“The  Essential doctrines of “the” Christian Faith’

Destined2B feel free to respond to all of what follows.  You have never taken up that offer and it is very doubtful you will ever will – lies can not blot out Truth.

 

The purpose of this paper is to compare logically  with the WORD of GOD Destined’s so called   “Essential Doctrines for Christians”   posted by what  appears to me to be a preacher of a new sect of the 40,000 flavors of main stream christianity — classified as “Replacement Theology”.

The following explanation of replacement theology was randomly pulled off the net, I do not know if this is accurate and do not care enough to find out .

 

What is replacement theology?

Replacement theology is the teaching that the Christian church has replaced national Israel regarding the plan, purpose, and promises of God.

Therefore, many of the promises that God made to Israel must be spiritualized. For example, when it speaks of Israel being restored to the land, this really means that the Christian church will be blessed. Also, covenants made with Israel are fulfilled in the Christian church so, for example,

1. The Jewish people are no longer God’s chosen people. Instead, the Christian church now makes up God’s chosen people.
2. In the New Testament after Pentecost, the term, “Israel,” refers to the church.
3. The Mosaic covenant (Exodus 20) is replaced by the new covenant (Luke 22:20).
4. Actual circumcision is replaced by a circumcision of the heart (Rom. 2:29).

So, in replacement theology the church has replaced Israel as the primary means by which the world is blessed by God’s work. Though it is true that the church does replace Israel in some areas, such as properly representing God on earth, acknowledging the promise of the Messiah, etc., it is not Biblical to say that God is completely done with Israel and that the Christian church is its complete replacement.

“For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery, lest you be wise in your own estimation, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and thus all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will remove ungodliness from Jacob,’” (Rom. 11:25-26).

Some replacement theologians would teach that any mention of “Israel” after Acts, chapter 2 (Pentecost), would be referring to the Christian church, but the above Scripture cannot be used to support that idea. In fact, it plainly contradicts it. Obviously, God is not done with Israel. The text tells us that God has hardened Israel, but it also tells that disheartening is temporary.

Replacement theology is also known as “supersessionism” which means that the Christian church has superceded Israel in God’s plan.

This paper will select a few doctrines Destined refers to as “Essential Doctrines” and compare them to scripture easily found in the WORD of GOD.

 

Destined’s    “Essential doctrines of the Christian Faith”

 

 1 “A new covenant: a new covenant with the house of Israel,’

 

Is there a New Covenant or contract now with the House of Israel?  Yes, absolutely and there are two writers namely the Prophet Jeremiah and the Apostle Paul that specifically address the New Covenant.

Jeremiah 31

31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, — although I was an husband unto them,— saith the LORD:

The first contract was a marriage contract; Jesus Christ married the Children of Israel at the beginning of the 40 years in the wilderness and as His bride, the children agreed to obey the voice of their Bridegroom.

33 But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Notice the House of Judah is not mentioned here – they are not as yet included in the new covenant.

Also make note of the FACT the New Covenant is putting into the hearts i.e. natures and minds — God’s TORAH.  The word “law” is the Hebrew word Torah, look it up.

Thus when Destined and others make the false statement “the Law was nailed to the stake” they are contradicting the WORD of God,  as it is never stated it was the LAW that was being nailed to the stake and never to in effect  abolish the Holy Law.

34  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Why because it will become our nature.

Hebrews 8

7 For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Please explain how this is referring to gentiles or a church or to anyone but the Children of Jacob i.e. Israel — God’s Chosen People!

If you yet attempt to make the claim it speaks of the Church then how does one know which are of the House of Israel and which ones are of the House of Judah?

Destined produce the scripture stating gentiles or any other race or tribe can or will ever take the place of GOD”S Chosen People –destined will not  – as there is not one scripture in God’s WORD he can bring forth.

9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

Please note “someone” dropped the husband statement and add “I regarded them not”.

10  For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

13 In that he saith, A new [covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old [is] — “ready’ — to vanish away.

What FACTS can be established from the writings of Jeremiah and Paul?

