AT ARGENTINIAN CONSULATE TO PROTEST AGREEMENT WITH IRAN

The Argentinian government is plowing ahead with plans for its parliament to ratify an agreement its foreign minister signed with Iran to establish a “truth commission” to investigate the horrific July 18, 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish communal building in Buenos Aires. The blast killed 85 and injured 300, Jews and non-Jews alike.
All evidence points to Iran as the perpetrator of this attack, as well as an attack two years prior on the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires which killed 29 and injured 250.
Calling the agreement “a pact with the devil”, Rabbi Avi Weiss, national president of Amcha-Coalition for Jewish Concerns, will lead a protest demonstration on Monday, February 25th, noon, at the Argentinian Consulate General, 12 West 56th Street, Manhattan.
Rabbi Weiss had flown down to Buenos Aires immediately after the bombing to help comfort victims’ families, and met with then-president Carlos Menem.
”The agreement with Iran for an investigation of its own terror attack was signed by Argentinian Foreign Minister Hector
Timerman, who as the son of the courageous late crusading journalist Jacabo Timerman should know better,” Rabbi Weiss declared. ”On this Thursday, Argentine’s Upper House is to vote to ratify the pact. We hope our protest will help convince the Lower House to reject the agreement when it votes on February 27th.”

Bit concerned that they’ll find the actual truth are you ?? Why shouldnt a country like Argentina conduct it’s own affairs without Jewish or anyone elses intervention? And has anyone asked the non Jewish victims and their families if they would like to see a joint investigation? I think they probably would if it would bring them closer to the truth.
