The Zionist Lie of "These Last Days", or "How Is It That You Do Not Discern This Time?"

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Luke 12:56, “Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?“  Written approx. 60 – 62 A.D.

2 Tim. 3:1, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.,”  written about 63 A.D.

1 Pet. 1:5, “Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.“  written most probably about 65 A.D.

1 Pet. 1:20, speaking of Jesus, “Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you  written 65 A.D.

Jude 1:18, “How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts,“  written most probably 60 A.D.

Heb. 1:2, “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;”  written 60 – 65 A.D.

1 John 2:18, “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.”  written most probably around 65 A.D.

Rev. 1:1, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”  written 66 – 68 A.D., and most probably 68 A.D.

Rev. 1:3, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”  66- 68 A.D.

Rev. 22:10, “And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.“  again, 66 – 68 A.D.

All of the above time statements were written before the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in A.D. 70.  All were looking forward in time during their generation to a future day of judgment, a prophetic event future for them.  The time texts in the New Testament date the prophesies of the New Testament to their generation of the first century A.D., and to their lifetime.

Contrast these time statements with those of Daniel.

Dan. 10:1, “In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

Gabriel told Daniel to seal up the prophesies of the book. (Dan. 12:4, 9)  But, the angel of the Lord told John not to seal up the prophesies of the book of Revelation, because the time was at hand. (Rev. 22:10)  The judgment prophesy of Revelation was upon them, “at hand” in the first century A.D.

So, the 70 “sevens” or “weeks” of Daniel’s prophesy was considered by God to be a long time…. many days.  Indeed, 483 years of the prophesy was a long time for man, and God was giving Daniel a sneak peek.  The prophesies given to Daniel were only for Daniel at that time, because Daniel was very concerned about his people, the tribes of Israel.

But, the prophesies of Revelation were for all of the people living in the first century A.D., because the time of their judgment was upon them, at hand, or near, or soon, for things which would shortly come to pass in their lifetime. (Rev. 1:1; 22:6)  They were going to see these events play out in their lifetime.  They were going to see the coming of the Kingdom with power and glory. (Matt. 24:30; Mark 13:26, Luke 21:27)  The prophesies of Revelation were meant for those listening in the first century A.D.

So, while time means very little to God (Psa. 90:4), He made a distinction in time for the benefit of man.  The 483 years of Daniel’s prophesy was considered by God to be a long time for mankind, so much so that Daniel was not to tell the people, but to seal it up.

Jeremiah 29:28 called the 70 years of the Babylonian captivity a long time.  Why?  Because to man, 70 years is a lifetime.  In our frame of existence, that is a long time.

Therefore, God’s indications of time have meaning for us.  The words “at hand”, “soon”, “near”, “shortly” as used throughout the New Testament meant exactly that.  The time frame cannot be stretched across a span of almost 2,000 years, which is 4 times as long as the long time of Daniel 9:24.

Perspective is required.  The New Testament was written in the first century A.D., because those were the last days of the Old Testament.  Those were the days that Christ appeared on earth.  Those were the days that the sceptre was removed from Judah. (Gen. 49:10)

The perspective of the New Testament writings is of the first century A.D. Jesus, the Messiah, the Christ was manifested during the last days.  (Heb. 1:1.)   Since He was manifested, appeared, came to earth, born of woman in the last days, and He was manifested in the first century A.D., then we know that the last days occurred in the first century A.D. for that generation!  They were the last days of the old covenant with fleshly Israel.  (Gen. 49:1; Heb. 8:13)

The Kingdom was at hand during the first century A.D., for those living during the first century A.D.  When John the Baptist came preaching, and warning people to repent (Matt. 3:2), for the Kingdom was at hand, he meant exactly that.  It was at hand for that generation 2,000 years ago.

So, if the Kingdom was at hand in that long ago generation of the first century A.D., why are people today projecting it into our future?  Why do they believe it has not yet come?  Why do they doubt that Christ did exactly what He said He would do?

Do they not understand that by even projecting His kingdom as a yet future event that they are in effect calling Christ a liar?  If you are not going to believe what the Bible says, if you are not convinced that the Bible is the inspired word of God, why are you even reading it?  Why do you believe in God, if you do not believe His word?

The Old Testament tribes of Israel stretched the time of God’s prophesy when they were told of their coming judgment under the captivity of the Babylonians.  They reasoned just as some do today that, as one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, they believed God does not count time, and shrugged off the prophesy of Ezekiel.  Look at Ez. 12:22.

Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?”

The people weren’t listening to Ezekiel.  They were going about their daily lives, thinking they had more time.  But, God replied, and told them their time of judgment was at hand.

