In the Gospels, Jesus tells both the past and the future through parables. The sowing of the weeds among the wheat, for example, why does God allow? The reason is that… ‘out of an abundance of caution’… the Creator chose to allow the two to grow together until an appointed time. Executing the harvest prematurely, following the thought of the Lord, would cause many of the wheat to perish, so He allows the two seeds to grow together.