First the New Covenant will be made, according to Paul and Jeremiah, with the House of Israel and the House of Judah. There is no mention, no indication by either man of GOD that the parties to this contract are other then the physical 12 tribes of Israel now divide into two nations, the House of Israel and Judah.

And no mention or indication the 12 tribes are to be replaced by a church or by gentiles or by any other race or tribe of people or a spiritual people not of the 12 tribes.

Second, Paul states the reason a new contract was even needed, is the fault of the children of Israel.  The law is not shown to be at fault or even bad or harsh, but as Paul states in verse 9  “because they continued not in MY Covenant” is the reason for a new covenant.  Israel refused from the beginning to obey the voice of the Lord God.

The law was not evil or harsh or burdensome as many love to preach but Israel simply would not nor  could they obey the Voice of the Lord their God in their unconverted condition  –  as carnal human nature is totally contrary to the Holy Righteous Way of GOD, THAT WAY as revealed by HIS LAW, HIS TORAH.

And Paul stated the Old is — READY — to vanish, it is set to vanish but had not yet vanished, according to the Apostle Paul.

By the mouth of two or three witnesses facts are established – thus we have TWO: Paul and Jeremiah.  There is a third witness, the prophet Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 36

26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27  And I will put  “my”  spirit  “within” you, — and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them].

Ezekiel 11

19   And I will give them one heart (one  nature), and I will put a new spirit (that ONE Spirit) within you;   and I will take the stony heart (nature) out of their flesh,   and will give them an heart (nature) of flesh:

WHY do we require this new nature?

20  That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances,—- and do them: — and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

The New Covenant makes possible that new nature  — WHY?    “That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances,—- and do them:”                 The statues and ordinances are all found in God’s Torah.

And Who’s nature is it? It is the Divine Nature of God our Father.  2 Peter 1: 4.

The purpose of Destined’s doctrines are, he hopes, to end the Old Covenant which contains “duties’ which he refuses to fulfill, when actually the New Covenant not only includes the Holy Law as a duty but makes it even more difficult for the unconverted  to obey  — BUT — that old Law which Destined hates must become our nature  which we must walk IN and DO!

Does that make sense to you? God ends His Law and then puts that law which  He just abolished, into you as your nature?? I would assume it must make sense to destined.

If you have eyes it becomes clear:  the deceitful purposes of the doctrines of destined2B  is to free himself from the authority of God, Destined refuses to be ruled by God our Father and HIS SON Jesus Christ.

 

2    “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances,”

Colossians 2

13 And you, — being dead in your sins — and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Because the Holy Righteous Law of God is so hated and so contrary to carnal flesh and blood,  folks read this and immediately jump to the conclusion this is describing  the 10 Commandments.

Let’s begin in verse 13, what does it say?    “YOU – being dead in your sins”,

And what is SIN:  — the transgression of the LAW:   1 John 3: 4 !

You are dead “because” of those sins — because YOU transgressed God’s Holy Law and because your flesh is in a “Spiritually” uncircumcised condition.

You are not DEAD because the Law is evil!  You are as good as dead, dead for all eternity, because YOU have broken all 10 of the Commandments as well as God’s  Torah.

What does uncircumcised in our flesh mean as this also applies to women as well?  This is another whole study but it means Jesus Christ has not completed the “circumcision without hands’ in you.

Christ has not cut away the carnal human nature which all humans are born with.  Our carnal natures must be removed and replaced by the HOLY Righteous Perfect Divine Nature of God the Father.  This is what Paul and Jeremiah are referring to in verses 33 and 10. 

God is putting His Divine Holy nature in us and that Divine nature can be understood by the Torah,  the word translated  ‘Law’ used in verse 33 is the Hebrew word  “Torah”.  The Torah is what God in placing in our minds and hearts i.e our natures by the indwelling of His Spirit.

What follows next;  “He quickened together with Him — Having forgiven you all trespasses:”   Christ by His sacrifice caused to be “forgiven” ALL your trespasses: your – SINS,  are paid for by His shed blood, not your own blood !

