Village Idiot of Rome Meets Village Idiots of Jerusalem*

A college professor once informed his students that, to the ancient Greeks, the world was understood to be resting on the back of a giant turtle; to which one student responded by raising his hand.

“It’s no use,” replied the professor. “It’s turtles all the way down.”

And, of Christian theology—and the entire Christian perspective on reality—it can also be said: “It’s no use. It’s idolatry all the way down.”

Now, to hundreds of millions of Roman Christians, the current pope—whoever he is—is the greatest person alive since Jesus Christ.

Seriously.

But does the current pope—whoever he is—know anything at all about the Teaching of Jesus?

Can he explain, for example, the reply of Jesus to the Sadducees? or why there were only “holy men” (are there not any “holy women”?) purportedly ‘raised from the dead’ at the time of the crucifixion?

Or, for that matter, why only Adam (“the man”), but not the woman, was banished from Eden? (What ever happened to Eve?)…

Of course not.

(And, as many Roman Christians might say: “What difference does that make?”)

While, to many other Christians, Pope Francis is the most evil person who has ever lived; more evil, for example, than Hitler, or Stalin, or Kaganovich (from the Holodomor) put together: that is, being the “false prophet” specifically mentioned in the Revelation of John.

Only because he went to Jerusalem.

But both of these images are the product of idolatry.

And, in any case, what difference does it really make that the village idiot of Rome has met with the village idiots of Jerusalem?

None whatsoever.

The principal concern of both the pope and the chief rabbis is to preserve Christianity, Inc. and Judaism, Inc.; for which reason they will still continue to teach the lies that are pushing this civilization into the “time of trouble”.

Translation: the only purpose of the pope’s trip to Jerusalem was religious entertainment.

But don’t worry.

There will be more such ‘entertainments’ up until the very day that these “false prophet” Jewish, Christian (and Muslim) religious ‘authorities’ (Why no statement by the pope from Jerusalem about releasing the hundreds of young Christian women kidnapped by Boko Haram?) bring this civilization to at least the very brink of annihilation.
