SUBJECT: The Eight Horses of the Apocalypse

INTRODUCTION: Study the following facts, and prepare to be enlightened.

FIRST: In Zechariah 6: Four Horses…Red, Black, White, and Dapple

NOTE: The prophet Zechariah wrote his prophesies around 640-609 B.C.

Red and Black and White – ride North

Dappled – ride South

SECOND: In Revelation 6: Four Horses…White, Red, Black, and Green

NOTE: The prophet John of Patmos wrote his books around 51-96 A.D.

White Horse – Conquers

Red Horse – Sword

Black horse – Famine

Green [aka mistranslated as ashen] – Death

THIRD: Scriptures

Zechariah 6:1-8

6 Now I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming forth from between the two mountains; and the mountains were bronze mountains. ² With the first chariot were red horses, with the second chariot black horses, ³ with the third chariot white horses, and with the fourth chariot strong dappled horses. ⁴ Then I spoke and said to the angel who was speaking with me, “What are these, my lord?” ⁵ The angel replied to me, “These are the four spirits of heaven, going forth after standing before the Lord of all the earth, ⁶ with one of which the black horses are going forth to the north country; and the white ones go forth after them, while the dappled ones go forth to the south country. ⁷ When the strong ones went out, they were eager to go to patrol the earth.” And He said, “Go, patrol the earth.” So they patrolled the earth. ⁸ Then He cried out to me and spoke to me saying, “See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north.”

Revelation 6:1-8

The First Seal—Rider on White Horse

1 Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” ² I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.

The Second Seal—War

³When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.” ⁴ And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.

The Third Seal—Famine

⁵When He broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. ⁶ And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not damage the oil and the wine.”

The Fourth Seal—Death

⁷When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” ⁸ I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.

FOURTH: Personal testimony

I prefer to focus my attention on scientific knowledge, so dreams have not been something to which I give much study. However, I am aware that they are a spiritual tool and accept them as real. The book of Daniel shows us how we must understand heaven’s instructions when they come through a dream. There are many examples of dreams that warn people in scriptures.

In 1998, I was startled awake by a very vivid dream. It was morning and there was bright sunshine. A normal day. Suddenly, a loud whistling sound was outside. The sound was like a missile dropping out of the sky. All of us dashed out the door to look, and a white shining skeleton dropped out of the sky onto the green grass. I cautioned a child next to me by saying, “Don’t touch. Hot.”

Next, I heard horses coming from the East. I saw four huge horses, as tall as the Empire State Building in New York City, coming over the eastern horizon. They were moving at a slow pace.. not even a trot…their heads moved back and forth. Their manes fluffed in the wind and their tails gently moved. Their colors were: Red, Black, White, and Dapple. They were both beautiful and terrifying. The dapple colored horse stood out in my memory.

At that time, I was not aware of the horses in Zechariah, so I thought, “Are these the horses in Revelation?’ Then, through a Word study, I learned about the Dapple color of horse in Zechariah. Later the prophecy pastors began teaching that the term “ashen” in Revelation was mistranslated and that the word in Greek-Arabic scriptures meant “Green”.

In 2001, the dream began to manifest, as the Twin Towers of New York were hit and toppled.

Today, I must share this knowledge: There are eight horses of the apocalypse, and they have very specific duties.

CONCLUSION: May you be further enlightened, as we watch the heavenly battle come into our dimension. I hope everyone understands the meaning of the legal word, “SAVED,” which is used in our scriptures. If not, get educated and get saved. We are witnessing the End of an Age. You do not want to be ignorant about the events around us.
