
Also, I’d been searching for my Wife who I sensed disappointedly that she was NOT in Heaven.
No sooner had I telepathically spoken inside of my head those thoughts to Jesus then sadly I saw and sensed everything in Heaven begin to fade and I slowly floated back down from Heaven and back down into my body (which a minute earlier I had arrived at work).
I had been fully aware of both Earth and Heaven simultaneously while walking to work and being in Heaven.
It had taken 6 years of studying – pushing forward in my head every second of every day and night – even in my dreams – to break through into real “Heaven” itself!
