An Occupy Objective: Get Wall Street out of Washington
The Problem: Private Interests Control US Government
Current US government has failed dramatically, private corporations are benefitting enormously, and the American people are suffering needlessly as a result of this corrupt paradigm.
Let’s get straight to the point: Private interests control the senior leadership and policy making roles within the United States federal government. This contrasts directly with the foundational laws of the United States established within the framework of the US Constitution. The implication is that high crimes have been committed and are currently supported by existing members of government, and leaders within private industry.
The symptoms of this private control are obvious, even to Americans who don’t follow politics. Industry has off-shored a majority of our manufacturing and technical jobs. High unemployment rates are forcing more people onto welfare and out of their homes. Massive federal bailouts of corporations are taking place at taxpayer expense. Militant and aggressive foreign policy costing tax dollars and American lives are leaving the nation morally and economically bankrupt. And these are only the visible tip of the iceberg.
These facts are apparent to anyone who has been alive and breathing for the last 10 or more years. You don’t need to be a political analyst to understand that something is clearly wrong and that our federal government has not been acting in the best interests of the American people.
The Occupy Response: A Good Start
Our government has failed dramatically, private corporations are benefitting enormously, and the American people are suffering needlessly as a result of this corrupt paradigm.
The good news is that Americans are finally taking a proactive stand. We’re sick and tired of a government that consistently creates policy that benefits Wall Street globalism objectives, to the detriment of our families, our income, and the laws of our nation. The overwhelming Occupy message is of vast income disparities between a very small percentage of people who are connected to the creation and rewards of federal policies in contrast with the rest of the nation. It’s clear that something needs to be done to stop the Wall Street globalist machine from feeding itself at taxpayer expense.
While protester demands range across the spectrum of political ideologies, including calls for increased social policy or anarchy, and ranging between the rethinking of government to the shutdown of Wall Street businesses, there is a single bottom-line message that resonates strongly from every Occupy site: Our government has failed dramatically, private corporations are benefitting enormously, and the American people are suffering needlessly as a result of this corrupt paradigm.
A Critical Risk: Not Unifying the Occupy Message and Common Goal
…unity must be stabilized and a common objective must be identified and accepted
In any grassroots effort, when initial momentum has been accomplished, group unity must be stabilized and a common objective must be identified and accepted. This is foundational. If the movement wants to grow beyond its current base of impassioned supporters it needs a meaningful, necessary, and achievable objective that draws a broad and growing base of supporters who understand the objective and see good reason to support it.
Without limiting the variety of concerns that are brought to the table, the Occupy movement needs to come together in agreement on a goal that is both measurable and achievable. The major risks of not unifying the message and goal are that a) nothing is accomplished and the movement fades, or b) government and Wall Street respond with change that they decide. Here’s a basic example of how Wall Street might manipulate a response in their favor:
Occupy Demand: Income equality – less for the greedy and more for the needy.
Wall Street / Government Response: A new national program that establishes a minimum set of quality life standards. Households that fall below a threshold will be compensated and those who fall above a threshold will contribute tax dollars to the program.
This oversimplified version of what government may agree to (“the American people asked and we responded!”) demonstrates the seriousness of not establishing a common goal. The first and most obvious problem is that this example increases Wall Street profits and its control over government. Another major issue is that a large percentage of Americans – even the poor and the unemployed – will oppose this solution outright as a violation and infringement of Constitutional limitations on government authority. And third, no smart person trusts help from a thoroughly corrupted government that has been usurped by Wall Street.
Here’s some insight for those who are seeking a fix for the wealth disparity symptom. When our government passes a spending bill, the private banks who fund our government earn interest. Any spending bill, whether it’s for welfare, health, defense, education, or other federal program, means additional profit to Wall Street and globalist banks that finance our debt. The profits on these loans are paid directly to these private banks with our tax dollars in the form of interest payments. Under today’s paradigm, any government welfare solution, redistribution plan, or other program is a profit to Wall Street who controls the policy and receives interest payments on every budget that is passed.