Ez. 12:23-25, “Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.   24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.   25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

II Peter 3:3-4 tells us that the Jews were doing the same thing when John the Baptist and Jesus came preaching the kingdom was at hand in the first century A.D..  They were stretching time out, scoffing at the prophesy to their generation, saying that all things continue the same.

But, Christ told the disciples in Luke 21:22 that their days were the days of vengeance that all things which were written may be fulfilled.

Christ told them that the axe was already laid at the root of the trees.  (Matt. 3:10; Luke 3:9)

Christ told the disciples in Matt. 10:23 that they would not finish going through the cities of Israel before He came in His kingdom.

Christ told the disciples that some were standing before him that would not die before He came in His kingdom. (Matt. 16:28; Luke 9:27)

Christ told the disciples that their generation would not pass till all those things were fulfilled. (Matt. 24:34; Mark 13:30; Luke 21:32)

Christ told the disciples that He came to bring judgment (fire on earth) and that it was already kindled against Israel. (Luke 12:49)  (“Earth” was symbolic in judgment language for Israel.  See my previous post “Heaven and Earth Have Passed Away”.)

Christ told Peter that John would live to see Him come again. (John 21:22)

Christ told the High Priest Caiaphas that he would see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven. (Matt. 23:64)  Judgment language pronounced against Caiaphas!

If the phrase “at hand” as used in Ezekiel meant that the prophesy would not be prolonged, but would happen in their days, then “at hand” also meant that the time was close, near, soon in the New Testament, and especially in Revelation for those listening in the first century A.D.

As Revelation was written most probably in 68 A.D., then the time of the end was within days of happening.  And, indeed it was, as it was all fulfilled in A.D. 70 in the destruction of the temple and the city of Jerusalem.

Prov. 13:12, Hope deferred maketh the heart sick….

Christ did not deceive, nor lie, nor disappoint.  John the Baptist, the Elijah of the last days, came in the first century A.D. preaching to that generation that the Kingdom was at hand, in their lifetime. (Matt. 3:2)  Christ came in power and glory and established His kingdom in their lifetime, just as He promised them He would (Rev. 22:12, 20), and sealed it with the destruction of the temple worship of the Old Testament, taking the old covenant with fleshly Israel completely out of the way.  (Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, John 16, the book of Revelation)

The new covenant with spiritual Israel (Matt. 3:9; Luke 3:8; Gal. 3:9) was fully established, fulfilling all the law and the prophets in A.D. 70, and we who are in that kingdom have everlasting life, even now.  All who have been baptized (immersed) into Christ, have put on Christ (Gal. 3:27) and are covered by the blood of Christ (Rom. 4:7) are clothed with Christ’s righteousness (Rom. 3:22; 5:17-18; 2 Cor. 5:2-4;  Eph. 6:14; Phil. 3:9; Rev. 3:5, 18), and have the promise of eternal life in Heaven with Christ and all of the heavenly host of the body, the church of Christ. (Matt. 25:46; Mark 10:30; Mark 16:16; John 3:15; John 4:36; John 6:54; John 17:3; Acts 13:48, Rom. 5:9; among many others)

What more are you looking for?  Isn’t the promise of eternal life enough?

Is it possible you have been deceived by a political propaganda machine to believe a future as yet unrealized kingdom of Christ, a future physical reign on earth, a future temple at Jerusalem?    You bet!

All of this propaganda is a denial of Christ!  The Zionists, Jesuits, and the international bankers have been playing this deception for about 140 years, since the late 19th century. They contrived to establish a new “state” of Israel in 1948, blindly calling upon the Rock of Israel as they did so.  (See “Part 5, The Zionist / Jesuit Deceit” of my previous post “It’s Not The End of The World”.)

They wanted the mineral resources of the middle east under their control.  They wanted to pit Muslims and Christians against each other, so we would kill each other off, and leave much of the world under the Zionist / Jesuit / banker control.  They have played fast and loose with God’s word, convincing people that they are helping God bring about Armageddon, so that they can carry out their wars of aggression with impunity, and thus blame the results on God.

Wake up!  Stand up!  Look at what the Bible really says!  Take God at His word!  Click on “more stories” above to read more evidences in my previous posts for It’s Not The End of the World, Parts I – X, The Latter Days Are Not Our Days, The Prophesy of Daniel 9, The Whore of Babylon, The Beast of Revelation, and others.

You do not have to be afraid.  You do not have to live in fear.   We just have to call the liars out, and expose them.

All scripture is from the KJV, and all bold emphasis is mine.  All posts are also at www.shreddingtheveil.org.