Question; how does or can abolishing the law or beginning to obey the Law remove sins from the  PAST ?  AND:  If the law were abolished at the death of Christ then from 2000 years ago until  today no one could have possibly committed a sin!  No law against sin means no sin is possible.

I have asked these two questions before — none have ever attempted to answer either  because — they can not and neither can any of you!  

Destined2b or any of your staff- or – anyone — please explain;  if the Law was abolished at the death of Christ then when the Apostles told the 3000, at that first Feast of Pentecost in Jerusalem, they need to repent (Acts 2: 38)  PLEASE !!!  —-  What was it they needed to repent of?? 

And remember the NEW Testament was not even written.

The Apostles told the 3000 — THEY — murdered Jesus Christ and the last time I looked the Sixth Commandment is “Thy shall not murder”.

If there were no Law against murder; then murder can not be a  SIN.  After the death of Christ the Apostles charged 3000 with the crime of murder. Do you suspect they got the memo the Law was abolished later on?

Sin is impossible without a definition of what – IS – SIN:   without a law that labels an action sin, there is no sin.  Only the Creator can set in Stone what is SIN, —— which HE DID! 

Only our Creator has the right to set in stone what HE deems to be SIN!

The 10 Commandments simply codify 10 actions that God has determined to be  SIN!  Without the 10 descriptions i.e. definitions of what is a sin — please tell us what is sin? You Mr Destined can not do so.

If, Destined, want to bring up your “NEW LAW of Christ” please list precisely and exactly how I personally can transgress  “love your neighbor as your self” ?

What if I consider having sex with  women to be showing them  “Love” – please explain why that would not be showing  “LOVE”?

Exactly what must I avoid so as not to transgress this Royal Law? And I agree it IS the Royal Law.

The answer is found in Commandments 5 through 10; by observing these 6 Commandments we show love to neighbor. “Love is the keeping of the Commanments”.

Now let’s look closely at:

                   “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances”.

Here are three translations which allows us to see how others understand what is being stated by Paul, —- the hard to understand Apostle.

KJV  14 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; “

NIV  14 “Having canceled the ‘charge’ of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”

NLT 14 “He canceled the ‘record’ of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.”

Here are the Greek words many ‘demand’ are referring to the Torah and the 10 Commandments but other translators are not so certain that is the truth.

Blotting out: #1813, Esaleipho; To smear out i.e. obliterate (erase tears, fig. pardon sin) blot or wipe away. The word ‘blotting’ is use only 5 times in the entire Bible.

Handwriting:  #5498, Cheiragogos; something handwritten, a legal document or bond.  This word ‘handwriting’ is used  only one time in the entirety of the Bible.

Ordinances: #1378 Dogmatizo; to prescribe by statute, i.e. (reflex,) to submit to certain rule – be subject to ordinances. #1379 is  used 5 times .

Against: #2596, Kata; def. is too long to include. Basic definition, Against or opposition.

Contrary: #5227 Hupenantios, an opponent; adversary.

If Paul had wanted to make certain YOU understood Christ was abolishing the Torah  — why did he confuse the issue by  ‘never using’ the word abolish or a similar word?? 

Why not just state “Christ took the Torah and nailed it to His stake”?  Why use ”blotting out handwriting ordinances”?

When we read what other translators believe the meaning to be, we see they do not bring up the Commandments or the Torah because neither is found in the words of Paul.

NIV  14  “Having canceled the ‘charge’ of our - legal indebtedness,- which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”

NLT  14  “He canceled the -‘record’ - of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.”

I know full well the vast majority will not see, will never understand  —  to “understand” would mean most of what they hold as truth would crumble.

Reading the NIV and the NLT translations we find what was nailed to the stake was the ‘charges ‘or the ‘record’ or the ‘written indictment ‘charging each of us with transgressing the Holy Law of God.  

The written legal record of  indebtedness, — the legally written indictment, indicting each of us for breaking God’s Holy Law –  not the LAW its’ self—– was nailed to the stake! 

