A week ago I was upbeat with how the protests in China were gaining inertia with crowds walking right through police lines, and even successfully fighting police to take back protesters who the police were detaining.
Sadly however, any hopes I had then for a successful upheaval of government have since been UTTERLY SQUASHED. Not only were there no signs of police changing sides to join the people in their fight, but most of the protesters are likely now detained in detention camps after being physically abused.
To make matters worse, the Chinese government put out propaganda how they were loosening COVID restriction, when in reality they have only made them MUCH WORSE! Many ignorant investers reacted bullishly to this propaganda which only feeds the beast further.
