Not “chariots” but 1 (ONE) cart wheel NOT from an Egyptian chariot. It proves that people used that point to cross the gulf. Nothing to do with the supernatural what so ever. It shows that it is/was possible to use that point (an ancient coral reef) to cross the gulf.

There is plenty of archealogical evidence the Jews passed that way without inventing codswallop. There are temple remains by the real mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia, ie split rock where Moses supposedly struck his staff and water gushed out, there are camp remains, temple remains and even the golden calf temple which is actually to Hathor the Egyptian cow godess of fertilty.

It does not prove the supernatural, it proves the exodus story has some historical evidence. The rest of the evidence shows their mono deity belief originated from the inbred Eygtian pharaoh Amenhotep IV, c1’300 BCE, the guy who invented monotheism. His newly invented monotheism was utterly destesed by the population he forced it upon, he was forced to build a new city to live in and hand choose his slaves for fear of assasination. After Amenhotep died, the city was abandoned and the people reverted back to their traditional beliefs.

What are the odds a group of people turn up in Palestine a short while after Amenhoteps death, sporting tales of being the ‘chosen’ people of a mono deity, and fleeing for their lives over religous persecution?

What are the odds that Amenhoteps original invention is completely independent of Judaisms claim, given both events are perfectly contiguous time wise?

The problem with Chrisitans is they either don’t know or completely ignore the fact the bible does not represent Jewish history. The Jewish history tells a completely different version of Exodus. EG, the golden calf temple story is a tiny snippet of a huge battle they had between themselves. The truth is most of them did’nt believe in a mono deity, their pre Egyptian beliefs involved a pantheon of various different deities. But at mount Siani they held a competition between them to see which one was the best. El won, so being such a good sport, ordered all the followers of the other deities to be killed on sight. They massacred half their own people.

It’s only Christians and Muslims who insist the Jews always worshiped a monodeity, which is total BS. Genesis orginates in ancient Sumeria who followed a pantheon called El of the Elohim, El had two wives, Asherah and Rhomerah, dusk and dawn. They had an only begotten son called Baal, who was a go between, being half human half divine, exactly like the Jesus story.

@ Pix “El of the Elohim, El had two wives, Asherah and Rhomerah, dusk and dawn. They had an only begotten son called Baal, who was a go between, being half human half divine, exactly like the Jesus story.”

Elohim is the word for gods or it can equally be applied to Gods as in the Godhead which consisted of Two Gods and in New Testament guise they are The Father and The Son.

Baal was a false god and a counterfeit. The Devil is an expert at counterfeits hence we have Rome posing as the church. The Devil is also the arch-deceiver and he’s done a great job on you Pix.

        That’s REALLY ridiculous-
What do you think this is all about:
“Sh’ma Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Eḥad” –
Hear, O Israel: the Lord is our God, the Lord is One

That post was as ignorant as they come!

PIX- I rarely take time to address such dribble that you post, as it is so easy to attempt to discredit evidence with “alternative” fairy tales isn’t it? But in your case, I am making an exception to my ordinary ignoring of online “loudmouth’s”. Much more difficult to explain credible evidence of an event, that has been considered fantasy by “experts” as well as people like you though, historically. Your attempt to state that Jews had no belief in a monotheistic deity is absolutely without merit! The record is clear throughout the Torah/Bible, and when clear evidence of a miraculous event comes to light (again, by many previous “authorities” which have denied existence of any evidence supporting the exodus). Yet, you have the unmitigated gall to attempt to sway the point of the conversation to another topic altogether (ie: that some past pharaoh somehow invented a monotheistic deity). IF, that supposition is even accurate (that is, that an inbred pharaoh in 1300 BCE had the first notion of monotheism), couldn’t an alternative hypothesis be that he too understood the truth as well? You glibly question the “odds” of certain things happening (having a degree in mathematics might give one an ability to ascertain a guess, I suppose) without considering that your point of reference is completely untenable in this situation. I have suffered through a lifetime of liberal “intellectuals” like you appear to be, and find similarities that most of you hold in common. Namely, that the admission of the probability that God is exactly who He is, and does what He says He’ll do, as stated in scripture, is diametrically opposed to your “jaded” point of view that there is no other alternative than to attempt to question all authority other than your own delinquent/rebellious “psuedo-intellectual” attitude. Clearly, you have an opinion (which is shared by the majority of the educational system), but, at least, when good evidence is presented, have the honor to admit it, rather than attempt to blatantly ignore it and sway the “argument” toward an alternative subject matter altogether! Do yourself (as well as others) a favor by either remaining silent or giving evidence credence where it is due, rather than stumbling to divert the subject matter and, thereby causing unnecessary doubt to those who, although not schooled in these subjects, would otherwise find great solace for their individual faith. You do yourself as well as everyone else a disservice!

Well, Pix at least identifies himself while Anonymous does not. Further, anonymous uses many of the 25 tactics of disinformation. Google it and see if I am not right. Name calling being one of them. #5 if I remember correctly. lol Further, historical records do support the fact that the pharoah was a monotheistic believer in one God, now, how that happened is anyones guess, but at least his first contention is accurate. As for the rest, who knows. One thing is certain and I can testify to it, is that God is real and does exist because in the past year I have experienced so damn many miracles that are explainable in no other way. Just my two cents.

Pillars are usually built to hold up a building! So, where is the proof of the inscription on the pillar? It’s easy to say that they were removed, but where is the evidence…photos??

This is only evidence that a ship sank, had chariots or carts on it, and people drowned! Chariot wheel…it could be or it can be a cart wheel. They could have been on a boat that sank in a storm. The bones are from the drowned crew!

“The bible tells us that there were 600 choice chariots used int the chase”… I wonder who was appointed to count the chariots as they chased the Israelites across the desert?

Just because someone found a few artifacts doesn’t make it biblical fact!

    • Troll King

Who’s to say that this stuff wasn’t planted there just to make the bible story appear to be true! There are con artists everywhere…even Christian con artists!