 

Christ took the “legal document” — charging each of us –with murder, adultery, lying, stealing, worshiping idols, taking God’s name in vain plus all others we broke and nailed that legal document with our names on it — to His stake thus taking upon Himself the debt for all of our sins.

 

I am beginning to believe many do not think THEY could ever be charged and then indicted for murder, adultery, lying, stealing, worshiping idols etc. Christ makes it clear: There is not one good – no – not even one!.

Christ, by His sacrifice, removed us from being— “UNDER” — -the penalty of death and not out from – under – the authority of His Law. 

Again if the Law, the Torah, were abolished how does that remove from me all my passed sins, and past sins I do have ?? There can be no new sin — if there is no law stating what sin is.

 

7   “men are not made for the Sabbath,’?????

  

Deceitful men like destined take things out of context to snare the gullible.

27 And he said unto them, —-The Sabbath “was made” for man, —and not man for the Sabbath:

By only quoting the stated fact men were not made for the Sabbath and not including the whole statement our Savior made which states “the Sabbath – “WAS” — MADE  FOR  MAN” , Destined  proves he is deceitful and desperately wicked.

Jesus Christ has stating as FACT , Not only is He the maker of the Sabbath, He is LORD of that HOLY DAY as He is it’s Maker AND the reason He made the Sabbath is to bless mankind.

Lord also means Master, Christ is Master of the 7^th Day of each week. Please show us Destined where Christ changed that Holy Day to the first day of a week or any other day or some how removed it from being HOLY.

The Sabbath was made as the day of rest for mankind; a “rest’ man desperately needs from this wicked harsh world in which he lives. 

Consider this fact; If you honor God’s Sabbath by not working for a living, not working on your land or in your home, God will supply, for free, everything needed for that 7th day. How harsh is that???

After many decades of resting on the Sabbath I can personally attest that God supplies all needs for those that obey, and it is a “cup” that never runs dry.

While the children of Israel were 40 years in the wilderness God gave them manna 6  days each week  and on the 6^th day they could gather enough for two days. They thus could rest on the 7^th Day.

Do any of you really want to be forced to work 7 days a week just to survive?

Destined must!

11 “The Old Law Is Obsolete”,

 

Not in the entirely of the WORD of God does it state the Torah and or the 10 Commandments are obsolete or will ever become obsolete—no where!!!!!

The only thing that is “growing” old IS the first covenant, not the law, the Law is included in the covenant – the law is NOT THE Covenant, it is the covenant’s  “consideration” due from the children of Israel. The Old Covenant  ‘IS’  vanishing, in the process of vanishing ‘ thus not as yet gone.

And if one will simply read the Word of God they will find the TORAH i.e the 5 books of Moses were place in the Arc of the Covenant  on which  the Mercy Seat sits which is the Throne of God the Father and that Throne is in the Holy of Holies.   Deuteronomy 31: 26

 

The Torah is so Holy to our Father it is kept under HIS Throne  –  so are we to believe Jesus Christ went into the Holy of Holies and took the Torah from the Arc and cast if away thus rendering it no longer HOLY??

From beginning to end — the entirety of what is termed “the Old Testament”  —- screams:—-  GOD’s  LAW  is  HOLY,  JUST, and  GOOD —  AND — it is still deemed to be Holy Just and Good in the New Testament.

Romans 7

12  Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

Thus to make the bold statement that “the old law is obsolete” and then to include that statement as an ”Essential Christian Doctrine” the person making that statement is making God a liar.

1 John 2

3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

When the Apostle John wrote this in his letter there was no New Testament writings only the Old Testament i.e. The Law (Torah), Psalms and the Prophets.

4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth — not –his commandments, – is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

What a bold statement John is making!

5  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

6  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

And How DID Jesus Christ walk ??  According to the Torah from which He taught that perfect WAY!

7  Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.

All the Apostles and Saints had in their day was the Old Testament. Yes they later passed around the letters which became the New Testament but the Torah and the Old Testament was their “Word of God”, it was the authority to which they looked for TRUTH and instruction in righteous living.