With that in mind, the ultimate monopoly for a bank is the control of a nation’s banking system i.e. the private Federal Reserve banks. Wall Street’s happiest moment will be when they can convince Americans that these symptoms that Occupy is protesting should be resolved by changing policy in a way that enables Wall Street to take more tax dollars into their private accounts. Imagine how happy they would be if we went to a socialist system without removing them from control of our monetary system. Our national debt would skyrocket even worse than it is today but their profit from interest would be enormous until the entire system collapses while they relocate their assets to other regions of the world, leaving the American people begging for some level of external help. That’s the paradigm that we live within today in the United States. And the kind of risks we face if people don’t think carefully about our demands and the solutions.
The Challenge: Do We Fix the Symptoms, or Do We Fix the Problem?
The problem is that Wall Street is Washington
We’ve already discussed the symptoms – unemployment, off-shored jobs, foreign wars, income disparity, etc. These are the messages that have been carried to the streets by people who have stepped out in protest. Others have voiced issues include Wall Street influence over government via lobbyists, campaign donations, and other means. Each of these is a viable issue and should be addressed at some level. But by focusing our demands on fixing symptoms will we ever fix the problem?
So what’s the actual problem?
The problem is that Wall Street is Washington.
Let that sink in for a minute. Wall Street is Washington.
That is the number one, primary problem today that is at the root of nearly every symptom that the Occupy movement is protesting. It’s the problem that our media and even many of our protestors are not talking about. Reality is that the people who control our wealthiest finance firms and globalist corporations are in direct control of domestic and foreign policy that is implemented and managed by the Executive Branch of the United States government.
Wall Street is Washington
If you say that’s not possible, you’re almost saying that you’re not open to understanding how. Take some time and look at real information.
The fact is that direct Wall Street control over our White House, the Executive branch, is not a secret. It’s simply not reported by media. Media leadership and management throughout the United States are chosen by the leadership of the six corporations who own more than 90% of the television, radio, newspaper, cable, internet, music, and movie industry in the country. A high percentage of board level directors for these six corporations are invite-only members of the Council on Foreign Relations (the CFR), based in New York City. The CFR was founded in the early 20th century by industrialists and financiers including JP Morgan and John Rockefeller who were seeking a means to influence US and world governments so that they could expand their profits and their ideologies.
The Council on Foreign Relations membership comprises many of the US leaders of industry, finance, media, education, and military who create domestic and foreign policy. CFR members are typically appointed by Presidents on both sides of the political aisle to run cabinet level positions and Executive Branch leadership roles, and as senior policy advisors to all areas and levels of government. The CFR membership collectively controls our national media, our leading academic institutions (Universities and public schooling), our private finance companies, our industry, and much more. This short clip presents a small window into the influence of the Council on Foreign Relations over policies that have decimated our economy and have used the American people and resources in their efforts towards creating a global system under their control:
As you dig deeper into the role of the CFR in our history you’ll find that the initial US delegation on the formation of the United Nations was comprised entirely of members of the private CFR. You’ll see that NAFTA and our trade policies that have enabled Wall Street to outsource our jobs to Asia and other parts of the world, leaving our citizens without decent jobs and decent wages, is the result of CFR initiatives. You’ll see that senior CFR members who’ve held senior government roles are the authors of aggressive military policies that are being implemented by our current Administration. You’ll see that the CFR has controlled our State Department, our Defense Department, our intelligence agencies, and much more for many decades across both political parties. And as you research the current CFR membership roster (available at www.cfr.org) you’ll see that current members include leadership at all levels of US government and the most senior leadership of all major industries and institutions in the United States.
