ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. Mao-Media and housing teams are together working on housing for people living on the streets.  If willing to talk, would like to do so after the G.A.

a. Mao-Media- Occupy International, Thursday’s at 2:00 pm, Livestream, Secura on expedition toEgyptandSyriawill Livestream from there, more to follow…

2. Occupy Toronto-Housing Committee, December 15, 2011, 12:00 Noon,Potluck/Toy Drive,Nathan Phillips Squarearound the Christmas tree.  (Holidaytree, festive tree, the big tree on the south side near the library)

3. Rebel City partnering with Occupy Toronto and the Ripple Effect, December 15, 2011, 12:00 Noon, “FUN” raiser & Celebration, decorating party @ noon, dancing till late, children’s activities, yoga, prayer, dinner, entertainment, music, to raise funds and resources that will help provide, food, shelter, warmth and community for those in need, event and dinner by donation no one turned away for lack of $.

4. Occupy Talks-Film Series, Quaker House, 60 Lowther (St. George North of Subway), this Saturday, December 17, 2011, 7:00PM, Velcro Ripper, Judy Riddick & Stephanie, 4 more info.:  Facebook occupytalks.

5. Occupy TTC-Action-Every Monday & Friday, 3:30 PM, Mike Check conversation, St. George Subway, East/West platform, RE: TTC issues/Need more Non-Male participants.

6. Occupy Holidays, Saturday December 17, 2011, 13:00DundasSquare, Mike check Eaton Center Fountain, 13:30

7. Peter-1st Unitarian, trying to figure how to buy locally and how to buy organically inToronto. 

8. Brian- Observation:  Santa and Satan, the names look alike.

9. ????- Spoke about The Movement being co-opted by malevolent organizations, Feels that if we stick to what we are doing then this will not matter. 

10. Silvia-Joey has been working on getting $ 4 T-shirts has found a silent donor.  He should be picking up 60 T-shirts, so get on the list. 

11. Silvia-Event for 3 month anniversary of OT, January 13, 14, & 15, 2012, Panel discussion looking for speakers of excellence.  See Carla, Silvia or Octavian.

       Prep. for meeting 6, 7, & 8th of January, 2011.  More to follow.

First up Jenny-Observation: Lack of Women on committees, someone needs to do some outreach, ask why not engaging with the G.A., Is there something we can do to re-engage, to feel safe.
