Jennifer Lopez To Produce Lesbian Adoption Sitcom for ABC Family Channel

On the heels of NBC airing “The New Normal” about a gay male couple seeking to have a surrogate baby, pop star Jennifer Lopez aka J. Lo,  is now producing a sitcom about a lesbian couple and their children for the ABC Family Channel:

“ABC Family says it green-lighted a series pilot from Jennifer Lopez’s production company about a lesbian couple and their diverse family.

ABC Family said Thursday the comedy-drama pilot, titled “The Fosters,” is about two women raising a “21st century,” multi-ethnic mix of foster and biological kids.

Lopez will be an executive producer for the hour-long project”. (source)

Jesus Christ defined Biblical marriage:

But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. — Mark 10:6-10.

As Beginning and End detailed in our article on “The New Normal”, Hollywood continues with its agenda to redefine traditional marriage and repeatedly deliver this message to the minds of the public. A recent study In this case, it is going directly to a younger viewing audience as much of ABC Family’s viewership are children and teens.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! — Isaiah 5:20-21.

Lopez, an outspoken supporter of gay marriage, is the latest celebrity to pay lip service to God while at the same time supporting what the Bible clearly outlines as sin (and this is less surprising in light of J. Lo’s reported involvement in the occult practice of Santeria, which we covered here).  As with the historic announcement by President Barack Obama (dubbed by Newsweek Magazine as “America’s First Gay President”), putting celebrity star power behind this show only makes the star-worshiping public that much more eager to embrace the show’s ideas and support it. This is the outcome of when society rejects God, seeks to mock the Bible and remove any reference to Jesus Christ from the public eye.
One Millions Moms, a Christian advocacy group has organized an online boycott against the show:

“ABC’s Family Channel has several anti-family programs, and they are planning on adding to that growing list… Hollywood is continuing to push an agenda that homosexuality is acceptable when scripture states clearly it is a sin. As Christians, the Bible also says that we must speak up against sin. If we remain silent then we are guilty of sin also.” (source)

Pray For Repentance

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. – 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

Pray for Lopez and the ABC Family Channel to reconsider their role in the attack on traditional family values and for the Gospel and God’s ways to take hold in their hearts. And pray for Christians to not support shows that run contrary to Biblical principles and to continue to share the Bible’s truth and the Gospel in a spirit of love.
