In late October of 2009 I stumbled upon a series of pictures based on the twin Tower attacks less than 10 years prior. There was an uncanny resemblance to the natural disaster based simply on a folded twenty dollar bill. I repeat the photos here showing its corresponding actual disaster photo along with the folded twenty depiction. Although the individual who posted this discovery had no information as to how and why the photos came about, I decided to look to the bible for answers and my mind immediately went to Isaiah 30 because I remembered the warnings contained in it sounded so much like what was troubling America. The 2009 piece contains many references to our national identity.
This is what Isaiah said 700 years before the birth of Christ “That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD” [How very true] and when I came to verse 25 I knew what the folded pictures conveyed: “And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall. The references to ‘rivers and streams of water’ suggest the existence of potable water contained in the buildings of this time.
Isaiah was describing an event that would take place some 2700 years into the future from an attack by the Saudis then identified as the descendants of Ishmael from Hagar Abraham’s wife – Sarah’s handmaid.
I offer this presentation once again to cause readers to realize that when the bible presents a prophesy, it often has both an old testament as well as an end times fulfillment and it presents Americas real national heritage through Abraham when GOD tested him by commanding to offer his son. This is an older style US twenty but the newer version is the same.