The following short video has more detail on the media influence of the Council on Foreign Relations:
The Critical Occupy Objective: Get Wall Street Out of Washington
Get Wall Street Out of Washington
Americans are actively responding to the inadequacies and injustices in our nation and the world that are a direct result of the symptoms created by Wall Street activities. These symptoms are only possible because of Wall Street’s direct control of Washington policy. Wall Street uses their control of media to limit reporting, to influence policy, and to influence who we choose to populate the White House on both sides of the political aisle so that their agenda can continue. If you look at the biographies of White House appointees and senior advisors going back more than half a century, it’s clear that the occupiers of our White House appoint a significantly large percentage Wall Street insiders and supporters who are recruited directly from the invite-only Council on Foreign Relations. Their goal is to create and implement globalist policies designed to benefit Wall Street globalism goals.
- How do we stop Wall Street banks from profiting by financing our federal budgets and creating more debt? Get Wall Street out of Washington.
- How do we prevent big bailouts of Wall Street banks and businesses? Get Wall Street out of Washington.
- How do we stop unemployment and bring real jobs and industry back to our Americans? Get Wall Street out of Washington.
- How do we stop foreign wars and dangerous foreign policies that benefit Wall Street globalism objectives? Get Wall Street out of Washington.
The greatest wish of the globalist Wall Street banks is that the American people respond by demanding a solution for the symptoms of problems that they’ve created demands that will solidify their control and move them closer to a single global order under their control.
Get Wall Street out of Washington
If we’re going to win this thing we need to be smart and we need to think strategically. The first broad occupy message and goal MUST be to get Wall Street out of Washington. Until then, every solution offered, accepted, or sustained by the current corporate controlled political leadership will be either a band aid or a solution that enables Wall Street to legislate more tax dollars into their pockets as the 99% are stifled from economic growth in a continuing paradigm that is intentionally designed to spiral economies downward while wealth is concentrated upwards. This strategy was determined decades ago by Wall Street as part of the final effort to draw nations into an integrated economic system. It needs to be stopped in its tracks.
Today Occupy has gained the attention of the entire world. Use today’s spotlight to send out a single, unified message: Washington is Wall Street. They need to be removed. The key to this is understanding, which means that the Occupy movement needs to become educated and then educate others. Work this effort in each of your Occupy organizations and gather facts and figures to teach others first hand and with your Livestream accounts. And start protesting CFR headquarters at Pratt House, located at 58 E. 68th St. at Park Ave. New York, NY.
The largest and wealthiest corporations and globalist work together within organizations like the Council on Foreign Relations to choose our leadership who establish domestic and foreign policy to establish their globalist objectives. Wars, bailouts, funding our debt for private profit, off-shoring our economy, militarizing our police and our cities, ignoring Constitutional law, and the list goes on with a litany of criminal lies, deceptions, and traitorous acts.
As the Occupy Wall Street movement, we need to expose the connections and the participants and in doing so, build an impenetrable allegiance with concerned citizens in every corner of the United States and the world. This is an agenda that is real, is current, is at the heart of the economic disparities and deceptions, and that every single rational person will support once they understand.
This Message Comes With A Warning
At risk of sounding dramatic, you probably understand that this is the very message that Wall Street is afraid will leak out. This message will thwart 100 years of concentrated and painstaking effort to establish private economic and political control over the planet. By adopting a common Occupy objective of Get Wall Street Out of Washington, the Occupy movement will face a much larger police and media backlash and assault than it’s already faced. This is very serious and very dirty business. The good news is that if we persist and we continue in a peaceful manner, the rest of America and the world will wake up as they witness it.
Occupy has the attention of the world today and the problems need to be fixed now. The first real step of this process is to get Wall Street out of Washington.
A new tomorrow is coming. It will be defined by the will of the people. Or it will be defined by the will of the private globalist corporations who control entire nations. The Occupy movement is and must be the vehicle to deliver the message of truth to the world. Wall Street won’t allow this moment to arrive again in the future. The only time is now. There will be no second chance. We need to get Wall Street out of Washington and it won’t happen unless this becomes the core message of the Occupy movement.