8  Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is TRUE in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the TRUE light now shineth.

9  He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.

Christ taught in Matthew 5 if you hate your brother you are transgressing the Holy Commandment not to murder. It is new in the sense, transgressions that occur only in your mind are now — SIN.

 

12   “The Old Testament Law Is Fulfilled In Christ,”

Destined please show us how the word “fulfilled” means ended which is exactly what you demand it mean.

When I “fulfill” all that is required by a contract, it means I have complied with all the contact terms, — that does not end the contract.

If I fulfill the Laws of the United States of America during my life time, those laws are not thus ended.

If I obey the law and never run a red light – that does not end that law.

Jesus Christ lived by the Torah to perfection to become our PASSOVER.

And we are told above in 1 John 2: 6 to follow Jesus Christ — destined how can we be following Christ if we are not living by the same laws HE live by?? Christ told His Apostles as He called them to Him “come and follow ME”

Are you stating we should not live by the same Laws as Jesus Christ?  We should follow “you’ and NOT our Savior??

Not a chance that would ever happen – I should listen to “you” and ignore the clear instructions of my Master?? God for bid!!!

17  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

That word “fulfil’ does not mean end or abolish but to make full, to complete, to fill to capacity.

 

Matthew 5

17  Think not that I am come to destroy the law , or the Prophets:           I  am  not  come  to  destroy, — but to fulfil.

I am not come to destroy – but to fill the LAW to the FULL!

18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.  (#1069 come into being)

Christ is stating not even one “iota’ of the Law  ‘can be removed’  until  heaven and earth can pass away – and  until that “can”  happen –all will come into being – to the full i.e. The Law and the Prophets will be in full force and effect.

19 “Whosoever therefore — shall break one — of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, —- he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:

but whosoever — shall do – and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. “

Why is it most stop with verse 17? Because verses 18 and 19 clear up any possible misunderstanding one may have.

“If” Christ had come  AND “FULFILLED” the requirements of  the law, [which is quite different from your desired definition  as your term ‘fulfilled’ is interrupted to meaning  ‘none needed to keep the law from then on’;  i.e.  “Christ did it for me” —-

THEN  why on earth would Christ  state:   Whosoever therefore — shall break one — of these least commandments, and shall teach men so,  he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:???

If Christ came to live the Law and obey the Law  –FOR US — so we do not need to do so— why —   please   why — did He then clearly say if you teach or break even  one —-YOU SHALL BE CALLED THE LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN?

Sorry that makes no sense but I know there are those that are able to work the words around to make the words of Christ say what they want Christ to say.

Going back to verse 17, Jesus Christ in His own words states,  He came to “make full’ the Law — what could that possible mean?

Matthew 5

21  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

The Old Covenant was a physical Contract with a physical law for a physical people.

When Christ came He came to bring a Spiritual Contract for a spiritual people with a spiritual Law.

The Law that states you shall not murder is physical, you are not to murder someone physically.  Christ filled the Law — UP,  – it is now compete– now it is spiritual as well as physical– thus if you shall say ‘thy fool’, or even in your mind desire to murder a man — YOU have transgressed the Holy Spiritual LAW of GOD you are convicted of transgressing the Law of God i.e. convicted of murder.

Christ came and made the law more impossible for physical unconverted humans and even converted followers to obey.  Most  some to day, I should say, can control themselves from actually participating in adultery but in their minds it is impossible.

And that convicts all men as sinners. If you red blooded men tell me you have never lusted after a woman — I will laugh in your face.  And today women are lusting after other women.

I will conclude with the following;

Paul gave us the Doctrines of Jesus Christ – and –no one pays any attention:

Jesus Christ has already shown us  HIS  Doctrines, Destined wants to usurp the authority of Jesus Christ! 

Hebrews 6

1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ,

let us go on unto perfection;

not laying again “the foundation”

of repentance from dead works,

 and of faith toward God,

2 Of the doctrine of baptisms,

and of laying on of hands,

and of resurrection of the dead,

and of eternal judgment.

3 And this will we do, if God permit.
