June Winner of Symbolic Jewelry Design Contest Unveiled
Givataim, Israel- July 1, 2013 – Ka Gold Jewelry recently announced this year’s first winner of their anticipated Symbolic Jewelry Design Contest. The contest which first ran from 2006 to 2008 became a very popular venue for spiritual artists to showcase their creations. Back then 12 promising talents emerged as winners.
This year’s June winner marks the return of this unique quarterly competition. It demonstrates the kind of deep thought that goes into the conceptualization of these designs.
The winning entry, selected last June 1, 2013 was sent by Suzy Baiz. Her model is based on the Tesseract or a 2-dimensional representation of a 4-dimensional hypercube that physicists and astronomers use in their quest for knowledge and deeper understanding of the cosmos. The Tesseract serves as a model of our “multidimensional” universe; a concept that is difficult to grasp because humans, unaided by technology, are physically unable to transcend a two-dimensional existence.
David Weitzman chose this quarter to create the Tesseract to represent those individuals who are unafraid to explore life’s mysteries and to serve as an example to others who may otherwise be blind to the wonders of the universe.
