This act caused the Jews to revolt in 66 A.D. in which the Roman general Titus entered Jerusalem and destroyed the temple in 70 A.D. and over 1,000,000 Jews were killed and others fled or were banished by the Romans to other nations.

Investigate this situation. The Jews go about their business giving their true worship to God in the holy temple. Some pagan source then takes over and the temple becomes polluted. Another example is Antiochus Epiphanes erecting a statue of Jupiter in the holy temple along with placing a pig upon the altar in 175 B.C. prior to the Roman conquest of the Holy Land.

Only the Jews who flee to Edom, Moab and Ammon will be safe (Daniel 11:41) & (Matthew 24:15-21)
History unfortunately does repeat itself and the prophets are God’s voice ringing the truth.
