Jesus' return could be closer than we think. God's Calendar shows us how close we are.
God has a 7000 year calendar and His calendar is right on schedule. There are many “appointed times” shown in the Bible for major events. For example Jesus came to earth at an appointed time and he was crucified at an appointed time. You can look up appointed times in a Bible search program to see them all. These appointed times are right on schedule and will happen at exactly the time that was allotted for them.
Bible chronology shows that there was approximately 2000 years from Adam until Abraham and 2000 years from Abraham to Jesus Christ. Then 2000 years from Jesus’ crucifixion to his return and then 1000 years of His Kingdom Rule completing the 7000 year calendar of God. In other words the Old Testament covered 4000 years, the New Testament 2000 years and then Jesus will rule the earth for 1000 years. After this God will make a new heaven and earth and will come to earth to live with his children for eternity.
Most Bible scholars agree that Jesus was crucified in AD 30. If you add 2000 years to that we get 2030. Does that date sound familiar? Like Agenda 2030. Assuming that all these numbers are accurate then we are 7 years away from when Jesus will start his 1000 year reign on earth. But there are things that have to happen before that.
The Tribulation described in the Book of Revelation will happen before Jesus comes back to set up his kingdom on earth. The Beast system (antichrist) will rule the earth for the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation. Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) starts on Sept 9 in 2029. Three and a half years brings us back to March 2026. The Beast system begins after the 7th trumpet judgment. Therefore there are 7 trumpet judgments that have to happen before the Beast system begins. And this is the part we don’t know. How long will that take? Let’s say it takes 1 year that would bring us back to March 2025 as being the date that the trumpet judgments begin which means that SOMEWHERE OVER THE NEXT 2 YEARS THE LAST SEALS COULD BE OPENED AND THE TRIBULATION PERIOD COULD BEGIN AND THE RESURRECTION/RAPTURE COULD OCCUR. Then again, it could start tomorrow. Seeing how the world is going that is not very unlikely. Jesus could come for us tomorrow because the resurrection/rapture happens at the Beginning of the Tribulation (Revelation Chapter 7) and the 3rd and 4th seals have now been opened. The 5th seal happens in heaven and the Tribulation starts at the 6th seal “for the day of their wrath has come”. This could happen at any time.
I am NOT trying to set dates, but just looking at the possibilities. Of course the Bible says “no man knows the day or the hour” and rightfully so. If we did know we would live our lives much differently than we do now. But If these numbers are correct, then this is one of the possible outcomes within those dates. The whole point is this: IT’S BEST TO GET RIGHT WITH GOD NOW AND TO LIVE EVERY DAY AS IF JESUS WAS COMING TOMORROW. Then you are forgiven and ready to meet him whenever he comes.
