Why God Can’t Stop the Devil & Suffering & Why the Catholic Church Is on the Wrong Side of the Issue

50 years ago, I noticed my wife making breakfast had bare feet on a cold floor and I said, You should have your slippers on. She was busy, but a minute later, our little boy came running with her slippers! How happy I was to see him do that, but I would have no joy to threaten him with a beating if he didn’t bring mother’s slippers.

God is like that—He would get no joy in a forced obedience. He wants us free to choose how we live and hopes we will be wise to live well–He has given us wise laws or guidelines. The Ten Commandments prelude implies that because we love Him, we will have no other gods and will treat our neighbor fairly as we would want to be treated.

God made all of His creation with the freedom of choice, but Lucifer chose to do his own thing. He claimed to be holy and that whatever he wanted was ok, irrespective of God’s guidelines. He got a third of the angels to join him in rebellion against God. God could have stamped out Lucifer, but then all the angels would serve Him from fear.

God in His wisdom chose to allow Lucifer whom call the devil—source of evil, the opportunity to demonstrate his principles in opposition to God’s principles of love. The climax came when Satan killed Christ on the cross—there love and hate were revealed, and those who appreciate God’s providing for their salvation by paying the price for their sins will, in gratitude, seek the help of His Spirit to repent and live a better life as we surrender our life to Him and He becomes Lord of our life.

Satan’s principles are seen when the king of Babylon wanted everyone to bow in worship to the image representing his kingdom. When three Hebrews wouldn’t bow to his image, he had them thrown into a fiery furnace.

Rome did similar, throwing believers to lions if they would not offer incense (symbol of worship) to the emperor. When the Roman Empire fell, the papacy emerged as the “little horn” in Daniel 7:21 to represent the papacy that also burned Christians at the stake if they wouldn’t submit to papal edicts.

The papacy continues to use principles of earthly kingdoms in spite of Christ’s saying, “My kingdom is not of this world.” This is seen in the Syllabus of Errors by Pope Pius IX in 1864, and it is in full force wherever the Roman Church can enforce its will. God blessed the US with a Constitution granting freedom as no other nation has. It was the only Protestant nation in the New World and its freedoms made it the greatest nation in the world. But as Lincolon said…

After Reagan was shot, he cooperated by appointing an ambassador to the Vatican and opening US southern border.

Many patriots fail to understand the “Deep State” as members of secret societies moving the US toward a UN global government with the pope’s policies being voted by so many Catholic nations.

But the Bible [dangerous book, according to the pope] shows God is not taken by surprise as the US has copied Egypt’s history—they threw babies in the river; the US has aborted 60 million, and enslaved most people in drugs, (even Rx drugs are a form of bondage), alcohol, tobacco and negative lifestyles that Hollywood exports worldwide.

Patriots should pay attention to God’s plan in Jeremiah 30:3 where He “will bring again the captivity of [His] people Israel and Judah (true believers) and cause them to return to the land that [He] gave our fathers” and He will make “a full end of all other nations” verse 11. Christians may wonder how they fit, but Paul said, “If you are Christ’s, you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:29.

So rather than fighting bigger guns with tanks, patriots would do well to consider God’s plan to gather us out of all nations and bring us into our own land where He will fulfill the New Covenant Promise to put His laws in our hearts as seen in Ezekiel 36:24-28 before the Gog and Magog conflict two chapters later that we hear preachers mention.

So how do we get there from here? Here’s an overlooked scenario that puts several Bible puzzle pieces together— With Biden as president, Muslims may not fear to fulfill prophecy in Zechariah 14 with their sieging Jerusalem and taking the city—“houses shall be rifled; women shall be ravished…half the city goes into captivity.”

Their joy will be brief! “The Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…the earth shall shake” (Joel 3:16) and they will flee. But the earthquake that shakes the world will destabilize the San Andreas Fault with calamity as in the movie that was released in 2015 with other signs of end-times like pope’s visit to Congress and gay marriage in Supreme Court (Mark 13:14) and “Peace and safety” of the Iran Nuclear Treaty that brings destruction, 1Thess 5:1-3.

That text and Zechariah 14 both say “day of the Lord” which Isa 2:12,19,21 shows to include a “terrible shaking.” At that point, Christians should rather want to be in the land of the covenant and protected by God, Exodus 34:10.

The covenant is how we marry the Bridegroom, as Israel did at Sinai and God later said, “I am married to you,” Jeremiah 3:14, sadly misunderstood as a rapture, but Paul included the Exodus in “all those things happened to them for examples…ends of the world.” 1Cor 10:1,11.

PS: This is not ‘Hate Speech’ against Catholics and does not incite harm to them. God loves everyone and His plan allows them to make the most of the US which their hierarchy has been trying to divide from the days of Lincoln. We should hate false systems that will be worthless to bring peace to the world, but we should love people as God does and wish them well as we respect their rights to do as they please, even if they disregard His Word to cooperate with the forces of evil.
