The Holy Sinners - The Dirty Secrets Of Sinful Catholic Priests

Catholic priests have consistently been involved in sexual scandals, including the abuse of nuns and young boys, from ancient times to the present and many of the victims are afraid to talk about it. 

In the Vatican City’s 2,000-year history, not all pages are white, and not every one of the Popes had been honest. There were usurpers, profligates, vendors in guilty pleasures; militarists, and even pedophiles inside the Catholic Church, where grieved individuals or those that needed to reside as per the standards of God often seek help. Even today, the papal throne has been at the focal point of European politics and discussions of the ludicrous and unholy behavior of those that wear the mantle.

The notions of what constitutes moral excellence have changed greatly throughout time, with Popes being remembered as the most devout of all. Since the beginning of the Christian Church, the Pope has held the undisputed leadership of the Holy See and is regarded as St. Peter’s successor. Of course, the clause requires the pontiff to uphold high moral standards and serve as a shining example of all Christian virtues for the faithful, but not all pontiffs were humble, and some even treated celibacy.

The Apostle Peter is said to have been the first pope in the church’s history, since that time, 266 popes have taken the papal seat, 80 of whom have been declared saints. The majority of the early popes who lead the Catholic Church were real martyrs who were assassinated or tortured by Romans, Barbarians, Saracens, and other unrepentant atheists. Absolute power corrupts totally, and the Vatican palaces have witnessed such misdeeds of the holy fathers for decades that the public is mostly unaware of.

Considering my three-year residence in Rome, Italy, in the 1990s and my fluency in the language, I was able to observe much of the sinful behavior of the majority of these Roman priests at Catholic Centers and Caritas dining establishments. Roman fathers didn’t live with women, but it doesn’t imply they had no sexual desires. In most of their places, we saw them every day with young boys, generally from North Africa or somewhere else because their skin was not darker than West Africans.
