Sadly, what almost no one ever talks about is the de facto Operation Mockingbird that targets alt media. One of the most prominent ways I believe this is done, is through secret or quasi secret sources, masquerading as whistle blowers who sympathize with the views of alt media gurus and their followers. Then there are alt media personalities who are deliberate disinfo agents claiming to have inside knowledge or sources, and who feign populist sympathies. These agents are endemic on BIN imo. Propaganda and disinfo will seldom be overt talking points from those who control it, unless the audience is receptive to such. Rather, it will be subtle injections to steer narratives in a way that have minimal clashing with the audience’s beliefs and values. It may also be designed to set up opposing sides for purposes of division, to create straw men to attack, create apathy by those waiting for white hat saviors, etc… Historically, there also seems to have been a heavy influence to steer alt media gurus toward supporting war.
